Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Nicole Gesik for over five years, And truthfully, I owe my life to her! About six years ago I had a major autonomic nervous system crash. It was a hell I didn’t even know existed and an excruciating recovery. I truly believe if it wasn’t for Dr. Gesik’s One of a kind knowledge And skills that I wouldn’t be here today and at the very least not in the kind of shape I am in now. I went from barely Being able to stand more than 5 to 10 minutes at a time to now being able to run again and not only being able to run again but also function the rest of the day And the day after and so on! I’m still recovering But it is nothing like it used to be! I went to countless doctors before her and spent thousands and thousands and thousands, which we did not have on every kind of doctor imaginable before God led me to her and her team! I urge anyone who is searching for answers and not getting any to try just one more doctor! It’s not a fast recovery or easy But it’s worth not giving up! Thank you endlessly Dr. Gesik and her team!

Fantastic experience: After I had a wrist injury and was in a cast for a while I developed a nagging back pain that affected my life quite a bit. I knew nothing was broken but didn't know how to fix it despite being active and trying yoga and stretching. Dr Gesik was able to diagnose the problem and treat it in the same session needing only two other "tune up" sessions. I only wish it hadn't taken me so long to find the right doctor to help me! The visit with her was worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nicole Y. Gesik is an excellent osteopath who has been my healthcare provider for over six years. Her Functional Medicine approach focuses on finding root causes rather than just treating symptoms. She's very skilled at interpreting bloodwork and performing gentle body manipulation, and she provides personalized care tailored to each patient's needs. Her extensive knowledge of nutrition and her own healthy lifestyle add credibility to her practice. Her comprehensive and individualized approach has significantly improved my health over the years. I highly recommend Dr. Gesik for anyone seeking thorough, personalized osteopathic care.

Negative experience: I have heard so many great things about Dr. Gesik— but after leaving today, this will be my last time visiting her. This is my second negative experience with her, unfortunately. Her entire staff at IMUA seems a bit spread thin and not the most kind or clear. The front office made a scheduling error and double booked her, and after Dr. Gesik touched my shoulders, talked at me, informed me of my posture, and did a nerve/muscle test for all of 3-4mins, she made me aware that she had a meeting and had to now see this other patient and she would not be treating me before I saw a physical therapist. If this was the case and I would not be treated at all— I’m so unclear why these kinds of clarifications are not made clear over the phone? I work full-time, go to school full-time, and canceled my first day of class in hopes that the painful issue in my cervical spine could be helped by this DO who all the wealthy folks on this island love to rave about. The most concerning thing to me was the way I felt. The bedside manner and general tone was so medical and removed— why is this our “best” option here on O’ahu? Treat people like humans, at least make one indication that you even read all the paperwork I filled out, and communicate what the doctor will be seeing you for. And for the love of God— do not make your scheduling error and a personal meeting the patients problem.

Negative experience: Great treatment, but do check with your insurance. Each visit costs about 140$ for evaluation + another 140$ for treatment. I never paid so much for an osteopathic treatment and can't beleive the bill I just received

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with multiple health issues and see a variety of specialists for each issue. Dr. Gesik was the first doctor who took inventory of each of my issues and created a easy to follow and understand plan of how to heal my whole body so that it can be supported to heal itself vs focusing on just one piece at a time. Through her deep knowledge of the whole body, natural and traditional medicine, I finally feel confident in what I'm doing to support my body and feel the best I've felt in years.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been seeing Dr.Gesik for many years. We even have several friends from California who when they visit will see her because it is so hard to find somebody who can truly help you heal and optimize your health in the way that she does. She is also a brilliant scientist and really understands medicine. We are athletes and she has helped us to continue to be very active and be our best. Her level of caring is phenomenal.

She always takes the time to explain to me what she’s doing . So I can better understand how to care for myself after her treatment. Fantastic experience: I have been to doctor Gesik for many different treatments. Arm nerve pain, back pain during pregnancy and a severe skin rash. I have spoken with her about several health concerns as well. I’d like to point out that she will always take the time to answer all of your questions with care so if you’re waiting longer than you’d like to see her, just know that she will give you all the time in the world once she’s with you. The reason her costs seem high is only because insurance companies don’t cover what she offers. But what she offers works more quickly than what insurance tends to cover and in my opinion this costs less in the long run. She is a very well informed doctor and shares very useful information about specific health issues as well as lifestyle. I know multiple people who have gone to her and she’s been able to solve many problems for them as well as prevent further health issues. I wish more doctors knew and cared as much as her.

Fantastic experience: I was very lucky to find Dr. Gesik when I did. No doctor I saw before her had understood what was going on with my body and how to solve it. It was complex and required thinking outside the standard protocols. The testing and labs work combined with her knowledge of supplements and diet got me on the road to recovery. In many ways I am healthier now then before I got sick. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: To me, Dr. Gesik is a doctor who care, keeps abreast of the latest medical information available, and has an approach that makes sense. She does a comprehensive workup, including mapping your micro biome (the flora in your intestinal/digestive system) and blood. From there she uses natural methods to get your body back in shape. She doesn't immediately go for the easy, drug-based answer. If you're looking for a doctor like that, she's the one.
