Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Root’s Medical since the start of the practice. Tracy is my NP. Tracy has helped me throughout the past several years. She is thorough and I trust her guidance and direction.

Fantastic experience: We just moved to Colorado all the way from Arkansas and wanted a place, to take our two year old, that is more focused on her health than traditional medicine. This office is AMAZING. Matt & Janessa at the front desk are SUPER friendly and helpful! & Mrs. Tiffany Bartlett is super thorough and caring for your child’s health!! They are called Root for a reason!! We look forward to our family coming here!

Fantastic experience: I’m a returning patient to ROOTS Medical. I was impressed with their practice years ago and knew I needed to return as health concerns started to resurface. It was a great decision then and I’m equally impressed on my return visits as their integrative approach to care and personalized natural healthcare plans have improved my condition and lifestyle significantly. ROOTS has an understanding and realizes the importance of nutrition, your environment and your emotional and spiritual well being all plays a role in your physical health. This is why I am a patient! I won’t go into extreme detail of my journey (and Larissa is fantastic!) The natural and holistic methods used by ROOTS are refreshing and welcomed. So much that I have two daughters as patients and possibly three grandchildren! Thanks to the entire staff.

Negative experience: I have mixed feelings about my experiences with Roots. Overall, I would not recommend this practice. My reasonings are as follows: While Tracy is very kind and thorough, I overall did not feel heard or understood. I did not feel like my concerns were heard or taken seriously. I had certain health goals and whenever I tried to communicate that how I was being treated seemed to go against those goals, I felt dismissed and told to just trust the process. Additionally, a few times I was told one thing and another happened or was true which left me very confused. I got billed for things I didn’t know I was being tested for (after much conversation with the staff I was able to get some of this compensated for), I was given incorrect information about labs that cost me additional time and money re-testing, and I was accused of being a “combative patient” for emailing Tracy that the office staff had given me incorrect information and asking her to communicate with her staff the correct information so it wouldn’t happen again. I was told I could no longer be her patient because of my “combativeness”. I never once used unkind words, bad language, etc. I even sent an apology to Tracy for coming off as combative (even though I don’t know how my message requesting her to inform her staff of the correct information came off as combative) because I would never want someone to feel uncomfortable by my words. I never got a response or acknowledgement for my apology so I feel very left in the dark and misunderstood. I feel fearful even posting this review as I fear that I will be somehow “punished” for or accused of something by pointing out issues with the practice. I felt saddened by the accusation as I did overall feel like I had a good relationship with Tracy. We even saw each other this summer at an activity for our kiddos and it was like spending time with a friend. I don't know what changed and how our relationship so quickly devolved after pointing out a very fixable error by the staff. To me it is odd to offer discounts on products for a “review”. I saw this as a red flag when I first went to the appointment and I regret not avoiding the practice. I have 2 other friends who have also gone to Roots Medical and had frustrating and dismissive experiences. Again, I should have avoided the practice but I was desperate for help so I ignored my concerns. While the staff can be very kind and accommodating at times, overall, the inconsistencies, dismissiveness, and the accusation I received just do not make me feel like I can recommend this place. I hope that this review is taken as an opportunity for things to change for this practice as I think Tracy is very knowledgeable and could be of great help to people who are trying to get to the “root cause” of their issues.

Fantastic experience: I was very satisfied with the intake process as well as the excellent personal attention that was provided to me by the reception staff. Also, Candace Tickle was very professional and thorough during the interview process. I highly recommend this medical practice to future patients.

She was kind, asked thoughtful questions, and set up a very straightforward plan that made a lot of sense and I was very comfortable with. Great experience overall!

Fantastic experience: Tiffany took the time to address our specific concerns after some postpartum complications with our newborn on our first visit, and even in her regular exam she was careful to explain everything she does and its significance to help educate us and put us at ease. She made us feel very comfortable and reassured as brand new parents. She’s very respectful of our beliefs and preferences for our baby’s care and willing to explain all options thoroughly. Looking forward to continuing working with her as our baby grows!

Negative experience: My wife and I had an intake appointment with Tiffany for our newborn son (11 weeks). My wife came prepared with questions to ask as getting direct information and opinions from doctors are hard to achieve. We loved the principles listed at the practice and were hoping to find a new home for our child's pediatric needs. As we sat down, Tiffany asked us very generalized questions regarding our son and our vaccine preferences. When asked about delayed vaccine schedules and certain vaccines, Tiffany told us that we could get an hour long appointment to discuss all the vaccines from start to finish. Our son had an appointment 2 days later for a particular vaccine, so my wife asked a specific question regarding a specific vaccine. I was having a hard time hearing and staying awake, so I asked Tiffany to turn off the classical music she had playing on her stereo system. When my wife asked follow up questions on what was said (like "what was the dr's name you recommended we research for a delayed vaccine schedule?), we were told "it's in the notes". We said our goodbyes, and on the drive home we received an email from the front desk stating "I do not think we will be moving forward with your family as patients with us". When my wife called to ask what happened, we were told that we "came on too strong, combative, and required the NP (Tiffany) to 'prove her knowledge' and my asking to turn off the music was 'uncalled for'." They stated on they are not traditional medial providers and we would be better served in a more "combative traditional medicine setting". We were very taken a back by this feedback; luckily we were able to find a different practice that did answer our questions and give us ample time to discuss our concerns with us. I recognize and respect their ability to refuse service and I'm sure they are a great option for families. I felt it is relevant to share my experience to inform new potential patients of this possible outcome. To their credit they did not charge us for the visit.

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter in for her one month pediatric appointment and we saw Tiffany. She is ver knowledgeable, kind, and caring. My daughter had some congestion and Tiffany was very helpful with informing us of causes, solutions and concerns. We will be bringing her there for her future pediatric checkups!

Fantastic experience: We love love love Dr Bartlett. She is such an understanding and compassionate pediatrician. It was very important to us to find a practice for our children that focused on holistic care first and respected our decisions around not vaccinating our children. They truly empower and respect your decision when it comes to your child and is extremely knowledgeable and supportive. I would highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: My experience with roots medical has been transformational! I originally came in with extreme joint pain and muscle pain that I could not figure out. When I went to other doctors, I was told that all my blood work looked fine and that maybe I had fibromyalgia, which was something that I was not willing to accept, seeing as I tried very hard to take my health seriously and do all the right things, like eating healthy, taking supplements, Etc. So I was recommended to Roots by a client of mine and I'm so glad that I did go see them! My diagnosis was a Candida and bacterial overgrowth in my intestines, and once I started on the protocol to kill the candida and bacterial overgrowth, my symptoms were relieved in one week! I am still trying to balance out everything but I am very confident that I am on the path to recovery, instead of just having a bunch of painkillers thrown at me to hide my symptoms, but not really address what was causing them! I've finally gotten to the root cause and this makes me so vey happy and relieved to finally get some answers! thank you so much roots for helping me get my life back!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Roots Medical! I’ve spent 4 1/2 years trying to find a place to take our kids for their health needs. I’ve been to so many doctors and always felt frustrated with feeling pressured regarding certain health choices. We are more holistic/naturally minded and I wanted to find a place that aligns with our values. We finally found what we were desiring at Roots Medical! Dr. Tiffany is amazing!! She has been such a huge help with our 2 year old son and his gut/skin issues that we’ve been dealing with for quite some time. At previous doctors we have visited, I always left feeling like it was a waste of time and money because they would simply push prescriptions at us, when I knew I wanted more than just a “bandaid solution”. I love to get to the root of things! At Roots Medical, I do not feel like we are just a number in a long line of patients that are shuffled in and out of a doctor’s office. They truly care about us and our health needs and have helped us find solutions to our health challenges. Roots Medical is the absolute best and I thank God for them!!

Positive experience: I’ve been on thyroid medication since I was 12 and I came to Roots to find out if there was a more holistic approach that could be taken. I’m hopeful that my treatment plan will not only help with my thyroid but be a whole body improvement.

Negative experience: The man got my call is absolutely the most rude receptionist or provider that I've ever met. I expressed that I want to establish my kid as a new patient and if he can help get me in asap. He said there's no time this afternoon for a new patient and you go ahead to talk to front desk, then finally end up hung up the phone rudely before I answer. Will not reach out again.

Fantastic experience: I feel very taken care of by nurse practitioner Larisa Lopatko. She has been working with me and guiding me through the CellCore parasite and heavy metal detox protocol for the last 4 months. Larisa has been amazing at answering all my questions and concerns through this process. She went above and beyond by arranging a personal meeting with a very knowledgeable CellCore representative! I would also like to mention that Roots Medical offers this leading cleans at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend going through them for this service.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tiffany was so nice and got my autistic daughter started on an anti-inflammatory diet which is exactly what I was looking for. She’s very educated in the areas of gut health and answered all of my questions thoroughly. So thankful to have found someone that can guide us in the process of healing my child in a holistic manner.

While the billing isn’t “traditional”, it’s been worth every penny to have medical professionals who know what they’re talking about and take time to get to know and understand you and your issues. Highly recommend! Adding more with more positive experiences - I’ve been working with Candice for 3 months now on gut health, skin issues and cholesterol issues. I’ve seen significant changes (with diet and additional supplements) for the better since working with her and appreciate her knowledge base.

Fantastic experience: I was excited to find a function medicine practice that can take the whole family. The staff are incredibly friendly and so far, I feel comfortable exploring my journey to feeling well again! I love the detailed testing of gut health, which can be the root of all issues. My 5 month old has terrible reflux, and we are also working to mend that. If you want a place to listen to your concerns and truly find the root cause - look no further!

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my initial virtual visit with Larisa, NP and follow up correspondence. She is very thorough and I am learning that their health plans are quite individualized and specific to each person needs! this company is very caring, and swift in assisting you with your health needs. I have spent years of Gastro-Intestinal discomfort. Very hard for me to find things at this stage that I can eat without causing pain. I received immediate diet plans, adjustments to my current medication’s and supplements. My testing kits and lab orders were sent to me immediately. I am hoping and praying that I find solutions. I know it will take time and a change of diet, but it will be worth it.

Doesn’t rush to antibiotics and tries all natural antibiotics first like oil of Oregano or Silver. She had so much wisdom and guidance for us. She knows her stuff! She has delt with serious diseases like Lyme and Epstein Barr. Has test for heavy metals and mold. She knows how to detox them out of a child if they test positive. Fantastic experience: I took my toddler to see Tiffany and she was absolutely wonderful!! I could tell she really cares about her patients and she is knowledgeable, kind, and patient. The only thing I could possibly complain about is there isn’t more doctors like her! I would suggest arriving early to your appointment in case maps takes you around to the other side of the building like it did for us. So you have optimal time to find it. Otherwise I highly recommend going to see them! They also see adults as well as children. All the staff were very kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The staff answered all my questions and actually gave me answer to my problem. I went in for concerns an out my thyroid as I’m getting old I’m more tired and my moods are a bit snippy. Every one was friendly and listened to my concerns. They ordered more in depth test to get to the root cause. I look forward to the follow up to find out more answers then my PCP failed to provide me.

Fantastic experience: After years of arguing with incompetent doctors who work for the system and who tell you "don't Google anything", it was such an unbelievable relief to finally talk to someone who is on the same page about preventive care and researching new things and who actually want to help fix you and not just put you on meds for the rest of your life. In our experience it's been difficult to find a pediatrician that sees us, as the parents, being the best advocates for our children. Tiffany doesn't come in trying to tell us what to do or whats best for our children. She's very supportive and incredibly knowledgeable. She lays out the information and her suggestion but ultimately let's you decide what the next steps are. So grateful to have found this place. Fantastic experience: Our 2.5 year old daughter has been battling eczema for most of her life now and we have tried everything through conventional medicine and nothing has worked. So we found Roots Medical and I just instantly feel at peace knowing that they are passionate about finding the root cause of a condition and finding natural, safe ways to help your body heal the way it was created to. We loved their offices and environment. Very peaceful and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. And Dr Bartlett spent over an hour talking with us to get our daughter’s entire history. I never felt rushed or cut off. They also don’t suggest any unnecessary testing because they want to help keep your costs down. I really appreciated that. I am encouraged by my experience at Roots and am anxious to continue working with them as we do whatever we can to help our daughter heal! I highly recommend Roots!

Negative experience: We are so happy to have found a fantastic pediatrician for our child. Everyone at the practice was extremely kind and helpful. We highly recommend! Update - Unfortunately I need to update my review… We had our first appointment on 7/1/24. Our doctor (Tiffany Bartlett) was fantastic, everything we were hoping to find in a pediatrician for our new baby. Our issues have solely been with the front desk/billing. We were told the first appointment would not be run through insurance and we would pay out of pocket. So I was surprised when I saw my insurance was charged for the appointment as well. We called Matt (front desk) and we were refunded the billed insurance amount (after a somewhat questionable explanation). We then called the office on 7/21/24 to make a last minute appointment for our child because we thought something was wrong with her leg and we wanted a doctor’s opinion. Once we realized the swelling had gone down on its own, we called on 7/22/24 right as they opened at 8:03am and they didn’t answer, got a call back at 8:18am. We explained that the swelling had gone down and we no longer needed the appointment. We confirmed it was okay to cancel, and even offered to pay a fee if needed. Fast forward to 9/3/24, we thought we had an appointment at 1pm, which actually turned out to be at 11am. We then received emails that we had been discharged as a client at 11:40am. We are absolutely aware this was our mistake and were willing to pay whatever fee was associated for the missed appointment. We called right away and spoke to Matt again, and were told that they needed to consider if we were even able to come back as patients. Not only was Matt making this decision without consulting our doctor, but he was also giving us word salad in regards to future billing and (knowing their worth) when it came to what they were charging patients. The conversation was wildly unprofessional, and when we asked Matt to repeat his previous statement his words were never the same. The last thing anyone wants to feel is that they’re being grifted by the front desk of their pediatricians office. We are new parents and we’re so happy to have found Tiffany. It is extremely upsetting that by making a mistake on one appointment time that we were told they were considering removing our baby as a patient. We did extensive research to find a doctor that we felt comfortable with. To then be told by the front desk (Matt) that we weren’t paying enough and it was easier for the office to discharge us was completely unprofessional. Requests to speak with our pediatrician directly have been denied, so unfortunately it appears that due to a front desk employee on a power trip we will be forced to find a new pediatrician for our baby.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough positive about Roots Medical. They are extremely proactive and it is evident that they genuinely care about their patients. During my appt, Larissa patiently answered all of my questions. Some discoveries that were made were extremely helpful to my overall daily health. Thank you, again, Roots Medical!
