Experiencia fantástica: I've been a member here under Noah's training for about three months and have seen great changes! Noah really listened to my goals at our initial consultation and from the first session and every session since, he has shown in his words and what we've done that he listened and has my goals in mind the whole way. He is very encouraging as well through the process. I have never trained with Ashley but am training with Noah while she is training others, and I always hear her encouraging her students and at times encouraging me as well. I would 100% recommend Academy of Athletics and either Ashley or Noah.

Experiencia fantástica: Academy of Athletics provides a 10/10 personal training experience. The gym itself has every doohickey you can imagine to see real gains in your overall health and stamina-- promoting connective tissue growth just as much as targets. The owner Ashley is a wonderful trainer. Her plans will challenge you and if they don't she will sense it and make it so, even on a session-to-session basis. You won't get bored either as they are incredibly varied movements while still targeting what they need to. She is almost too flexible and accommodating regarding scheduling, willing to work with you and get you in despite every single one of your BS excuses for not showing up. She is also a genuinely good person-- caring not only about your physical goals and development, but YOU in general while still maintaining a professional distance. AoA regularly holds special events, classes, and boot camps in an attempt to trick your brain into thinking moving will be fun next weekend. Beware checking your email or you might be in the gym unexpectedly very soon. There are plenty of yummy powders, bars, and supplements for sale that help immensely with recovery and meeting macros. I have never loved, hell, craved a protein powder post-workout until I tried one recommended by Ashley. I crashed my car this summer and unfortunately had to postpone my personal training goals, but I can't wait to be back. This place has such a comfortable and growth-focused atmosphere they forget to advertise it. After trying several gym memberships over the years and hating the vibes at all of them, I can't recommend this place enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Such an awesome gym! Unfortunately, we only got to do the one week trial. We used the gym equipment on our own, did a group boot camp workout, and a kickboxing lesson there. Ashley was super friendly, fun, and motivating. We felt very welcome into the gym and there was very good energy. She continued to check in and follow up during the trial and never once did it feel invasive - it was always a pleasant conversation - no used car tactics, no fluff. Jeff Powell is the kickboxing coach there and he is also a super great guy. The kickboxing lesson was engaging, informative, and moderately intense. He offered a lot of guidance and was very approachable about it. Both training experiences here felt awesome. All the staff is friendly, customer service good, and the equipment is nice and clean (not common for a strength and conditioning gym). Overall, we would have loved to sign up, but when we started our trial we didn't realize how far away it is. Unfortunately too far of a drive for us, but we wanted to leave this review in gratitude of being able to check out the experience. Would highly recommend checking this gym out if you're interested in HIIT style workouts, functional training, athletic training, quality kickboxing, or even just being apart of a cool, motivating group. The worst you have to lose is a free trial.

I was nervous about going to a gym and starting a new workout program as I didnt know what to expect, and I wasn't very confident in my fitness level. From the very first consultation, I felt so welcomed. Ashley accommodates you no matter if you have been coming to the gym for a long time, or have never stepped foot in one. She encourages you and is transparent on your progress. I always look forward to coming in for my personal training sessions and I consider everyone, from staff to members, family. I love AOA! I always recommend them to anyone looking for a gym. Pricing is decent as well. I am so happy with my progress and only wish I had started sooner. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Experiencia fantástica: If you’re looking to better your health, strength and even mental wellbeing, I couldn’t recommend Ashley and AOA enough. They are highly trained and qualified to help with your physical goals and are challenging but encouraging. I drove from North Chattanooga each weekend for classes and it was well worth it! Skip the big gyms and head down to AOA!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a (family) member of Academy of Athletics for 6 years and I absolutely love the place! Ashley does a great job keeping the workouts fun and challenging. She changes them up day to day, week to week and month to month so you never get bored or feel stuck in a rut. She also sets the workouts so that each member can work at their level. Everyone at AOA from the staff to the members are extremely encouraging. AOA is a phenomenal place to work out. Come check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Experiencia fantástica: This place has been a huge game changer in my physical health and well-being. I've tried CrossFit, HEW, and other types of gyms but have never been so personally cared for and coached. I'm a skinny guy with a small build and other gyms just threw me into the mix and expected me to "bulk up" eventually. Noah has helped me work through a "slow and steady", personalized fitness process, including helpful nutritional/dietary coaching.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been training with Noah for over 5 years and it's one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Working out does not come naturally to me, but the skill and kindness of the coaches here has really helped me with my fitness goals. I do strength training twice a week and have noticed a major improvement in how I feel physically and mentally. Their group classes also wonderful, as are the owners, Ashley and Daniel. Highly recommend!
