Negative experience: Wife and I decided to grab a smoothie after a hike, unfortunately it was chalky (added protein powder). Taste was definitely off. Won't go back.

Negative experience: I recently visited this establishment and found several aspects concerning. The staff all seem to be very young girls right out of high school. This raises questions about the hiring practices and overall professionalism of the management. Additionally, there are no visible prices or nutritional information provided for the various powders and products used, specifically those from Herbalife. This lack of transparency is troubling, particularly for customers who are conscious of what they are consuming. My daughter has also experienced several unsettling interactions while using DoorDash to order from this location. It seems that the staff often does not have a clear understanding of incoming orders until the delivery personnel arrive, indicating a lack of efficient operational procedures. Furthermore, the customer service leaves much to be desired. The staff exhibits a surprising level of rudeness and lack of respect towards customers. This behavior is unprofessional and needs to be addressed. Given these numerous issues, it raises concerns about the true nature of its activities and operations.

Negative experience: I was excited to try this place and then we got there and everything was so confusing. I ordered a French Toast shake and it was absolutely terrible I asked them to remake me something else. Then came the Blueberry Cheesecake and that was also terrible. The consistency is water down chalk. I looked into the business and learned they use Herbalife proteins which is an MLM scheme. Not to mention on the counter they give you your drinks on, was COVERED in dust & the laptop on the counter was so gross. Not a clean facility clearly. Had high hopes, was very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Found them online while searching for healthy near my workplace. And Intrigued enough to “find out what a $10 smoothie tastes like” (note: a subtle movie line reference from Pulp Fiction). My first smoothie was an Orange Julius smoothie and it was good (good enough to slurp off the top quarter of it before I took the photo). Found out they are fabulous for the price (so much healthier than fast food) and worth going back to try the energy teas and other smoothie flavors.

Fantastic experience: 100 times YES! This is our absolute favorite smoothie/ protein shake place EVER. A must visit! Tons of tasty options. Don’t walk, RUN!

Fantastic experience: Best protein shake I ever had. I get the AÇAÍ with creatine everyday for the last 90 days and it’s my favorite way to start my day. The service is great, everyone is nice and the owner Daniel is very informational about his shakes and what they put in them. All healthy, increased my energy throughout the day and helped me put on lean muscle!

Fantastic experience: HB Wellness is a neighborhood spot that contributes to the health of a community. They offer a wide variety of protein smoothies for everyone to choose from. The owner only hires the best employees to deliver an outstanding product. They also have protein bites/balls to take with you on the move and a delicious fresh brewed ice tea selection. They have so many flavors and combinations to satisfy any palate. I love the Acai protein smoothie with granola. My other favorite is the peanut butter chocolate smoothie.

Positive experience: Delicious! They use HerbalLife protein powder, which is certified gluten-free. Any of the drinks that have are vanilla based are gluten- free. Staff knew which things were gluten-free and answered all my questions.

Fantastic experience: It's an awesome place to go after a workout. Their shakes are always interesting and serve as a nice snack and protein source. This is also a great place to meet up with friends for a bit. I love coming in whenever I can!

Negative experience: WHOA. This smoothie shop is very confusing. There are no prices listed on the board and they make you drink a giant iced tea before drinking a smoothie?? The girls working will not disclose ingredients.. Observations: we only saw lots of powders and no fruit going into drinks. The shop space was pretty hectic and dirty with a giant pac man game thing and scented candles burning everywhere? There were children's books on the coffee tables with naughty titles like "Brenda's Beaver Needs a Barber" and "Put Tony's Nuts In Your Mouth", plus another about a spanked monkey. Bet you weren't expecting to read this in a smoothie shop review. We weren't expecting it either!

Negative experience: Not smoothies, I repeat not smoothies. No fruits, no veggies, not even juice. Just a some protein powders and tea to help you digest your “smoothie”. If you want a protein shake, this place will do. If you want a smoothie, run away from here!

Fantastic experience: Oh my YUM!! I really enjoyed my nutritious, protein packed, delicious beverages! Their routine is to start off with a cold tea, then enjoy the smoothie - so awesome! Thank you for being open on Sunday and near the Gateway preserve trailhead!

Negative experience: Herbalife store front. They are not smoothies, they are powders mixed with water. Just advertise what you are and it's not a big deal, but trying to fool people is just wrong.

Positive experience: Just a Herbalife business in N scottsdale. Get the protein powder text at times. The chocolate overwhelms the other flavors you might be expecting. No prices or drink sizes shown the gigantic chalk board.

Fantastic experience: I don’t think there is anything better then delicious protein shakes, great environment, and friendly customers and employees! Salted Caramel is a must try with sugar free caramel drizzle. These people have brains in their heads and have been open the entire pandemic serving healthy meals. The workers will help guide you through the process if you are new! The owner, Daniel, is so friendly and will talk anything from hiking, to health, to trucks, and more with anyone! Highly recommend, best place around.

Fantastic experience: As the owner of Lacuna Kava Bar I don't say this lightly and this place knocked my socks off! Enthusiastic, and impressively trained staff were attentive to my arrival, the ordering process, and my shake selection recommendations. They even gave me 2 samples of their more popular flavors. I had to meet and thank the owner for making my morning extra special with some TLC service and a great tasting tea and protein smoothie! Felt great to get treated to well!

Fantastic experience: I don’t know what vudu magic they’re using on their no added sugar 250 calorie protein shakes but I just had the best shake of my life!! For $8 you are given a sugar free green tea and a protein shake of your choice from over 75 selections. I ordered the peanut butter chocolate post workout smoothie and the raspberry tea. Best $8 I’ve spent in a while. The girl who helped me decide was so friendly and shared her recommendations with me. She even let me try samples of some of the other smoothies! I cannot say enough good things about this place and I can’t wait to be back. UPDATE: this place is so good I drove 30 mins again the following day for another smoothie. I’m addicted! Also they are dog friendly and allow dogs indoors.

I make the 20 min drive 3 days a week just to get a shake and energy boost tea after my workouts. I’m gluten free and dairy free, so I order off the allergen menu (the birthday cake shake is the best). Great place to relax, read, or meet friends.

Negative experience: Walked up to the front door and saw that people who are preparing food are not wearing masks and turned away. Gross. Do they also not wash their hands after they poop? Do they sneeze directly into people’s open mouths?

Fantastic experience: Great place and plenty of ingredients to make whatever kind of smoothie you want. Owner helped me out and he was very kind, he just wants you to like your smoothie! The free tea while you wait is great too.

Negative experience: This place has the worst customer service i have ever witnessed. They don’t wear gloves watch one of them rub their nose than grab ice with that hand, no gloves, absolutely disgusting. I go in and get judged, they laugh at us. I go to sit and look at them and they were talking bad about us like making fun of us. We get our drinks and they just die laughing absolutely rude. No masks which is not safe whatsoever. Worst experience ever. 0 stars would be a better option. DO NOT COME HERE TRUST ME!

Negative experience: I was shocked that when I went to HB Wellness for a smoothie, which are great, that not a single employee was wearing a mask. It was very busy and I was the only customer wearing a mask. It’s no wonder that Arizona is considered one of the worst areas on the planet for covid. I will never return with their lack of safety for customers and employees.

Fantastic experience: Daniel Boone is one of a kind. He is the nicest and most energetic person I have ever met. I love the protein shakes at HB, you will not find another protein shake with the flavor. Ask for giant tea as well and thank me later.

Negative experience: Overcharged my sons credit card multiple times ! Whats up with this place ?? Fix it or lose business !!! Also NOT following mask guidelines. What else aren’t you all following ? A Spreading virus business. Reporting you.

Negative experience: No one here wears masks and neither their customers. Most of the workers look under 16 as well. I did not appreciate the staff smelling my drink before they served it to me either. Very disappointed in this establishment for disregarding others health concerns and safety as they advertising it is a healthy place. This is one way to get shut down!!! Which I’m sure will happen soon.

Negative experience: Currently I would not recommend. Was just there and NO ONE was wearing a mask. This is a health and wellness establishment for goodness sake. How much more of a contradiction can there be. Show respect for your customers and fellow employees.

Negative experience: Disappointing!!!!!!! I used to love this place. The fact that the owner has no regard for its patrons health and well-being will keep me from ever coming back. Not one staff member or patron aside from myself had a mask on. I am a healthcare worker and have watched my hospital fill to over capacity once already this year and it is starting to happen again. Who knew trying to make a healthy choice could be so deadly?

Fantastic experience: I walked into HB this morning and immediately felt the warm and upbeat vibe which is very appreciated in this chaotic world! The employees greeted me with a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic, “good morning”! Aside from a positive atmosphere, the shakes are the best in town. The choice of flavors are endless that I rarely order the same shake flavor twice! I highly recommend going to HB Wellness for a shake and a boost of positivity to your day!

Fantastic experience: A fantastic experience. Has a great environment with plenty of sitting space and this great area of board games and even a Pac-Man arcade game. The shakes are amazing and I highly recommend the birthday cake shake. I absolutely love the teas and will be back again many many more times 10/10

Negative experience: Very gross no one (guests or employees) in here is wearing a mask or gloves. There are 4 girls working back there (2 not pictured). There aren’t even markers letting you know a safe distance. Then when I was leaving I saw the boss not wearing one right in my face as well. Also the place is completely disheveled. Boasting a quarantine special off to the side while not following any of the guidelines. I’m extremely shocked and didn’t notice until after paying. After getting the drink, I was extremely dissatisfied. It was chalky and nothing like I remember. Glad it was during happy hour so I only wasted $5.

Fantastic experience: I love HB Wellness! The owner is awesome and the staff is friendly. I had the Banana Cream Pie smoothie with a Peach tea and it was the best smoothie i've ever had. I love how they do the tea, it's a really refreshing drink after a good workout. For the people complaining that they don't buy in to this COVID fear-mongering, stop listening to everything the media tells you. It's nice to go into a business that doesn't make you wear a mask so you can feel normal again. Keep up the great work HB Wellness! We will be regulars at your business!

Fantastic experience: Best place for low calorie protein shakes. They are absolutely delicious, filling and 39 awesome varieties to choose from and all are under 250 calories. The staff is always very friendly and greet you with a smile. I highly recommend coming here.

Negative experience: Fake "smoothies" for fake hippies and gym rats who think they are being healthy. It appears that there are a lot of gullible people in this area There is no real food in these drinks. Just synthetic vitamins from an MLM called HerbalLife that's sweetened with nasty artificial sweeteners such as sucralose and Ace K. Nothing healthy about this. Had to throw out my "smoothie" out as my taste buds are astute to the taste of nasty artificial sweeteners. A real scam to be calling processed powdered drinks "smoothies." There is literally nothing real in them.

Fantastic experience: This place is so delicious! My fave smoothies are the Coconut Macaroon and the Cinnamon Roll. The staff is so friendly and really educate you on what their smoothies and tea does for your body. I brought my whole networking group in today to support the biz, and they accommodated us no problem! All the members were thrilled with their smoothies and enjoyed the ambiance and comfortable atmosphere. Thanks HB Wellness, we love you!

One of the best parts is the owner, he's awesome. I highly recommend for a great healthy drink and good company!
