Experiencia fantástica: Urban Health has a Wonderful office staff & epic Doctors Staff Dr's Gonzales .. Moreno ... & Malika .. thank you for the great care in 2024

Experiencia negativa: Scheduled an appt, and the appt was a month out. I understand that appts are hard to come by so whatever. Appt day, I arrive a couple mins early, and they tell me my provider is not a tier one on my insurance so I call to verify, and my insurance confirms what the woman said so I go up to pay the $55 copay and then I’m told my appt can’t be honored. My appt was at 3:30, I finished paper work at 3:40 and called the insurance and walked back up to the front desk at 3:50, and was turned away to be seen. I’m shocked that they are okay doing this.

Experiencia negativa: This has been my primary for about three years now. Had no issues when making appointments for my yearly, but when I became sick and needed to visit the doctor ASAP, it’s ridiculous that I could not get in for two-three weeks and they were referring patients to the Centra Care. Not only have I had issues with this office, but many family members have had issues as well. Will be looking for a new primary doctor.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had some frustrating times with the billing department in the past. A few of those times I was noticeably aggravated by the situation. Ms. Charity, despite mine or anyone else’s unprofessional actions she always chose kindness. Her customer service is 5 stars!

Experiencia negativa: Poor patient service. If you are sick, the office cannot see you due to their protocol, it has to be by camera and make an appointment. To what extent has the health system and palliative care of the patient changed.

Experiencia negativa: I never saw the doctor or even got an appointment, so this is more a review of the office. I called to set up a new appointment, waited for 15 minutes, and then someone picked up but wasn't talking to me. In the background, they were talking to someone else. Then after about 15 more minutes, they hung up on me without ever saying a word. Please don't take this as a reflection of the level of care available at this office because as I said, I don't know that. But in a PCP office, I'm looking for people who put ME first. I called another office in town and someone picked up right away.

Experiencia negativa: El Dr. Moreno es el peor doctor que he visto en mi vida. Mi Dr. es el Dr. González. Es muy bueno. Me dieron la cita con el Dr. Moreno porque Gonzalez no tenía espacio. El Dr. Moreno entró, no saludó y solo me dijo usted tiene todo degenerativo. Eso no tiene cura y debe ir a terapia física. Eso es todo y ya se iba a ir. Le dije hola usted miro mi récord. Tengo un tumor en el cerebro y Cervical Dystonia necesito un nuevo referido. A penas quería escucharme. No me dejaba hablar. Por mi insistencia miro mi récord. El no estaba orientado en nada. No tiene vocación, ni empatía, ni respeto. Viaje 45 minutos y perdí mi tiempo. No prestaba atención, no sabe escuchar, no se prepara ni lee el expediente. No tiene compromiso y responsabilidad con la vida de sus pacientes. Jamás había visto una falta de ética profesional tan grande. Jamás había visto un servicio tan deficiente con la salud. En fin, el Dr. Moreno no está apto para tratar con seres humanos. El Vet de mi mascota tiene más amor que el. Me vio por primera vez y nunca me miro a la cara, ni para saludar o mostrar interés en mi salud. Pena me da de los ancianos o personas que tengan condiciones más severas. Imagínate que caigan en manos de un doctor así. Puede enviarle un medicamento erróneo o que pueda contraindicar con algún otro medicamento. Pues si no lee los expedientes de los pacientes, el riesgo es muy grande. Definitivamente Dr. Moreno solo tuvo buena capacidad para memorizar en la escuela y completar los exámenes y clases. Pero todo lo demás que debe tener un doctor no existe en el. He visto personas que estudian la salud, enfermeria y medicina. Tienen amor, pasión, vocación, empatía etc. y porque se ponen nerviosos o no pueden memorizar todos los conceptos, fallan en los exámenes y no pueden ejercer la profesión, después de haber estudiado tanto. Si los exámenes fueran prácticos y no de memoria podrían pasarlos. Pero en este mundo seguimos evaluando solo la memoria para un examen. Y por eso tenemos tantos profesionales deficientes. Mientras que los que tienen todas las características buenas para la profesión, se caen en la memorización y no pueden avanzar. Cuando tiene el corazón y la excelencia en el servicio para ayudar a otros. Si diéramos los exámenes prácticos en las escuelas de salud todo sería mejor. No creo en esos exámenes en la computadora que solo miden la memoria. El que no puede memorizar falla, aunque tengan todo lo demás. Exámenes prácticos con pacientes reales es lo que se debe evaluar. Espero esto ayude algún paciente que no pase esta experiencia.

Experiencia negativa: Wow... thought I was on the right path with finding a new primary, until I got sick and they would only see me via telahealth. I didn't think too much about it, until it became 2:15 which is when I am writing this now and my appointment was at 10:15am. Took my co-pay at 10:32am over the phone, nurse called at 11:13am to collect info, someone called at 11:58am to say "hey the Dr has called and left messages", no missed calls or messages. Called at 12:20pm to find out what was going on, was told a nurse would call me back. Called back at 1:42pm, was put on hold and hung up on. Called back AGAIN at 2:10pm finally to leave a voicemail. Ridiculous. Great first experience, but can't rely on a medical provider to essentially "leave me in their waiting room" for 4 HOURS!!

Experiencia negativa: My parents had an appointment at 4pm, they usually get a phone call to confirm their appointment, which they didn't this time. They arrived to their appointment less than 10 minutes late and they were told they were not going to be seen. No where in their waiting area does it state that late patients will not be seen or might not be seen. Other places might have you wait or they clearly give you a window, like 15 minutes. This to me is unacceptable especially when different circumstances can come up sometimes.

Especially, since I like to try a more natural approach to my healing and try to avoid pharmaceutical drugs, he is willing to work with me and monitor my progress without making me feel guilty or pressuring me to go the more modern way. He is a partner in my health journey and I appreciate that he celebrates my efforts and success.

Experiencia negativa: Just avoid coming to this practice and choose another provider in Clermont. I came in for an appointment as a new patient over a concern of a bump in my tongue and swollen lymph node. Dr. Gonzales came in and did nothing, I mean literally nothing, other than shine a light in the back of my mouth to briefly look at the bump. Then he proceeded to tell me it’s “probably” from acid reflux. He did not feel my lymph nodes to confirm if they were swollen or not and he pretty much turned our entire 5 minutes interaction into my concerns stemming from anxiety and prescribed me an anxiety medication and acid reflux medication. I wasn’t referred to a specialist over the obvious bump growing on the back of my tongue. When I had a telehealth appointment set for a few days later about the results of my blood work I waited 25 minutes past the time of my appointment and finally had to call the office myself and ask if they had forgotten about my appointment. 10 minutes later got a call back from one of the nurses who literally laughed on the phone when I told her it was like they forgot they had a telehealth appointment. I don’t appreciate not being taken seriously. I don’t appreciate being rushed during my appointment with the doctor. These doctors get paid WAY to much to run a practice this way. Patients should be taken seriously and made to feel like their concerns are being listened to. Also was charged a $25 co-pay which is fine and was expected but they also tried to charge me an additional $25 just to give me my results of my blood work over the phone. Not ok.

She’s an amazing Dietitian, who specializes in Gastritis and was exactly what I was looking for. She is a breath of fresh air in the medical practice, overdelivers in her services, and an expert in the industry. Together, we’ve made huge leaps in healing my gut through food & bowel movement journaling, assessing which foods agree/don’t agree and other alternatives to medication for a holistic approach. Hands down, amazing and highly recommended for anyone who wants to optimize their health. Thank you Wendimere.

Experiencia negativa: The worst medical office I have ever been to is this practice, how is it possible that they charge me $150 for a consultation where the doctor takes only two minutes with me to ask me a couple of questions that I had already answered to the nurse and tell me that he doesn’t know which specialist to send me to? I work with the health field and I had never seen that a doctor had such a comfortable position and little interest in helping the patient; a good health professional seeks through his knowledge to help the patient in the first place but it seems that $150 is not enough for this Dr Moreno to do his job.
