Fantastic experience: Love! Would seriously die without them. I order their meals every week. Easy and helps me stay consistent with my diet and makes counting macros simple.

Negative experience: The white Lady at the front desk, gave us very judging racist looks! We didn’t feel welcomed ! And was pretending she didn’t understand what we we’re saying

Fantastic experience: I happen to discover this gem while I was on my lunch break walk. I was greeted by the nicest people. I was kind of in a rush but will definitely be going back. I purchased the most delicious Rainbow salad, the flavors and portions were perfect! I noticed on the package that it’s made fresh there, which I love. Definitely will be returning to try their other good looking options. I might made this my lunch break walk to location.

Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure of ordering the weekly meal prep subscription for a couple months now and I continue to enjoy the food so much. Each entree is full of flavor and best Ingridients. My current favorites are the grilled chicken with squash veggies, bbq chicken, lean meatloaf, rainbow chicken salad and steak dinner with veggies and potatoes. And their coffee crush smoothie is my daily favorite. They also sell their delicious lemon heaven salad dressing. Their meal preps are such a blessing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for flavorful, high quality meals.

Fantastic experience: Local Health Market in San Antonio may be one of my favorite local small businesses on the planet. Sarah, Jason and Miss Jane take care of their customers like they’re family. They listen to the needs of their customers and the menu has changed over the years as a result. Plus, the smoothies are BOMB (and clean, not full of garbage and sugar like most). I can say from personal experience, shopping here is life-giving and highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: I have known Sarah for over 15 years, through the health food industry, and when I was having health issues of my own, she was the first one that came to mind. Sarah is trustworthy ,caring, professional and is a wonderful encourager. The trajectory of my life was going towards lots of medication‘s and doctors visits. I was overweight, bloated, sluggish, low energy, post menopausal and overwhelmed and frustrated at all of the information out there. Through the Empower Wellness program, I have lost 15 pounds, am no longer prediabetic, do not take cholesterol meds & am excited about the future. I was amazed that I could lose weight, I feel better, have more energy, and am in control of my life. I am thankful for Sarah and her team helping me through this season.

Fantastic experience: The food here is incredible! I highly recommend trying the turkey with sweet potato. Every meal that they prepare is healthy and of the highest quality. Fantastic experience: Would recommend if you need guidance for life long sustaining progress. I lost close to 20 pounds in 12 weeks. Am now close to losing 10 more pounds since I finished the program. Additionally, I have gained control back of my stomach issues and my chronic pain issues. The store is also very nice and clean. Having discounts and coupons too helps. The smoothies are really good. Love having access to track progress with inbody. All in all, a great program and would recommend.

Fantastic experience: The holy grail for Celiacs. I have never left a review for anything ever. I have really bad celiacs damage. I've been hospitalized and have intestinal damage which means any slip ups cause serious issues for me (internal bleeding and inflammation). I'm just beyond impressed, completely blown away. This place goes so far beyond expectations. I was so happy to eat a good meal that was well made, to scroll a full menu and have the option to ear anything on it - I HAD to call them and just thank them for existing as dramatic as that sounds. Food is so stressful for me and many times I've ordered food other places and they have made mistakes or not take the seriousness of my celiacs into account. Those mistakes have really cost me immense pain and resulted in ER trips and liquid diets. I finally have this awesome go to place. I'll be making this my special treat place to order from weekly. Thank you to the staff there. You guys are awesome!

Fantastic experience: We visited Local Health Market for the first time about a month ago and have been stopping in for the Traditional Acaí bowl which is the BEST in San Antonio. The chicken vegatable soup, rainbow chicken salad, the Lean Shake are so DELICIOUS as well . And the best part of this establishment is Sarah, Jason and their staff are always so friendly and very helpful. Thank you Sarah and Jason we appreciate you both. Fantastic experience: I was starving, I'm meal planning and preping and was on the road all day. I didn't make it home for lunch and by no means was I going to break for fast food. I noticed this place, caught from the corner of my eye. Pulled in, and viola(!) I'm saved. I picked the salmon Greek Salad and scarfed it while sitting on the tailgate of my truck. It was amazing and fantastic! They have pre-mqde meals, supplements, fresh juices, very impressive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Local Health Market has delicious foods that are perfectly portioned to give your body the nutritious food and fuel it needs. They make in-house salad dressings that are olive oil based (no soybean or canola oil like all the grocery store brands) and they are delicious! I keep a stock at my house. The smoothies are also delicious and nutritious, and the greek salmon salad is my fave! Definitely recommend this place to get some yummy food that will make you feel good about what you are putting into your body.

Fantastic experience: My doctor told me to call Sarah(co owner/nutrionist). Wasn’t going to because I was tired of disappointment. Wow! So glad I did. From the first call with her hubby(co owner) to walking out that first day with a plan, food and HOPE, I was in. I have had in person and online support. I have a plan that is easy to do. I have a store(Local Health Market) that provides delicious, ready to go organic meals, wonderful organic smoothies and juices, supplements and staff that really go out of their way to help me meet my health goals. I have had gut issues for years and have struggled with my weight all my life. I have never felt better than I have these last few months. My gut issues are gone. I have energy like never before, I have lost 10 pounds and my memory is better. Go visit the store and get a smoothie! Make an appt. with Sarah. You will not regret it.

The juice bar is fabulous and has such a large selection of smoothies and bullet proof coffee., Family owned and operated and you can tell they truly care about one's health with great coaching available with an expert nutritionist. Blaire is a true delight and such positive energy!! They all make one feel so special when you walk in the door!! Fantastic place, love it !!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Local Health Market....! Sooo...I discovered Local Health about five years ago by a personal trainer at my gym. I homeschool my daughter and we are both very busy models and actresses. We are also involved in several extracurricular activities. Home schooling in itself, keeping up with my house, & cooking were putting my whole family over capacity....very stressed!!! My husband works Real Estate for an extremely high volume builder and had no time to leave his office. He was tired of just having a protein shake every day or boring can soup. ... ...Juggling the meals and making sure we also ate all our nutritional macros was tedious, time consuming and exhausting... at one point I even tried to do my own meal prep planning...long story short...it was extremely expensive, time consuming & exhausting... The clean up wasn't fun either! We ended up having the same meal almost every day of the week (boring) because I didn't have the desire or time to do a variety of different recipes. There was also the whole keeping meals fresh in the fridge issue. I was throwing food out constantly. 6 months later I threw in the towel due to exhaustion,mmmanagement...look no further in San Antonio then Local Health Market!

Fantastic experience: Had been looking for a healthy, tasty and stress free way to have ready to eat meals during the long work days. I stopped by Local Health and was impressed by the large variety of healthy options. Blaire guided me through all the meals and carefully explained everything. At her recommendation I decided to go with the weekly subscription, which not only saves some money but also has taken the stress off of having to meal prep for the week. Couldn't be happier with it. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: These guys are awesome! They really use all natural ingredients. I get a new smoothie every weekend- hiiiiiighly recommend- especially the peanut butter banana with chocolate protein powder.

Negative experience: I just ordered the Steak and Gorgonzola salad through Uber eats.. if I wanted to chew on cold, tasteless meat with no personality for $30, I would’ve just called up my ex. Hopefully the caffeine in the bitter mocha I ordered will give me a little pick me up after this disappointment.

Fantastic experience: I was terribly ill couldn't get off my couch. My husband went to the local health market and bought me some chicken soup and cauliflower crusted pizza. The soup was absolutely delicious! Truly healed me from the inside out DO NOT EVER CHANGE THAT RECIPE! I was able to get back to work the very next day! Fantastic experience: I stop into Local Health Market almost weekly to pick something up. They can teach you all about supplements, nutrition, and even do a body mass scan. Their prepared foods and juices are really delicious! The Kale salad, Chili, and Shepherd's pie are our faves.

Fantastic experience: Ok! So i am so blown away by the thoughtfully seasoned dishes ive had the pleasure of tasting. Some health food tends to be bland as hell. First, i had the chicken veggie soup, holy hell does it smack you in the face with flavor and a good heavy hand of spice. Simply the best chicken veggie soup ive ever had...homemade and/or store bought. The steak gorgonzola salad....on point! My absolute favorite as of today...sweet potato chili. I just cant with that chili :)!!!! Off the chain delicious!!!! Had nooooo flippn idea "health" food could taste soooo good. Wont be able to keep me away from this place! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a bad cold for 3+ days, so Local Health Market was a godsend: The lady working the counter immediately found me something nourishing to take home and she was completely supportive of my wish to not touch anything so as to keep my cold from spreading. She grabbed and bagged everything for me and was really sympathetic. The entire experience made me feel like a human being instead of a sick creature for the first time since this cold started. Fantastic experience: I have a new addiction and its Sarah's Steak and Gorgonzola Salad! This incredibly flavorful grass-fed steak on top of a bed of organic greens. I love the fact that they use organic ingredients and in such a flavorful way. I also love that there's such a healthy option to grab for lunch, and the dinners are wonderful as well. I like to stop in after workouts, when possible, and grab a Matcha Smoothie as my recovery drink.

Fantastic experience: Local Health Market is definitley not a GNC or similar type vitamin store. The quality level of their products is light years ahead of anything else in town. The organic coffee and juice bar are just a few extras you get there. The owners are very experienced and one of them is even a certified clinical nutritionist so you know your getting good advice. I like the healthy meals on the go that you can just grab and warm up and itheir nutritious.
