Fantastic experience: The office is beautiful and everyone is so kind and welcoming. I just had my first baby so I have lots of questions and have never felt rushed while asking them, and they seem to be encouraged. I feel my baby’s health is top priority to them and the providers lean on the side of caution which puts my mind at lease for making sure I raise a healthy baby! I have left every appointment very satisfied with picking them as my family pediatrician!

Fantastic experience: Every visit has been a great experience, whether we were at the doctor for a well or sick visit. The staff is professional, kind, and empathetic. They take great care of our child, and also make sure we are prepared as parents why providing excellent recommendations, resources, and answers to all of our questions.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Maya Powers and the staff are all amazing. The doctor shows a lot of care and we couldn’t ask for a better pediatrician for our child! Highly recommend Parkside if you want the best care for your child!

Educational and flexible with treatment options. Friendly check in staff, clean child friendly location. I really couldn't have any better things to say about this place.

Negative experience: Would not recommend. Took the tour here about 5-6 months prior to my daughter being born and was initially blown away with the promises. She was born recently and our first visit for her couldn’t have gone worse. They try to sell you on being extremely personable but our experience was anything but. The doctor felt extremely judgmental as my gf was still unsure about her breastfeeding journey. They barely spoke to us and essentially rushed us in and out of the office. Told us that we needed to schedule an appointment a certain day to check jaundice levels for my daughter. Wouldn’t allow us to schedule on the day they said we NEEDED to be back, and then told us they would call to schedule and never reached out to us at all. No one escorted us out of the building or even showed us where the checkout desk was. Needless to say we won’t be returning and won’t be recommending. It was not for us.

Fantastic experience: We love Parkside Pediatrics! First, from the friendly and knowledgeable staff we know we're in good hands. Plus having the kid friendly environment, outdoor playground, bubbles from the ceiling, and more makes my 2 year old daughter excited to come to the doctor! We can't recommend Parkside enough.

Fantastic experience: Both my children are at Parkside pediatrics and we are so happy with their care. From our regular visits to the on call nurse line, Parkside goes above and beyond to make sure each of the kiddos they see are taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, everyone is so pleasant. Love both the Boiling Springs, Spartanburg, and Greenville Offices.

Negative experience: I kept saying it would get better.. or that they may just be super busy that day. No.. it’s just how they run their practice. We have been going there for years and today I walked out. It is not ok to give busy parents and kids a set appointment time, ask them to show up early and then make them wait 15-20 min in waiting room with sick kids coughing all over and then bring them back to a room just to make them wait an additional 15-20 min just for an annual wellness visit. One time my son and I waited 45 min in the room before the PA came in. Absolutely not, we will not be doing that anymore. It’s sad, because they do so many things right. But this is definitely a nonnegotiable with our family.

Fantastic experience: Great experience from making appointment, to checking in with receptionist, to triage with nurse, to meeting doctor. Would highly recommend for urgent care pediatrician.

Fantastic experience: We love Parkside! We have always been able to get sick appointments quickly, gotten specific help when asking questions to the providers, and helpful advice from the nurse line. We so appreciate the care they give to our children.

Negative experience: Money hungry practice! Take your children elsewhere. Our daughter has been a patient since birth.. she’s 7. She’s had multiple visits for chronic ear infections and we called to get in and was told she was discharged due to a balance. We offered to pay it as we were having issues with our insurance company and they said no, let us know where to send her records… absolutely no sympathy at all. I find this as a blessing honestly, and especially since their pediatrician left along with two others.. maybe there’s more we don’t know.

Negative experience: I have never left a review in my entire life, but I want others to know how money-hungry this pediatric office is. There is zero empathy and almost a sense of arrogance when you speak to them on the phone. My son had been going there since he was a newborn. We had switched pediatricians because a different location was more convenient for our family. Today my 2 year old son woke up screaming with drainage and congestion after we have been without power for over a week due to the storm. He needed to be seen by a pediatrician. His current pediatrician closes at noon and wasn't answering the phone so I thought we would be able to take him to Parkside because they had seen him since he was two days old. Apparently not, because he was classified inactive over $39. I offered to pay it immediately because I was unaware of the balance, but they still would not see him. We are still currently without power from the Hurricane. They suggested I take him to the emergency room. It is scary that this place is in the business of treating children. I had to leave this review bc I think others should know but it seems like they already do based on the other reviews.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love it at Parkside! Feel so fortunate to have them right in our neighborhood. Dr. Davis is amazing!! She is so good with our kids, patient and understanding. Rarely have to wait more than a few minutes and have had great luck getting our kids in quickly for sick visits.

Fantastic experience: The evening appointments are extremely convenient and the level of care is still extremely high. We were in and out in less than an hour for a well child visit but this visit was extremely thorough and our practitioner and all of the staff were great. We have trusted Parkside with our children for the last 15 years and will continue to visit and they are hands down the best in the area.

Negative experience: AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Dear Parkside, I am very upset and disappointed in what happened to my daughter on June 3rd around 3pm. Not only did I tell the doctor(Dr. Dean)specifically what I wanted but I explained I didn’t want all the vaccines just dtap and pneumococcal. When the nurses came in to give the vaccines I specified this is just the whooping cough and pneumococcal vaccine correct and they said yes! After 7pm on Monday I get a call from Dr. Dean that she needed to talk to me about something that happened during Oaklynnes visit. I started freaking out and called her right back when I listened to the voicemail. When she called she said I’m not sure what happened but Oaklynne got the combo dtap vaccine. I was furious but honestly didn’t know what to say but how and that’s very upsetting when I specified with you and when I double checked with the nurses. She said idk what happened I have to play both sides but I think they thought you were double checking about the combo vaccine. I didn’t say dtap-Ipv-hib-hep b vaccine I said whooping cough which would be just dtap… I feel like this was on purpose. I was explaining that I didn’t want all the vaccines especially right now for my child and that these were the only two I was comfortable giving since there was active cases of both in our area. She didn’t need the rest. When we got home she was fussy, one of her legs was swollen she wouldn’t even let me touch the foot on that leg and she had a fever and refused bottles. I have never had this issue before with the two vaccines we agreed too. I as a parent/mom have the right to speak for my child I refused those vaccines and then my child gets it and had to go to the ER bc she had a fever and I was scared that she would get dehydrated from not wanting to take a bottle! This is completely unacceptable and something that can’t be fixed…

Fantastic experience: Every doctor I have seen with my children has been awesome! The whole staff is awesome and super sweet and helpful also very knowledgeable! We’ve been going here over the past ten years. It’s very clean and well kept as well. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and offer you the best treatment possible.

Fantastic experience: Parkside has been wonderful for our family the past 2 years. We see Dr. Woodlief who is always knowledgeable, thorough and kind. We never feel rushed. The offices are very clean and the staff is friendly and professional. The on-call nurses have been invaluable when I’ve called for help with minor illnesses and injuries. I’m so thankful we found Parkside and highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pickell you are truly amazing and an absolute blessing!!! Emergency visit needed and thankfully Parkside Pediatrics has "urgent care" on Saturdays! Even more of a blessing is that our son's Pediatrician, Dr. Pickell, happened to be on duty this weekend. Having a child that fears going to the Doctor yet a Pediatrician that calms all his fears and is beyond patient, especially when he's sick, is more than we could ever pray for!!! My husband, son and I absolutely adore Dr. Pickell to the point we changed office locations with him and would again tomorrow!!! There hasn't been a single visit when we have felt rushed nor do we ever feel pressured into making decisions. We have zero complaints about Parkside Pediatrics and HIGHLY suggest this group to anyone and everyone that wants superior care for their child(ren).

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful, thorough doctor's office. Kori Adkins is especially phenomenal. She never misses a thing, and takes so much time with my daughter to ensure she's healthy and on track for her age.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sine is a wonderful doctor. She is very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to make me and my son feel comfortable. She doesn’t make our appointments feel rushed and she is very good with anxious mamas! I’m very thankful my son has someone as sweet as her for his doctor.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Parkside Pediatrics was very helpful and very nice. I love how they informed me about how to properly buckle my son into his car seat comfortably and safely during his check up and showed me how to loosen the restraints when he gets bigger because those instructions and YouTube videos that most people look up to do those things aren’t always the most informative. The staff even had a spare ready-made formula bottle for me when I ran out of the milk I brought with me to feed my son. I would definitely recommend Parkside pediatrics to anybody.

Fantastic experience: I am a mother to a one year old and I have been coming to the Parkside Verdae office since my baby was three days old. They took such good care of me and my baby- I tried another pediatrics office closer to my home which was good- but just didn’t compare to the care and service Parkside Pediatrics offers.

Fantastic experience: We’ve had our children at Parkside since our son was born in 2017. We started at the Breastfeeding Center and now at Parkside Peds, every step of the way we’ve had a wonderful experience!

Negative experience: Every time I go here I feel my time is not valued. I am made to wait 45 minutes in the waiting room and an additional 30 minutes in the doctors room. This system is inconsiderate and needs to change. Before you choose to respond apologizing and saying you were busy, so what! Are you busy? Yes. Everyone is busy. However your receptionists were NOT to busy to call patients to tell them you are running an hour behind. I know this because I watched them fix their makeup in their phone cameras while they sat behind the desk. It is now an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time. Guess who I still haven’t seen…a doctor. Perhaps use some of your excessive funding to teach your employees about scheduling and time management. Or continue to treat your clientele like their time doesn’t matter to you. Because truly, it seems the only thing this place does care about is money. PostScript: I just received a $140 bill for this visit. After nobody contacted me with the results of the test after they guaranteed they would. My child received NO treatment. My child has had this ongoing problem for months. I have sought treatment here 3 times, paid for an expensive test which I do not receive the results of, and nothing changes. No treatment is administered, my child is still sick, I don't learn anything and they charge me.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my babies to Parkside since the arrival of our firstborn. We absolutely love this practice and the providers we have encountered. We see Dr. Dukes most often and have had nothing but positive interactions with him. He makes me feel heard and validated in my concerns for my babies. We have recently seen Dr. Rogers at Verdae for some sick appointments and have had amazing experiences both times with him! He is encouraging and it is obvious he deeply cares. I recommend this place to all of my friends with littles!

Negative experience: They discriminate against people with Medicaid, if you have Medicaid they will treat you different! Dont go here !!! They accept new patients if you have different insurance other than Medicaid and I have BCBS but my children had Medicaid and secondary is BCBS. I don't want to go there because of the fact that they blatantly told me how they don't want Medicaid patients !

Fantastic experience: Beyond impressed with this facility. The building is clean, spacious, and attractive (doesn’t feel super medical), there’s a jungle gym for the kids, and the staff is sooo friendly. Literally everyone who works here is so sweet and kind. The doctors and NPs are top notch and truly take the time to listen and investigate. Any time I take my children here, everyone is actually happy to be at the doctor’s!

My baby saw Dr. Kendall H, and she was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!…Not only that Ms. Stephanie was such a joy and an aid in helping us as we left the premises. They are just a wonderful staff and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Parkside Pediatrics!!!❤️

Fantastic experience: We have been with Parkside (Verdae) for nearly six years now. Started with our elder son, who is 6 now and our daughter, who is 3. Both kids love Dr Bhatia and are always excited about meeting her and the staff. Dr. Bhatia connects so well with the kids that the kids always look forward to meeting with her and always have an amazing experience. We feel very comfortable and confident with the care and service(s) provided.

Positive experience: All the doctors and nurses are amazing! We love them. The front desk staff is not friendly, each visit we’ve had they never seem to be very friendly at all. Total difference from the front desk on the OB side.

Fantastic experience: We are always so happy with the level of care that our boys receive at Parkside Peds. Britt Davis, and Dr. Rogers are our favorites to see. But honestly, I have been happy with every single provider we have ever seen there. They show us they care, and the love of children is obvious. They take time to listen to our concerns, and answer all of our questions. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We saw Gabby Amarate this morning for an early morning appointment and she was amazing! She was so thorough to assess both my sick kids and spent time discussing with us a plan of care and what to expect, when to call back and answer all of our questions. 11/10 experience

Negative experience: Had a horrible experience and will not be going back. My daughter who is only 5 years old has been going here since the day she was born we have absolutely loved Dr. Rogers he has been amazing with my daughter! She has major sensory issues and is very terrified of the doctor it’s a huge process trying to convince her to go when he’s not available. My daughter is very sick had a temp of almost 105 couldn’t stand on her own or move he was unavailable so we booked with another doctor. I had to sit in the room with my child for 10 min to convince her to allow them to do the Covid and flu test. The nurses came in one held her legs down the other swabbed her nose. The one holding her legs down immediately had an attitude telling me to turn my daughter around. While swabbing her nose it hurt so of course she pushed the nurses hand away the one holding her legs got very angry telling my child she will not be getting bubbles and then turned to the other nurse and said do not turn the bubbles on for her. My daughter got very upset because that is her favorite part of the visit and pointed at the door telling the nurse to leave so again the nurse got very upset and said “You were going to get a lollipop but yeah not now” and then walked out as I was speaking to her. I walked out of the appointment very upset, went to the front asking to speak to her how was in charge. They brought me in a conference room and sadly the one who was in charge was the one who treated my child so poorly who told me she needed to leave the room because my child clearly had her so aggravated. This nurse should not be working with children at all and has made things even harder for me. Instead of comforting my child and making the process easier she frightened her even more and has now made it to where it’s going to be impossible to do any comforting or convincing her to go to her appointments. She left crying her eyes out and refusing to eat because she said she was so sad.

Negative experience: I would not recommend anyone taking their child here. I wish I could so zero. Last year in late July, my 1 year old son became extremely ill. I waited a couple of days for his fever to break but it never did. Of course I make an appointment in August. I gave all the details i had. He was not eating, had a fever, coughing, coughing up clear thick sputum. Of course they said it was "something going around". I made 2 additional appointments. One doctor did a test everything came back fine. No virus and his wbc were good. She stated if the fever does not subside to take him to the children ER. Come back the next day talk to a NP who tried to make me feel inadequate because I was giving him whatever drink he wanted, soda. Left there no results. The fever finally subside but not the cough and he still wouldn't eat. He still continously cough up the sputum. One-day in September I was tried of the cough. I had given him every cough medicine you could think of. I decided to take him to the ER. Go in the metal detector goes off. Think nothing of it. Wait 2 hour there ready to leave. Finally get called back. Tell the doctor to do x-ray to see if there is rsv, pneumonia, or whatever else. Results come back. There is a circular object at the very top of his esophagus. After I looked at the photo I noticed it was my key fob battery. I distinctly remember the 1st doctor checking his throat and having a weird look on his face but wrote it off as a swollen node. They are doctors. They should know more than weight, height, exams, and shots. Had I continously waited for the cough to go away my child could have died. All it took is for one person to say is x-ray. Everything wrong with a child is not always"something going around ". I have called to make a complaint. No call back. Must do better!

Fantastic experience: We have been at Parkside for over 7 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The practice is always ready for feedback and working on ways to improve our experience but to be honest it’s always been great. If you’re looking for a practice that is always working towards being the best, that is what Parkside does! We particularly love Dr. Britt Davis, she has been an overwhelming breath of support and fresh air for my 5 kids. She is knowledgeable, ready to help, but most importantly she is so loving towards my family. She is our favorite!

Fantastic experience: Overall, my son and I had a great experience with Dr. McTyre. This was Jalen’s first appointment and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Everyone was very professional. I’d like to thank everyone we encountered I would definitely recommend Parkside Pediatrics.

Fantastic experience: Extremely easy to schedule appointments online or over the phone. Dr. Sine is wonderful and never made us feel rushed despite it being a clearly busy day at the practice. She took her time examining our child and while explaining a treatment plan for his health issue. The facility is welcoming and not scary for small children. The “well visit” side has an outdoor playground. There is “sick visit” side as well, which I’m sure parents of infants greatly appreciate.

Negative experience: A friend, well educated in the medical field is having her 4th baby and during her initial visit was prescribed a medication that was contraindicated during early pregnancy. When she asked why they recommended the medication she was told that if she had a problem taking the medication prescribed then she would need to find another practice. WOW!!! Don’t worry she will and I guarantee I know I won’t go there either.

Fantastic experience: Dr Minton was wonderful! She diagnosed my daughter right away and spent plenty of time with us. A great Parkside experience as always!

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr. Dukes today at the Verdae location, and our whole experience was incredible. All of the staff were welcoming and caring. Dr Dukes took the time to listen to all of our concerns, and he was amazing with our kids. I 100% recommend this location and Dr. Dukes for any parent looking for a pediatrician. We have seen a few of the doctors at Parkside, and hands down Dr. Dukes has been THE BEST thus far.

Fantastic experience: The front desk and nurses are always so nice and loving! We wouldn’t choose any other office to care for our son! Dr. Duke is amazing and when he’s not available the other Drs are just the same! Amazing!

Negative experience: I've been taking my children to Parkside since each was born over the past eight years. The quality of service here has gone downhill tremendously over the past couple of years. The final straw was when my son, who is non-speaking with autism, had an issue that I called into the after-hours nurse about. The way I was spoken to even after explaining that he has autism and that he simply can't tell me what is wrong was the first red flag. I was then made to feel that the issue was urgent and that it required an immediate in-person visit. I had to take time off work to hurry into an appointment where the doctor spent five minutes with us just to tell me to purchase something over the counter. When I reached out to request that we not be charged a co-pay for our completely unneccessary visit, no one ever reached back out to me after repeated emails over several weeks. Really disappointing to see such a lack of customer service at a place we used to hold in higher regard.

Fantastic experience: We have had a great experience the whole way through….from conception, to birth, to the pediatric side. Dr Goode is awesome and we love Parkside!

Fantastic experience: I’ve loved Parkside Pediatrics since our first visit back in 2014. I even moved my oldest child there from her former pediatrician. We’ve visited both locations (Five Forks and Verdae) and are very pleased with each visit. From their informative breastfeeding experience to pierced ears and more, Parkside takes care of our little ones all around! They accommodate same day sick visits even on Saturdays. They really are the best in town.

Negative experience: VERY unhappy. I am apparently being charged $190 for my newborns first visit. I would understand if this were the visit where they come out to hospital but its not. They said it was coded as a level 4 for establishing a patient and that it is charged higher because it includes reviewing medical records and apparently there was a note stating that she had a breast feeding issue. 1. This was her first visit.. theres not medical record to review aside from she was born. 2. She had NO issues. Also, this is my THIRD child and I have never been charged this amount before. My first two children had transferred here from another pediatrician and they were not coded this way and they DID have medical records. I find it a bit ridiculous to be getting charged almost $200 for someone to simply weigh/measure her and say “she looks perfect” and then send us on our way.

Fantastic experience: Parkside pediatrics has the most caring staff. The doctors love our daughter and she loves them too. The nurses always make our daughter so comfortable.Everyone always has a smile on their faces. You will always receive top care for your child or children.

Fantastic experience: We were not able to see our regular doc today (Dr. Pickle, who we love). We saw Dr. Rogers who was so patient and attentive. I would happily see either any day. Thank you both!

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this location, every visit, everyone’s great! A few doctors that I wanna especially thank— doctor J. Dukes, B. McTyre, and K. Adkins. I highly recommend them! I’m a first time mom, my son is now 15 months and they all have helped my son in tremendous ways. I couldn’t ask for a better team, and they are so nice!! I can’t give them enough praise.

Fantastic experience: I love the doctors at Parkside. Whenever my grands were a patient, I took them, the have a knowledgeable staff, they are very friendly, and courteous. The atmosphere is clean and germ free. The children like to play in the play area outside, rain sleet or snow. They have a big macinr like a bubble gum machine, they would give the children a token for a toy they can play with on the way home. This place is like 40 minutes from Anderson on a good traffic day. It's worth the drive!

Fantastic experience: We’ve been using Parkside Pediatrics for about 6 years now and I’m satisfied with their service. Whenever I needed them I was always able to have my kids seen by a doctor. I also like that they offer sick visits in the early hours during the week and on call nurse after hours. I’ve used all these services before. The office is clean, the staff is also usually friendly. Definitely recommend it! The last visits we saw Kendall Huguley and she’s great!!

Fantastic experience: Parkside got my son worked in today & Dr.Dukes & staff were fabulous! He was very thorough with a great bedside manner. Thank you for helping ease a nervous momma!

Negative experience: We have been bringing our 2 kids here the last 2 years and very pleased with the physicians. However they billed me out of pocket $147 for a telehealth visit that was technically not a telehealth visit as there was no visual, it was just a 5 minute phone call. Their billing was unwilling to work with me so we will no longer be taking our children here.

Fantastic experience: Love love LOVE the Verdae location... My 1 year old and 4 year old are both absolutely terrified of the doctor (and by terrified I mean TERRIFIED). But the nurses and Dr. Kori Adkins were wonderful with both of them. Crisis averted! Will be back!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gray is amazing. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and questions, and addresses them all thoroughly. The rest of the staff was friendly and respectful.

Fantastic experience: Been at Parkside Pediatrics for 3+ years now and they take such good care of my kids. Very thorough and they take their time. Dr. Sine, Dr. Gray, Dr. Powers, at Verdae are AMAZING, and I also like Dr. Pickle in Greer. These Dr’s seem to enjoy their jobs and that they care about treating my kids. The facilities are up to date and are clean. They offer fluoride for up to 12 months I believe and vision screening. The bubbles at the end of the appointment always puts a smile on my kids faces! I will say I have met with a few other Dr’s on sick visits when my primary Dr isn’t available and I haven’t melded well with them and that I did not feel they met my standard of care. So when I make an appointment I only choose the Dr’s I know I like. Each location has several Drs to choose from so you have to find Drs that work for you as every parent and child is different. But I 100% recommend this practice. Very easy to make and cancel appointments online and chat online with them too.

Positive experience: While I do love Parkside for their mannerisms and level of care, it is insanely hard to get scheduled with your physician. Dr. Britt Davis specifically has limited availability and I booked an 18 month well check six months in advanced. It was rescheduled three times and now we are having to see a new physician at a different location due to availability. Very unsatisfied at this time.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, courteous. Above & beyond. Front Desk (10) Nurse (10) Dr.Bhatia & staff are amazing. Always answers the concerns we have & makes our little ones feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: How awesome is it that on a Saturday at 10 AM you can look at your child and realize that you think they have pink eye and have medicine by 2 PM? Thank you Parkside for Saturday hours! Thank you for great providers like Will Robinson, who took great care of my daughter! I mean look at this angry eye he was able to start fixing so quickly

Fantastic experience: We waited for an appropriate amount of time, a short time for urgent care hours. Our doctor was very knowledgeable and had great rapport. I would prefer him as our primary pediatrician.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rogers is compassionate, caring & got on my sons level during his well check. They were sharing Dad jokes at the end of the visit. Kudos!

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr. Gray from when my daughter was born until she was 10 months old, at which point we moved out of state and thus had to (unfortunately) find a new pediatrician. Perhaps this is dramatic to say, but I will always compare every pediatrician to Dr. Gray and I wish we could continue seeing her! We highly, highly recommend Parkside (excellent communication, a breeze with scheduling, etc), but especially Dr. Gray. She is compassionate, curious, and knowledgeable. She made us feel seen as new parents, showed genuine concern and curiosity in finding solutions to our daughters health issues, and wasn’t afraid to get a second set of eyes when needed. Instead of feeling like we were being talked at during appointments, she nurtured a feeling of mutual “we’re in this together”. She educated in a way that made us feel like we were a team and that our observations and concerns were valid and important. You might think that being in such a large practice it would feel like being just another patient, but Dr. Gray did the exact opposite. In short, Dr. Gray is the kind of person that you can tell was born to be a pediatrician! Can’t speak highly enough about her and Parkside.

Fantastic experience: SO thankful for Dr. Rogers. He is continuously patient, kind, thoughtful and always a listening ear. He has guided my husband and I with our first child and are so thankful for his wisdom. He has been our biggest supporter during some challenging times! The nurses and front desk staff are always kind, friendly and patient.

Fantastic experience: Best pediatric practice in the upstate! They have multiple locations and always are able to get my children in when needed. Highly recommend.
