Fantastic experience: Excellent service

Fantastic experience: I walked into their office on a cane, almost on crutches due to sciatica pain. We did the evaluation and xrays and the standing that was very painful due to the sciatica. They put me in decompression for several minutes and much to my surprise and satisfaction, I walked out of the office without the aid of a cane and almost pain and discomfort free. Several visits undergoing the decompression have helped very much. I still experience some pain and discomfort but Dr. Hicks and Dr. Charlotte have made most of it disappear with their treatments. I highly recommend them.

Amy was very thorough on explaining everything that their office provided and was very thorough on previous injuries and care. Introduced me to the DR. and listened to all my future needs. After the exam he did the adjustments. Which he was very thorough at explaining what he was doing and why. Upon leaving receptionist was very polite. And set up Future monthly visits for me, was not pushy at all as a matter fact, it was Nice to have the recommendations for Services and not to feel obligated. I truly feel like they care about the person and the care that they provide. Thank you all very much! P.S. The stabbing back pain and acid reflex that I was feeling was gone about an hour after my visit.

Fantastic experience: Highlands Family Chiropractic was a game changer for me. I have multiple cervical discs that are herniated and were pinching my ulnar nerve causing me to lose feeling in my right hand. Initially, I went to see a local neighborhood chiropractor, but they suggested that I try to find a place that could do traction because my injury was beyond what they were able to help me with. The entire staff is incredibly helpful. They're attentive and compassionate and walk you through your care plan so there are no surprises and you know exactly what to expect. Within 6 visits, my pain was gone, and I no longer have the numbness running down my arm. I'm incredibly grateful, and I can't recommend them enough.

I must say though that I am very impressed with everyone's friendliness and complete attentiveness during my visits, as if I were their only patient. Monday I clearly wasn't their only patient but always felt I had their complete attention. Fantastic experience: Dr Hicks and his staff are amazing. I had never been to a chiropractor before so I decided to try their $49 special. They immediately noticed that my neck was not curved correctly, which they suspected was a factor in my sleep apnea. I agreed to a 3 month treatment plan and the results were impressive. Based on my cpap machine readings, the number of nights without any apnea tripled (from 2.3 nights/month before treatment to 6 nights/month after) and the average number of apnea events dropped from 0.4/hour to 0.2/hour. I have seen an ear/nose/throat specialist and an allergist but neither suggested chiropractic treatment as an option. I'm so fortunate to have stumbled into this treatment!

Fantastic experience: Highlands Family Chiro provides consistent and compassionate care for all of their patients. My wife and I both have been treated here. They complete Xrays and a thorough exam with both of us and gave recommended treatments based on those, which put me at ease due to past physical injuries. Little did i know that so many of my headaches were coming from a structural issue within my neck. I completed the recommended therapy and am continuing wellness adjustments to keep my body aligned and feeling great. I definitely recommend them for your wellness needs.

We went through the recommended treatment and now his percentage of scoliosis is down enough he will be able to join the marines. They are such a friendly and amazing staff on top of it.

Fantastic experience: I am blown-away at the transparency of this Chiropractic Clinic and their entire staff. Their team of professionals has provided me with the utmost care and attention to detail from my first telephone call to my first treatment. The amount of time Dr. Hick's spent with me, examining and explaining my Xrays alone was incredible. After two visits, I had a clear understanding of my injury (why I was experiencing pain) and my personal needs for treatment of my pain and a clear understanding of what was needed for my path to recovery.

Fantastic experience: It was refreshing to see a chiropractor as a new patient and have not only an hour appointment to go over history but actually felt listened to within that hour. They seem very patient centered and focused on developing individualized treatment goals collaboratively. They were also not hesitant at all to allow my young kiddo to come along for the appointment which luckily I didn’t have to do but was a huge relief as a back up plan.

The receptionist, Amy, is friendly and there was no wait time. This was my first time but from the looks of the facility, they offer a wide range of treatment options and I look forward to a long relationship with HRF Chiropractic for better health. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dr. Hicks for over a year now and he has been so great. I play golf at a high level and he has helped my back to be stronger and pain free which has helped lower my scores.

Negative experience: PATIENTS BEWARE!!!! This company is owned by a family of liars. We have given them over a month to abide by their word, but they keep changing it. My wife (a former employee who has quit due to these lies) was told we would receive services at a certain price, only to find out that they were billing my insurance. Not only did they lie about that, but I had the worst service from Charlotte, who is a new chiropractor. She never once was able to adjust me. 5 visits. Nearly $1000 on my insurance, and I haven't been adjusted once correctly.These people ARE NOT MEDICAL DOCTORS, yet they try to act like it.

Fantastic experience: I came here with a pulled lower back initially, along with pretty poor posture to begin with, and the initial recovery and relief of pain was quick. I have never done traction previously, but after 3 months of visiting regularly, I am definitely noticing the long term benefits of the adjustments that I am receiving and the traction that I do during each visit!

They genuinely want to help, and they are open to providing advice on how I can improve my spinal alignment at home with regular practices that I can continue on my own. They're not a quick-fix-keep-coming-back place, they're a long-term healing center. I drive from downtown to see them, and they've been flexible and understanding during inclement weather which I've appreciated more than I could ever say. I'm so happy I found them, and I HIGHLY recommend their care!

They have every form of decompression and use there expert knowledge of the human body to find exactly what you need to Relieve you of pain and discomfort. Fantastic experience: Dr Hicks and his staff were extremely helpful when my back went out and I could not at all walk!! I was out of work, but in about 1 1/2 weeks, I COULD WALK and return to work in a couple of weeks❣️. In 3 weeks, literally could stand and sit w out severe pain or all day pain. They are professional and very kind people, and know what they are helping with! They found out there is strong back arthritis and degeneration…but it does gets better w each visit. Dr Hicks gave me exercises to do and WITH adjustments and disc pumping was even better. Fantastic experience: I have a back injury, that originally could have required surgery. I was in pain for 18 months and then a friend recommended Highlands Family Chiropractic . I was hesitant but went anyway. And have had my back pain under control ever since, no surgery!

Fantastic experience: Before working with Highland Family Chiropractic, I had only ran for 5 minute in the past 2 years. I had tried 2 other chiropractors, massage, dry needling with limited results. I would get muscle spasms from running and the elliptical machine. I had made peace that I would not be able to run again. Working with Dr. Hicks over the past 4 months, I am able to run in 5-8 minute intervals for a total of 20-25 minutes for 2-3 times per week. I am beyond thrilled with my progress so far, but I’m still working towards my goal of running 30 minutes without stopping.

Fantastic experience: My daughter competes in hunters on her pony Yours Truly, and with that gets jostled around and has even suffered a concussion last year. Dr Hicks has done wonders in keeping her hips and back healthy while getting jostled around and was instrumental in relieving her headaches from her concussion in May of 2019. If not for him we would not have been educated in the knowledge that there is a 3 month period of waiting to continue in a sport after a serious concussion. His work on my daughter (as well as my husband and i) has kept her mind and back healthy enough to be back in the saddle today and she is thriving!
