Dr. Carlos Pardo, a Colombian physician and Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in 2010, graduated from prestigious institutions like Universidad del Valle (Cali, Col) and Florida Inter-National University (Miami, USA). With over 30 years of experience in healthcare, Dr. Pardo founded CaliMed Wellness Center in Plantation, FL, in 2019. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners (FANP), and United States Colombian Medical Association (USCMA). Dr. Pardo is certified in Hormone Replacement Therapies, IV Nutrition, and Chelation Therapies, along with being a Commercial Driver Medical Examiner (DOT) and certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). He holds a DEA Number, allowing him to prescribe controlled substances in Florida and Massachusetts.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Pardo has been a blessing on the road to restoring my health. The office staff are always kind and wonderful and Dr. Pardo is a genuine savior. I never feel rushed, he remembers every detail of our visits, and I can get in quickly without waiting for days or weeks or months via a teleconference video call from anywhere I am. CaliMed Wellness Center is a true rare gem, they've treated every referral I've sent them with as much kindness and attention to their wellness needs as they have me. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Pardo and his office to anyone seeking a full service functional doctor. He's nearly cured me. A legion of other local specialists cost me a fortune, took months to complete multiple batteries of tests, appointments were always months away from the date one was requested or referred by one specialist after another, and none did anything to help or improve my health. I nearly died. Dr. Pardo listened, asked questions, diagnosed, is treating me, and I'm well on the road to 100% cured. I'm lucky and i'm grateful

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I had such a great experience coming into CaliMed for some much needed vitamin shots! The office and staff were so friendly and helpful. The office was immaculate and the service was impeccable. It was my first time receiving vitamin shots and Dr. Pardo explained all of the benefits and details to me to make sure I was comfortable and informed on the products I would be taking. They offer a huge variety of products and services to ensure great health of their patients. I’ll definitely be back in the future for an IV or more shots. Dr. Pardo was amazing as he took his time to learn about me and my reasons for the visit. The office was clean, welcoming, and soothing. The music playing in the background was my favorite. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I had a wonderful experience at CaliMed Wellness Center. I always felt very comfortable, from Yuliana, the receptionist, to Anayancy, the medical assistant, to Dr. Pardo inserting the Nexplanon implant in my arm. I had discussed ways to alleviate my heavy period with Dr. Pardo and he recommended the Nexplanon implant as one of the best options. I was very nervous to have the Nexplanon implant inserted, but I'm glad I did it. Together, Dr. Pardo and Anayancy made sure it was a painless procedure. I had my appointment yesterday and I've already made Dr. Pardo my primary physician. I recommend coming to CaliMed Wellness Center even if you have to make a longer drive, because there's no place like it. Thank you for the wonderful experience to all of the staff. Update: The 1st photo is of my arm two days after the procedure. Update: The 2nd photo is of my arm two weeks after the procedure.
How pleasant it is to hear that your personal experience at CaliMed was very good. NEXPLANON IMPLANT is not only a fantastic method for contraception but also helps many women with abundant and sometimes painful menstrual periods. What many ladies don't know is that.... NEXPLANON IMPLANT insertion is a painless procedure done in the non dominant upper arm during a 5-minute session with local anesthesia. NO DOWNTIME is required and you can have it done during your lunch hour!!! 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Dr Carlos Pardo don't cease to impress me. Two days ago in the evening started to feel really bad with chills, sweating, some fever, pain all over my body, headache, nausea, joint paint and more. Yesterday I went to Cleveland Clinic first and they did nothing. In the afternoon I went to MHS Emergency and other that a pain medicine shot, nothing. A lot of blood samples for lab test, EKG, and no results. I leave like around 5pm and went to Calimed Wellness Center. Dr Pardo immediately started a treatment to improve the symptoms and around an hour later I was feeling much better. Today I wake up tired, but no more pain, no more nausea, no fever, no chills. Apparently there is a virus called OROPUCHE, transmitted by mosquitos and idntified by CDC that big clinics don't care about. Thank you again Dr. Pardo and staff.

Las chicas del front desk son extremadamente amables y diligentes, las enfermeras son excelentes y el Doctor Carlos Pardo el mejor doctor que en mi vida me ha atendido. Jamas un Doctor me había explicado los resultados de los laboratorios tan detallados y con tanto énfasis que lo se debe corregir y el porque de todo referente a mi salud. Lo recomiendo al 1000% , si quieres tener un medico de familia con humanidad , experiencia, amabilidad y sentirte bien tratado tienes que venir a Calimed. Son los mejores de la florida.

Been wanting to do this for years and couldn’t find someone who would go near my eye to remove a bad skin tag that was on my eye lid. Would highly recommend this Dr. and all his staff was very nice .

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Estoy muy satisfecha con el servicio del Dr Pardo y su personal, pense que iva por una visita rutinaria, un examen de sangre luego mas recetas, y mas pastiyas. Estoy muy complasida con el interes personal que resivo. Desde que empese con el tratamiento de las hormonas duermo mejor, tengo mucha energia, mas consetracion y lo mejor de todo no sintomas de la menopausia. Me siento SUPER. Se lo recomiendo no se arenpentira.
Que bonito testimonio le está compartiendo a todas aquellas mujeres que como usted están pasando por esa molesta etapa de la MENOPAUSIA, donde afloran síntomas tan desagradables como la falta de energía, cansancio, dificultad para concentrarse, problemas de sueño, ganancia de peso (principalmente en el área del abdomen), gran dificultad para perder peso, piel reseca, pobre lubricación vaginal, bajo deseo sexual, caída del cabello. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I live in Ohio and have found Dr. Pardo to be extremely knowledgeable, effective and kind during my last 2 telehealth sessions. It is so easy to schedule and get in quickly especially when I had Covid. He offers great holistic solutions to the issue and doesn't just push drugs to help heal. I was able to get my script called in within 30min! How amazing!!! The office staff, especially Yasmin, has been incredibly helpful and quick to offer great service all around. I wish I lived closer to them so I could take full advantage of all their services. These days it is hard to find this kind of high quality care from providers who really do care!

Totalmente agradecidos por el acompañamiento y mejoraría notable que tuvo nuestro padre con los pallets de reemplazo hormonal con testosterona. Quiero compartir nuestro testimonio. Mi padre hombre de 82 años viene con una deficiencia cardíaca que lo llevo a perder peso, capacidad para conciliar el sueño, dolores de cabeza constante, hasta el punto que no deseaba vivir, ya que no podía retener información y su habla de volvió perezosa. I parted company with my primary care physician that I’ve used for many many years because he was unwilling to open his eyes and look at what was going on within the medical community. If a physician’s corporate policy dictates his treatment plan then he’s not my doctor. Dr.PARDO is now my primary care physician.

2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked into the office, I was warmly welcomed and didn't have to wait at all. The medical assistant who conducted my regular checkup was amazing. She was friendly, thorough, and asked me insightful questions about my health. What really impressed me was that she encouraged me to ask her three questions about my health that concerned me, so that the doctor could address them. This was fantastic because I initially thought of only two questions, but she pushed me to come up with another one. And it turned out to be a question that I had been wanting to ask for a while. Dr. Pardo really focuses on providing personalized care and attention. When I moved to his office, he took the time to ask me questions, understand my medical history, and genuinely cared about getting to know me. And most importantly, he really knows how to do his job. As someone from South America, I can confidently say that Dr. Pardo treats his patients with the same great care and dedication that I was accustomed to back home. This is an experience that I have never had in the 13 years I've lived in the United States. I am extremely happy to say that Dr. Pardo is now my doctor. I highly recommend him to anyone I know because the experience I had was truly phenomenal. I actually look forward to my next visit, which is a first for me when it comes to going to the doctor. Dr Pardo made a complete analysis about my metabolism, and gave me what I needed to start my process. And a week after jumping on the TRT/Pellets, I feel tremendously invigorated. Procedure was virtually painless. He also made several other recommendations that I needed. 5 Stars so far.
