Experiencia fantástica: Unsure i could put into words how thankful I am for Danielle and her team as one of her first five clients years ago to seeing where they are now. Bls not only saved my life but changed it and gave me the tools to find recovery for myself now almost 10 years in recovery I can not thank the bls team enough. Danielle and Amanda truly care and give everything they can to help their clients.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough good things about Danielle, Angie, and Better Living Solutions, but the most important aspect is that Danielle truly cares about the clients and takes a wholistic approach to wellness and Angie works tirelessly to accommodate the needs of BLS clients. While Better Living does help with eating disorder recovery, they offer comprehensive therapeutic services and are able to accommodate complex issues, so I highly recommend BLS regardless of need. Danielle is highly skilled at addressing complex situations and works towards conflict resolution and healing. If you are researching therapeutic options in Tallahassee, BLS is the solution. I highly recommend making an appointment.

Experiencia negativa: I would give it a zero if I could. After going to another marriage counselor I realized what a poor, counterproductive job they actually did here. I told the counselor that I had PTSD in a specific situation and the very first chance they got, they put me there, causing a panic attack. The counselor dressed in all black with black painted nails for whatever reason. That's just unprofessional. I don't care what anyone has to say about it. You cannot convince me that it is in any way professional for a counselor to dress like that for work, especially when trying to come to happy solutions. I have it in my mind that she was there to break our marriage up. Not help us fix it like we asked. Zero starts, immature, disrespectful of boundaries even when explained that I had diagnosed PTSD. Stay away if you want to save your marriage.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is very nice (the title is rather misleading - it is not just for eating disorder recovery), and we had wonderful experience with Mindi Rojas who helped my child tremendously. I've never thought about Art Therapy, and we got there by accident, but thanks to Mindi it showed how effective it can be for a little kid who was shy to speak up. I cannot appreciate enough her professionalism, support, and the result. It is on the higher side price-wise, but if you can afford it it's really worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: There are not enough amazing things I can say about better living solutions. I have never been to a place that truly cares SO MUCH about their patients. Nari and Christy have changed my life and helped me overcome a lot. Even with the move to online because of the pandemic, everyone has been so flexible, supportive, and accommodating. I have grown so much because of the wonderful people here and I recommend BLS to anyone who is struggling.

Experiencia negativa: I hate to complain but I don't want anyone to waste time contacting this place if they're not even applicable to receive services. I just had a tremendous loss and believe that I could benefit from the integrative services Better Living solutions offer. The staff were pretty nice but told me that the one therapist who takes CHP is no longer taking clients (why don't all therapist take chp?). This wouldn't have been a deal breaker if their prices weren't so high, however. Depending on how 'good' a therapist is, intake is in the $200 range and regular sessions after that is over $100 per 60 minute session. I understand people need to be paid, but this is outrageous. The cheapest route they had is group therapy but even that is $40-55 per session. Come on. People are really hurting out here. Better Living Solutions, I am respectfully calling you out because the mental and physical health communities need to work on their accessibility to the general public.

Experiencia fantástica: If it wasn't for Better Living Solutions, my sister would not be alive today. BLS has provided her with the treatment to combat the eating disorder and depression she has battled for half of her life. She finally has the will combined with the necessary support and encouragement to become eating disorder symptom free. My family cannot be grateful enough to Danielle Shelton and the BLS family for helping my sister learn to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
