Fantastic experience: I had herniated disc in S1 and L5, the L5 herniation was causing severe sciatica that interrupted my life and my favorite activities. Dr. Yusupov recommended a laminectomy and informed me that I should feel better rather quickly, allowing me to return to my normal life. I am now going on 4 months post surgery and I have my life back. I am back doing everything I was doing before the surgery.

Fantastic experience: Had surgery replaced my Stimultor now for the big one my neck it came out so far so good Dr Valdez is the best I think he fixed me no pain but surgical pain I thought that would fix my back i can't walk far without pain in the upper part of my back. Dr Valdez said I need surgery to fix it once u start messing with the spine and rods u go all the way up well this hopefully will be the last of the surgeries on my back rods from l5-S1 to cervical I hope and pray to God I will be able to walk far again I'm a walker 8 love to hike walk my dog and I have walked in 1 night from mesa to Tempe to Chandler one big circle took all night it was well worth the walk would love to do it again. I have faith in u Dr Valdez you will get me walking far again even a block but miles would be great. About ready to do this

Negative experience: I was last seen on 3/13/2024. The doctor ordered an MRI. Got MRI done, results were sent to this practice and no one has called to schedule a follow up. So I decided to schedule myself. No one has returned my calls or even replied to my emails. When you've been suffering for four months and get treatment like this - it's time to move on. Next!

Fantastic experience: Great experience, for as good as going to doctor can be. From booking with Alex to meeting with the PA & doctor. Every person I interacted was kind, sympathetic and attentive. I was not rushed through the process. It feels like this is a team that genuinely cares about getting people back to good. Dr. Yusopov and his team were VERY thorough in their questions relating to my chronic pain. If you're one of the lucky ones who have dealt with chronic pain, you know how difficult it is to articulate what hurts and when... Everything hurts and Everywhere!! #amIright He explained to me in helpful detail what other surgeons failed to - I've seen 3. He was patient as I worked through my questions (sometimes out loud and nonsensical) As a result he helped me be able to get to the main source of my pain and I am confident following the path he recommended will lead to a positive outcome (NO MORE CHRONIC PAIN!!). I am so grateful I have ended up here and am looking forward to the hopefully short and pain free journey ahead. HIGHLY recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this orthopedic specialist for rotator cuff surgery. Dr. Saithna was able to repair my damage with less intrusive arthroscopic surgery. A few small entry points; damage all cleaned up; patches in place and I was done in a little over an hour. Two weeks post-op I am in PT and regaining use and strength.

Fantastic experience: The atmosphere of the office is outstanding! The wait time to be taken back to exam room was short and the exam and review of the MRI was thorough. It was nice not to sit in a crowded waiting room ( I was the only person in there & taken back to exam room before I could sit down) In short: the entire office was spotless and the staff, including the doctor,were very polite and professional. Fantastic experience: Dr. Yusopov is an amazing surgeon. He listens, he doesn't make you feel rushed, his knowledge is extensive, and he clearly cares about his patients and does the best for him. If he doesn't think surgery is warranted, he'll advise you not to do it, which is unlike a lot of surgeons who just want an excuse to cut. On top of this, his front office staff is amazing. Fantastic experience: I had a full rotator cuff tear that Dr. Saithna repaired for me on April 24, 2023. Yesterday I had my final post op check up. I am very pleased with my experience with Dr. Saithna and his staff. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Saithna from our very first meeting, he was warm and professional. He gave me a lot of confidence with his knowledge. Almost six months after my surgery, I can say that Dr. Saithna's confidence and knowledge is completely supported by his skill as a surgeon. Negative experience: The practice is neat but the surgeon I saw Dr Adnan could not hide how much he doesn’t care nor understand what I was going through. His body language and and how he roll his eyes was irritating and he was in a hurry to be out of room. It is bad enough that you are going through something but it is worse when the one who ought to be the professional acts so unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Dr. Saithna really took the time to evaluate my complete ACL tear and explain all my options. He even showed me 2 different techniques, that take less than 5 minutes, to implement in my therapy that neither of my 2 therapists have shown me while being in therapy for over 5 months. I was so impressed with his bedside manner and professional knowledge. I am considering having my ACL repaired and I could nit feel any more confident in a doctor after one visit than I did with him. Negative experience: I completely regret trusting this office with my care. The entire staff with the exception of my doctor and the surgery scheduler have been a complete and total nightmare. They made homophobic remarks, made fun of me, refused to run my secondary insurance, did not pre authorize my post care medication leaving me without what I needed. I have been brought to tears multiple occasions because of their complete and total lack of empathy. Due to their lack of communication skills and kindness my care has suffered. The billing office a woman named Mel said they definitely don't have any nonbinary people working for them then laughed hysterically. She clearly thought her homophobia was funny. The office manager brought me to tears after refusing to run my secondary insurance saying it could take days to know if my secondary insurance would be accepted. She also told me it was not their job to understand the insurance, I chose it. Even though the surgery schedule ran it in 10 minutes after I emailed her because I was thinking of pulling out of my surgery because the office had been so unkind. She ran my insurance in 10 minutes and said nothing was owed. I believe is was a discrimination based upon my secondary insurance. The MA told me she doesn't know where I keep my money but she doesn't typically keep hers up her butt. The surgery went well but my after care has been horrible as well. The office did not bother pre authorizing my after care medication. Which was literally just filling out a paper for my insurance saying they would be prescribing me pain medication after surgery. The pharmacy said it should have been done pre surgery. Because they didn't do that I have been unable to fill all of my post care medication and have had to suffer through the pain post surgery. The doctor ended up sending naproxen which is an anti inflammatory and takes several days to build up in your system to provide relief. However until it builds up it provides zero relief and I am unable to sleep at night. The doctor I saw here was very kind and completely unaware of how I was treated until post surgery. Despite that my post care needs still where left untreated. The doctor I saw here is leaving for another state permanently in a few weeks so I would never recommend this office to anyone. I am two weeks post op and still have a follow up in two more weeks. Honestly i can't wait till I am healed so I never have to go to this office again. If you wanted to be treated as a person and not a bag of money they can claim insurance on then choose a different place. In my experience they do not value your health, time, or you as a person.

Fantastic experience: Being someone who is used to having a spine doctor in my life, I was very fearful when I moved here to Arizona and had to leave the one I had been with for many years in Florida with. Fortunately I found Dr. Yusupov and his team here where I feel comfortable with his assessments and the direction that my treatment is going. Not only is Dr. Yusopov chock full of knowledge but his surrounding staff is some of the most attentive that I have worked with. Fantastic experience: Absolutely one of the best decisions to work with Dr Scarcella. Not only did he make me feel at ease, made my surgery far less uncomfortable than I had anticipated but my scars and recovery has been a lot better than what I have heard about others. My incisions were put together with the surgery glue and they have healed very nicely. I am just so very grateful that he was my surgeon.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience at Dr. Scarcella’s office is wonderful. I was greeted by name when I entered the office. I was checked in immediately & told I would be taken back shortly. Fantastic experience: I wasn't having a good experience with my other Ortho doctor and while I was at PT the fella I was working with suggested I see Dr. Adnan Saithna. Wow! Dr. Saithna, listened to what I had been through and was extremely thorough in his exam and answered all my questions. Not only did he help me but he also found a better way to help me heal. As someone who has been in and out of the Ortho for many broken bones, seen far too many Othros, I can tell you he's one of the best I've been able to see here in the valley.

Fantastic experience: AZBSC and Doctor Yusupov are amazing! From my first experience in 2017 I was impressed and grateful with his skill and the fact that he listened. He discovered a very serious condition after a car accident that others had missed! He fixed the issue and that area of my spine has been fine ever since. I have other spine issues and he is the only surgeon I would trust!

Fantastic experience: I had a major problem with my back where it left me not even able to use the bathroom couldn’t walk in extreme pain been to many hospitals and nobody did anything about it was referred to when I call him my doctor God because he said I had been able to walk again and as soon as I had surgery not a need for one pain pill nothing I was able to almost do everything that I was able to do before the surgery. I highly recommend him I don’t need you to take his time with me, but he had me understand everything I had to have done and how to strengthen my back afterwards a true doctor there’s not many of them left

Fantastic experience: I have received excellent patient care from Dr. Saithna and his support team for surgery on my knee. The underling problem was explained and shown with MRI images. Options were given. My pain scale was up to 9 at times before surgery and never above 3 post op. If I have another orthopedic issue Dr. Saithna is definitely the doctor I wish to see. Thanks again. Fantastic experience: Dr Adnan did a great job! I came in with a what turned out to be an unusual knee issue. (Hurt my knee training for an Olympic track trial.) He carefully examined my knee did the normal twists, turns and movements eliminating the normal possibilities e.g. meniscus, tendon issues etc. He gave me a shot which did relieve the issue (up to this time ~ 24hrs) and scheduled me for a MRI and PT. So far so good.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Saithna is great! He clearly explained what he saw on my X-ray and my options to achieve the best recovery result. He also took the time to show me a couple of exercises that would build up the strength in the muscles supporting my knee until I could get into physical therapy. I also appreciate the texts with his staff regarding logistics of appointment and insurance to prevent all the phone calls back and forth that typically occur.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed by the compassionate care I received on my first visit. From the receptionist to the nurses, and finally to the doctor, everything I experienced made me feel as if I had come to the right place. She took her personal evening time to help me reschedule my appointment when the doctor was called to report for jury duty. They both came in on a Saturday to accommodate their patients. That's going above and beyond. Dr. Yusupov and his staff come highly recommended by other surgeons in the field. I was actually sent to him by the VA hospital and I feel so very lucky and blessed!

Fantastic experience: Dr Saithna and his team are excellent. I had a previous right knee meniscus tear I knew what treatment was. This time the left knee meniscus needed treatment. Dr Saithna was clear in communicating. Used the latest techniques and helped me get back to my sport. Very different experience than my previous treatment and improved recovery time. Nothing but my highest recommendations.

Positive experience: I was almost completely happy with my experience here everything was amazing truly till after my surgery now I feel dumped aside I was told certain things then the next appointment what was serious was all a sudden nothing that has left me feeling unsure and lost trust .

From the time I walked into the office until I walked out of the office everybody was exceptionally nice and cheerful and professional. Dr. Scarcella was a great doctor who was recommended by my daughter-in-law. He is one of the best orthopedic surgeons that I have had the pleasure of seeing. Dr. Scarcella is a conservative doctor. I was pleased with his assessment, and decided to go with conservative treatment which he thought was my best option. He is a wonderful surgeon and diagnostician.

Fantastic experience: I had two microdisectomies in March 2023. I had previously had surgery from another Dr in 2005. This experience was so different. The pain was minimal. The following day after surgery I walked a mile with my husband. I was off any pain medication in 3 days and I am completely recovered. The office staff was very professional and knowledgable.
