Fantastic experience: My fiancé and I love Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Scottsdale! The whole team is so welcoming, and Mateo is the best instructor — patient, fun, and makes every lesson something to look forward to. I’ve learned so much and always leave smiling. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend suggested we go here for date night. We did their date night special and were deeply impressed. We signed up for their beginning program. Graduated a few months later and are now are few weeks away from graduating the next program. I would highly recommend Yulia and Danil they are incredibly talented and are such caring individuals. Im impressed on how far Ive personally grown as a dancer and have enjoyed watching my boyfriend’s growth as well. It wouldn’t have been possible without these amazing individuals!

Fantastic experience: My fiancée chose this dance studio so we could get practice being comfortable dancing in front of our wedding guests. We decided to go with their wedding package. You are able to sign up for that package, but you don’t have to commit to (& pay for) all 8 (I think it was) sessions. This has been very helpful for us with our budget. :) Our instructors (Natasha & Mateo) have been wonderful! Very kind & encouraging throughout the whole process. They have made us feel amazing even though we are not skilled dancers by any means. They also helped us choreograph our first dance, which we were not initially planning on doing as these lessons were just for comfort’s sake with doing something we’ve never done before. With that being said, we absolutely LOVE the dance they created for us & cannot help but strive to learn it. We have had so much fun with this & cannot wait to debut our first dance!

Fantastic experience: A really fantastic time! The instructors are kind and very knowledgeable, and the studio is really inviting and encouraging. There’s also a huge range of dances— polka, waltz, foxtrot, salsa, you name it! I wish I lived in Phoenix so that I could come all the time.

Fantastic experience: We decided to visit Fred Astaire Dance Studio for help with our first dance for our wedding and we could not have asked for a better experience!!! Every instructor there is so kind and make it feel so easy to learn all the different types of dance they teach. Our instructor Daniel was such a pleasure to work with! Plus the extra events they do are awesome

Fantastic experience: My fiancé and I came to Fred Astaire Scottsdale to learn our first dance for our wedding, and it’s honestly been one of the most special parts of our engagement. From the very beginning, Natasha made us feel so comfortable—even when we had two left feet! Her warmth, patience, and talent made every lesson something we looked forward to. Ruslan also helped bring our vision to life, and together they created a routine that felt so us—by the 3rd or 4th lesson, we had it memorized and felt so confident. What really surprised us, though, was how much more this place became than just dance lessons. The social events are full of joy, the atmosphere is so welcoming, and even the other students feel like a little community. Everyone is kind, supportive, and genuinely excited for each other’s growth—and that made such a difference. Walking in after a long day and being greeted by smiling faces who cheer you on—it became something we truly looked forward to every week. I can’t recommend this location enough. Whether it’s for your wedding, a date night, or a new hobby, this studio has a way of making you feel seen, supported, and celebrated. We came in for a wedding routine and left with beautiful memories we’ll cherish forever.

Fantastic experience: This dance studio has been amazing! My husband and I signed up for date nights, And have had such a great experience with Julia! She has taken her time to teach my husband how to lead and myself how to follow, She breaks it down into simple, easy steps for us to easily remember. Her patience is extraordinary. We have also interacted with multiple people around the studio and everyone is so nice and just provides an atmosphere of having a great time while learning something new. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about the absolute mastery coming from this group of dancers. You have world champions (literally – this is not an exaggeration) giving so much of their time to share this incredible craft with beginners and professionals alike. That statement stands true both on and off the floor. The studio is gorgeous, the instructors are phenomenal, and the group of dancers training at this particular FA are beyond welcoming and encouraging. Whether you’re coming in for a few sessions or starting a long journey into ballroom, this is where you need to be. 5 stars through and through (and then some)! Also, I've seen lots of reviews praising the beginner experience, which is true! Adding to that, though, I want to speak as a professional dancer. With instructors this artistically and technically skilled, this steeped in pedagogy, and this committed to their dancing, advanced and professional dancers have so much to learn, so much to gain, from these coaches. It’s rare to find a dance institution that excels at both beginner and advanced education – I’m beyond grateful to be a part of one that excels at both.

Fantastic experience: Family fun at Fred Astaire! It started with my daughter figure skater to enhance her grace and character on the ice. Then my awkward teenage son started taking it. He loved it from the start, and you should see his posture and carriage and confidence. Now their dance shy mother is taking classes and working on gaining my confidence on the dance floor. 50 yr old mama, 14 yr old son, and 12 yr old daughter! We love all of our coaches and staff at our studio. They are becoming our extended family!

Fantastic experience: We got a chance for a free class at Fred Astaire after attending the Arizona Bridal Show. When we arrived we were paired with Natasha who was so helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. The studio is beautiful and spacious and we got to run through some beginner dances before we agreed to move onto a wedding package. With Natasha and Oleskii’s help my fiance and I have prepared a fun, thoughtful, and meaningful dance for our first dance and some additional moves to show off on the dance floor. I didnt use to want to dance in public before but now I look forward to it (much to my fiancés delight). Thanks Fred Astaire!

Fantastic experience: We love this studio! My wife and I have been working with Julia and Dima, and they’re fantastic instructors. As beginners, we’ve already picked up several Tango and Rumba moves in just a few lessons. They create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere when we arrive and are incredibly positive and encouraging throughout the sessions. We’re excited to keep learning and can’t wait to perform a full dance!

We would not be able to have. Beautiful choreographed first dance at our wedding without them. The staff was kind and always welcoming. Because trust me - we had none!

Fantastic experience: I called in the day before a dance date in Cave Creek to get a refresher on the Two Step. My instructor was fantastic! He not only prepared me well with the AZ Two Step and TX Two Step but also introduced me to Waltz, Rumba, Foxtrot to get me practice and comfort with following the Lead! All this in just the first lesson and SO MUCH FUN!! My date said I was a great dancer. Thank you, Fred Astaire North Scottsdale, for being the terrific studio you are! I recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: We have taken several lessons and absolutely love going. Dimitri is a very patient and fun instructor. I highly suggest you go and take some classes.

Fantastic experience: My son has danced here for over a year, and has made great progress. He enjoys it, and his little dance partner is very nice to him. I have to make him leave to go home. The "Junior" program is very good, and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and capable. He sometimes wears a posture corrector that also helps with balance.

Fantastic experience: Matteo was incredible helping my dad and I built and learn a father daughter dance just a week before the wedding. He was quick to piece together choreography and turn our music mashup into a super fun dance!

Our instructors Matteo and Natasha made it a special, memorable night! They are incredibly skilled and extremely patient. The studio manager, Anastasia, helped customize our fun filled event. We're grateful to the studio staff for their expertise and kindness! If you're interested in learning how to dance, I highly recommend trying it with this team.

Fantastic experience: Love love love this studio. The teacher are amazing. All of them are highly professional and well experienced. Not every studio has this. It took me a while to find this level of professionalism. Danik is my Latin instructor and Kirill is my smooth dance instructor. My level of dancing transformed big time since I joined this studio. My 5yo daughter takes group classes here as well. Can’t recommend this studio enough!!!

They go out of their way to create a friendly, fun, and positive atmosphere. Great for any level and any age. They have done wonderful things with my mother who started lessons at 93yo!

In that time I have gone from having two-left-feet to being capable in every dance genre and danced on-stage at the Orpheum Theatre. As a homeschooler I was never involved in social events but since beginning lessons here it’s like I received a whole new wonderful family. The events within the studio are always incredibly fun as well as the fairytale galas and competitions you can expect to by whisked into to attending. Fantastic experience: Great place to learn, people are super friendly and great dancers. Keep your goal in mind, make a money and time budget and commit to it. People at the studio will help you with your plans. Remember progress will be proportional to the practice time and not only the coaching. Dancing takes time to improve, specially if you start from zero, so make a plan you can afford consistently in terms of money and time and practice, practice, practice.

Fantastic experience: We recently booked a few ballroom dance lessons with Paulina for our first dance at our upcoming wedding. She was way more prepared than we expected and had choreographed our entire song before we arrived. We're not professional dancers by any means, but she was extremely patient and helpful throughout the process. We now feel confident and calm about our big day, and we couldn't recommend Fred Astaire or Paulina any higher!

Fantastic experience: Fred Astaire Scottsdale studio is the best!l My experience there for the past five years has been so positive. I have competed in multiple competitions -- Arizona, Las Vegas, Orlando, Texas and Milwaukee. In addition, I enjoyed dancing several routines on stage at Mesa Arts Center each year. I love the professional instructors and had the good fortune to dance and perform with each and all of them at the studio. I consider them my "family" due to their warmth, caring and ability to coax me to dance better and better. When each student enters the studio, they are greeted with a smile and a hug. Fred Astaire offers students opportunities to be coached by many expert national coaches and top competitors in their area of dance. I am challenged mentally by learning dance patterns and choreographed performance routines. I am challenged physically with each lesson. My soul is filled by a positive environment at the studio and at all Fred Astaire competitions and performances.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so friendly and I felt welcomed with open arms. I took an into trial class and did not feel pressured to do more. They tailor training to meet your individual goals and teach as slow or fast as you want. Time flies because its so fun and quite a workout! Everyone is encouraging and it is a very positive learning environment!!
