Experiencia negativa: Before this place shifted focus more towards treating depression and mental health with ketamine, it was a functional medicine practice touting the ability to help you figure out your health issues and reclaim your life. I had a mostly decent experience with one of the practitioners (she misdiagnosed me, but came to me a few days later and owned it). But when she left, Ashley’s negligence in responding to me in a timely manner about a medication I was on caused a snowball effect that put me into a health crisis I have yet to fully recover from two years later. This could have easily been avoided had she not taken weeks to get back to me (after several years as a compliant patient who had paid Nourish thousands of dollars). I ended up having two undiagnosed chronic illnesses as well as undiagnosed autism and nobody at that practice picked up on any of it. When confronted at the time, Ashley was dismissive, terse, and shifted blame. I have delayed posting this review because I don’t like to complain and I feared retribution at a pivotal moment when I desperately needed the local medical community’s help. However, I feel strongly that making others aware that Ashley Mannell is not necessarily the caring and professional practitioner you are seeking is the right thing to do. I do not recommend entrusting her with your health. Mental or otherwise. Wishing positive resolutions for anyone who is searching for relief and may read this. You’re never alone! Keep advocating for yourself and don’t let anyone gaslight you into thinking you don’t know your own body or aren’t worthy of the best available care.

In the past year, they were able to pinpoint and diagnose an illness that was completely missed by every other healthcare provider that I have ever seen. They are both kind and genuinely care about finding the root cause of your symptoms, both physically and mentally. It's refreshing to work with a practice who balances healing through food and supplements in addition to medication. Finding a healthcare provider who will consider and execute both approaches to wellness has been amazing.

Experiencia positiva: This office has a very holistic approach, which is great. It is hard to find psychiatric care in Richmond, and this office does an extraordinary job. My biggest complaint is they don't always respect your time. Appointments are always running one or two behind. So you end up being seen an hour late for a 30 minute appointment. It's incredibly frustrating when you have other commitments and actually show up on time for your appointments.
