WIC
WIC de Torrance es un programa diseñado para ofrecer apoyo esencial a mujeres, infantes y niños. Si estás esperando un bebé, has estado embarazada en los últimos seis meses, o cuidas a un niño menor de cinco años, podrías calificar para recibir beneficios. Los servicios de WIC son completamente gratuitos e incluyen alimentos saludables, clases de nutrición y consejería, así como apoyo para la lactancia.
Los beneficios alimentarios se cargan mensualmente en una tarjeta de débito electrónica que puedes usar en tiendas de comestibles que aceptan WIC. Esta iniciativa está destinada a familias de bajos ingresos. Si recibes Medi-Cal, CalFresh, o cupones de alimentos, cumples con los requisitos de ingresos.

Hi Emma E, yes, we are happy to help our WIC families between the hours of 9:30am-11:30am & 2:30pm-4:30pm, even without an appointment. (Except for Wed. & Fri. morning.) Thank you for coming in!

Hi Lupes World, this is the WIC program. I would only take the credit for our Torrance WIC office but we have been closed the due to the pandemic. But if you did come to our office, we are happy to hear that the staff treated you with respect. Thank you for taking the time to tell us about it.
