Negative experience: I went for a consultation at the Stone Oak location. Everything started out great very positive realistic and informative. The second appointment with the surgeon is where it all went wrong. He was incredibly rude and insulting. He accused me of lying on the medical history because I forgot a detail about a family member’s health condition 30 years ago. They took pre-op pictures of me in underwear, then refused my procedure stating I was high risk. The professional thing would have been to have me consult with the surgeon BEFORE having me strip down for embarrassing photos. I left there truly feeling embarrassed and violated.

Fantastic experience: I had such an amazing experience at Sono Bello located in San Antonio, TX. My sirgeon is Dr. Shaner. He, has answered every text I have sent him since the day of my procedure. He's answered back asap and is not frustrated. He is so kind and patient. During the procedure he explained everything and took his time. He did an amazing job! I wouldn't go to any other surgeon but him. Thank you Dr. Shaner and your staff.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a consultation at Sono Bello, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care and professionalism from my consultant Verenia. She took the time to understand my goals and made me feel completely at ease by walking me through each step of the process. Not only did she answer all my questions with honesty and transparency, but she also offered insights that helped me feel confident in my decision. She wasn't pushy at all, which I really appreciated. Instead, she was genuinely interested in helping me find the best option for me. Fantastic experience: My Nurse Danielle and Andrea were both very caring, friendly and very knowledgeable. They both made me feel very comfortable and at ease with my procedure. Andrea was very quick at responding to me when I had questions after my procedure and didn’t remember what to do. Overall my experience has been nothing but phenomenal.

Fantastic experience: I admit I was reluctant to keep my appointment this Monday, October 14, 2024. My past experience with the surgical side was not pleasant and had left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. This appointment, however, was the extreme opposite. I was met by Verenia who greeted me warmly. Verenia had done her homework. Before I said anything, she knew that I had undergone a surgical procedure at Sono Bello in 2018 - a great place to start. She listened attentively to my concerns asking intelligent and insightful questions to ensure comprehension. She then addressed each of my concerns and provided clear explanations which helped me understand the whole process. And even though the services provided by Sono Bello were not right for me at this time, I did not leave empty handed. Verenia introduced several alternative steps I could consider and if implemented may yield positive results and help me reach my goals. I left her office feeling confident and with a positive direction. So I want to thank Verenia formally for her remarkable service! “You have been kind and compassionate and really made me feel certain my goals were within my reach. I do hope that Sono Bello truly appreciates the gem that you are!”

Fantastic experience: I had my pre-op appt with Andrea and the doctor on Thursday. They answered all the questions I asked and were patient to repeat information (there's a lot going on for an operation). I left feeling excited and prepared.

Positive experience: Got my procedure done by Dr. Patrick Schaner very nice, I am seeing such a big difference! In the beginning there was some mis communication at my consultation but after that everything went great, nurse Anna was very helpful and sweet, can’t wait to see more of my results!

Fantastic experience: Honestly everything happened so fast! I went in for a consultation on a Friday to having my surgery on the following Tuesday! The front staff were all beautiful and their customer service was great. My consultant Denisse was sweet and bubbly. Her customer service was great as well. The day of my procedure, my nurse was Niki and my doctor was Dr. Schaner. Let me tell YOU, both were AMAZING!! They both took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable and talked me through the steps they were doing, until I fell asleep. Dr. Schaner was amazing. He made me looked snatched!! lol He even called me later after the procedure making sure I was ok and said I could call or text anytime I have questions or concerns. It was all around a great experience. Do I recommend? 1000%

Positive experience: Thanks to the reviews I will never go here... As stated , a lot of people seem to be given little pain meds, aren't told about 2 procedures and it not being one. The pain gets me... Lack of meds and the pic showing little results after spending a lot of money. I'll pass.

Fantastic experience: I visited Sonobello a couple of days ago and I met Verenia. She was genuinely transparent about the products and services Sonobello has to offer. I felt completely comfortable sharing with Verenia my questions and concerns. She was so informative and helpful and ultimately was the dealbreaker for me. I have been to so many consults and would not go through with it because I didn’t connect with the professional. I am so excited I have my pre op this week and excited about my procedure in the near future. Thank you Verenia

Positive experience: Had a great experience as far as the procedure. Pain levels were minimal and recovery has been smooth. If you are debating and hesitating because you have a low pain tolerance, or if surgery makes you nervous, the team here did an excellent job in managing comfort/recovery. Really appreciate the care I received the day of. Only removed a star because I very rarely receive back timely responses and assistance from the office staff. You have to chase down and follow up on everything. If they tell you they will call you back they rarely do that. So you wind up having to call multiple times over a week or two. Honestly almost made me decide against going with Sonobello when I was comparing against other facilities for my procedure. It is still a super frustrating thing to deal with post procedure. Hit or miss. Sometimes they pick up, are super friendly and you get your question sorted out quickly. Orrrr no one picks up for days and you have to keep trying to contact them.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a procedure done at Sono Bello, and I can't say enough about how amazing the entire experience was. From the beginning, all the nurses were incredibly attentive and caring. I am especially grateful to have had Dr. Kunasz perform my procedure. He is truly exceptional at what he does. What meant the most to me was the fact that he took the time to call me on a Saturday to check on my progress. I highly recommend Sono Bello!

Fantastic experience: Where do I even begin? From the moment I walked in everyone was so welcoming and helped make me feel less nervous. From my consultation with V to the day of surgery and even after was AMAZING! . There was an Issue with financing the Office Manager Liz went above and beyond to fix it. The day of surgery I wanted to walk out I was so scared but I am so glad the nurses talked me out of it. My Nurse Carl was amazing along side Dr Schaner who even called me that night to make sure I was okay or if I had questions. I have never felt alone during this whole process! One of the nurses even texted my kids from my phone so they knew I was okay because the procedure was longer than expected! I'm only two days post op but I would do it all over again. I can't wait for the final result! Thank you all. You'll Rock! If you are on the fence about doing it like I was! DO IT! You won't regret it!

Negative experience: I called office at Sontera Blvd. to ask just one question. I couldn’t get the last part of my statement out before the receptionist said what is your phone number and zip code? I said I had a question. Again, on repeat, what is your number and zip! I recognize this organization is filling third party requests to surgeons in SA. But if you can’t answer the simplest of questions (is there any procedure for same day?) then you need to train up staff or bite the bullet and pay a nurse to answer phones.

Fantastic experience: I had a tummy tuck for a guy. I have been battling weigh all my life. I used to be 345lbs and now I am down to 210lbs (with a lot of muscle). My problem was having the skin on my belly of a 345lb man. The Dr. S. and the whole team at sonobello made me feel right at ease and answered all my questions and concerns. I remember nothing of the surgery except for seeing the amount of skin removed and the fat that was sucked out to correct my shape. I am in almost no pain after surgery, basically after the weekend I was totally fine. I got to see the before pictures and my 1 month postop pictures and I am amazed! I still have some swelling as was to be expected, but wow do I look awesome! All of the time I wasted hating my stomach and I could have done this years ago. The cherry on top was they were 1/2 the price the other plastic surgeons quoted me! Thank you to Sonobello and the amazing staff for giving this man a reason to take his shirt off again! -MB

Negative experience: If u want a tummy tuck find a good doctor that will do a full tummy tuck. I got a tummy surgery here & it wasn't great, not 14k great. I asked why my stomach looks like this & basically they said, thats the best we can do & that they can do another lipo to see if it helps. Who wants to do another surgery? I have kids & stuff to do. This procedure is a year long recovery. So before u go here check out other doctors. It's the same recovery time. Staff & doctors were nice But they were under staffed for massage therapy.

Positive experience: I am 6 months post op from my liposuction and AbEx with SonoBello. From day one of the consult all the way to the end of my journey the front desk, nursing staff, office managers and surgeons have been friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable. If you have any questions they are happy to address those with you and they were always available. I could call or text the center for help at any time. My life has been changed and touched by this experience. Positive experience: Everybody was really nice and super helpful from consultation, pricing, receptionists, nurses, and Dr. I do have a few helpful advice since it’s been a few months since my surgery. Any areas you do…make sure to do ALL areas. I did my inner thighs and the surgeon did suggest I get my knees since it might be disproportionate and I sadly didn’t have enough money to add it and I’m greatly disappointed that I didn’t. I now don’t like my legs! I don’t think the surgeon could take enough fat out since he was trying to not take too much so my knees don’t look weird! I don’t this is the surgeons fault more mine since I couldn’t do the added area! Therefore Do inner thighs and knee fat! LOVE MY WAIST!! Get that done for sure!! If you do your back PLEASE do all the back areas I regret not getting my upper back…it’s not tooo noticeable but there is a difference. Bras are tricky to wear since my upper back is bigger than my lower back…I think they call it the bra area?! Not sure but all in all get it ALL areas and you’ll have better results. I did my chin area as well and as it’s does have less fat I wish it was more defined maybe that’s more of a in depth plastic surgery so I wish I could’ve done my arms instead. The reasons I couldn’t do all areas that were recommended were because I was trying to do a little bit of diff sections with the money I had but that was completely wrong…If you’re going to do this just spend that ton of money and get everything done and have great results the first time because instead of getting rid of my insecurities I just created new ones. I don’t have any money to come in and fix my mistakes and now have to deal with it naturally which is hard!! I hope this helps!

Positive experience: I had the Trisculpt AB/ex procedure 1 month ago. I can't be any more excited with my results thus far. Dr. Friedman did an AMAZING job. Very personable. He listened to any and all concerns I had. Definitely would recommend him and Sono Bello. Only 4 stars due to needing more follow up to be with surgeons vs nurses especially the 1 month or 1st week when healing is crucial.

Fantastic experience: The staff was amazing, And so were the doctors. I got a great deal on my package. They were awesome in working with me financially. As for the process the local anesthesia did not work as well as I anticipated and I could feel a lot of pain through the whole procedure. Not everyone has the same pain tolerance so this could just be me in general. The nurse even held my hand and tried her best to comfort me due to the pain. Other than that I can't complain because the doctors were amazing, the staff was amazing and they talk me through the procedure.

Negative experience: How could this place have so many positive reviews? Folks must not have been through their procedures yet. They will move your appointment time the day before without a care in the world. Given incorrect information countless times (including the treatment areas). Even staff left due to poor management. I got to hear all about it during my Venus treatments. Once they have your money — good luck. Extremely disappointed in nearly every aspect of my experience to the point where I wish I had gone anywhere else. However, I will say Dr Shaner and the medical nurses are wonderful. Such a shame the rest of the experience was so poor. Negative stars.

Fantastic experience: My procedure is June 5,2023 and my experience has been nothing but the best. Ive been to Ontario with my girl Miranda who help me all the wau though, from a quick appt to the best Dr for my BMI. Dr Cooper and his team are the best in San Diego. Look forward to my new look and its a group of 5 going so stay turn..

Fantastic experience: did a consultation with Verenia. She was very professional, friendly and fun to talk to. She makes me feel very comfortable, giving me the attention and respect, the place is also very clean. I love the different options and detail information she give me.

Positive experience: Information that I received during my initial consultation with Verenia (V) was very different from information that I received from my initial consultation with Dr Shaner. My consultant gave me inaccurate and misleading information, but the doctor gave me information for the most realistic results, which I appreciated. So, in the end, I spent more money than I anticipated. I strongly feel that initial consults should be with the doctor to begin with, not a consultant! Therefore, if you're consultation is with V, be careful!! On the other hand, Dr Shaner was great!

Fantastic experience: The nurses and staff were so caring and accommodating! I’m a nurse so I know good care when I see it! Dr. Schaner was very thorough in making sure the procedure was safe for my medical history and he put me at ease about the whole process. I’m 4 days post op and the results are fantastic so far! I definitely have more of an hour glass figure again and I haven’t seen my waist line look like this since pre-pregnancy days even with weight loss. I’m really looking forward to the results as the swelling diminishes in the coming weeks and I’m excited to feel more confident in a swimsuit next summer!

Fantastic experience: This consultation was wonderful. The office was accommodating. I had a problem in the morning and they got me in for the afternoon instead. Verenia is so full of positive energy. I love it. She is the perfect person for the job. I look forward to working with the rest of the staff.

Fantastic experience: I can only say great things about my experience with my surgery. Dr. Westfield is wonderful and all of the girls on her staff (Denisse and Klarissa)were wonderful to work with. Fantastic experience: Dr. Kunasz and his nurse, Melanie were amazing. I loved Dr. Kunasz sense of humor to take my nervousness away. But he was very professional as well, and I felt like I was in good hands. The nurse offered great hospitality and made me feel comfortable. She was very personable so that put me at ease as well. The ladies at the front desk were also amazing. Customer service is very important to me and I appreciate the friendly attitudes and efficient assistance. The only recommendation I would make is heated blankets as it was a little cool in there due to the medication but that is to be expected. The surgery didn’t take too long either. I would definitely recommend Sono Bello to anyone. I will definitely be back to them to utilize more services!

Fantastic experience: I just completed my three month follow-up visit, and I have enjoyed every interaction I have had with the Sono Bello staff, especially my aesthetician Karlotta. I continue to have my Venus legacy treatments that have dramatically improved the tightening of my skin and the overall look that I am going for after having the tri-sculpt EX in November 2021. I would highly recommend my doctor, Dr Schaner who has been there for me every step of the way during recovery and again the results are phenomenal. Everyone at Sono Bello is forthcoming with all expectations and also are extremely supportive during the recovery process. All of the nursing staff have reminded me that recovery from surgery takes time, and they have empowered me and encouraged me to allow that healing process to continue with the understanding that I will see the results that I want, it just takes time. Everyone of the Sono Bello staff is knowledgeable regarding all surgeries and the recovery process, and they encourage all questions that a patient would want to ask. Because I am so impressed with the customer service of the staff and the so far results from my surgery and post operative Venus treatments, I am planning on having more cosmetic work completed on the other challenging areas that exercise and diet are not helping to rid of excess body fat. Thank you to all of the Sono Bello staff for making me feel comfortable and welcome at every visit.

Negative experience: I signed up for a consultation for Liposuction. First of all the agent that called English wasn’t that great, second I was denied the consultation because I’m a diabetic and my A1C is above 7. I know my A1C is on the high side right now but that should not ever keep me from being able to have an consultation to at least get the information I need. I already know what my A1C has to be and the work I need to do, knew that before even contacting Sonobello!! Your agent needs to be retrained!!! You just lost a customer before even really getting started. He flat said you’re not a good candidate for lipo, when diabetics clearly are good candidates once they’re blood sugar is under control!! I one has ever turned me down from having a consultation EVER!!! Very disappointing

Fantastic experience: The doctor and his girls are so great. They always make me feel comfortable and answer any questions that I have so professionally. I’m 5weeks out of surgery and my results are already looking amazing. Once I am completely healed I will most definitely be posting my before and after photos.

Fantastic experience: My experience thus far has been excellent. My Consultation went great and my Consultant Verenia aka “V” is very attentive and has answered all of my questions and concerns, making me more comfortable with the process. I am looking forward to my procedure.

Fantastic experience: Today was my 1 month post appt. Today I had lots of questions and Melanie made me feel so comfortable from the moment she walked in. I had alot to ask and I never once felt I was asking dumb questions and I never felt rushed to get me out. I had a great appt and all my questions were answered. I hope I see her more.

Negative experience: In my consultation was lied to so I had to reschedule my surgery. I was also told all areas would be numb. Some of the areas were very painful. Dr knew I was in pain and did not do anything about it just said sorry and kept going. I am 8 months post op and my skin is blotchy and a spot was missed. I do not recommend and I will never go back.

Fantastic experience: I went into the office feeling stressed and nervous but my consultant Verenia was great she made me feel comfortable and gave me all the information explain step by step process. Fantastic experience: From the moment I stepped in the office, Verenia made my feel that she understood my battle. And the receptionist welcomed me with with those caring eyes. I met Dr. Schaner at my first pre-op Appt. He thoroughly explained to me the process of the surgery..I left that day with confidence that I was in the best of care. The day of the surgery came. The nurse welcomed me and took my vitals and was constantly checking up on me. Doc came in and started marking me and all the while explaining the markings to me. They took me in the surgery room.. the nurses took real good care of me..Dr. Schaner told me what he was doing at all times and answering all of my questions at the same time....I am 1 week post op and I still get taken care of with all my questions and concerns. The nurses were available to me and answered me expeditiously. I and so happy with my results...and will most certainly be returning in the future .

Fantastic experience: I’ve been having Venus Legacy sessions for my abdomen. I really like how they are always on time (I don’t have to wait for hours like it happens in other places). Karlotta has been taking care of me, she is amazing, very nice human being and really good at what she does. I can notice a lot of changes in my abdomen, it looks smoother and firmer. I really recommend Venus Legacy and also Karlotta.

Fantastic experience: Doing Venus treatments has been beneficial in reducing the swelling after liposuction. Karlotta is one of the estheticians that performs the Venus treatments. She is a true gem! She has gone out of her way to schedule my sessions between both of our busy schedules! She is so personable, easy to talk to, and such a professional. Fantastic experience: I went to sono Bello to get a consultation , my experience was very good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The person who I sat and conversed with was Mrs.V . She weighted me, then told me what my BMI was , next she asked me what I'm interested in getting done. Then I asked how much was each procedure. When she gave me a grand total of the amount:... My wig flipped around my head. LOL,:: What I liked best about my experience she gave me good advice and she helped with a affordable payment plan that definitely fit in my budget.
