National Kidney Foundation of Hawai’i: Opiniones
Experiencia negativa: WARNING. If you plan to donate your car. We donated our car over a year ago. It’s been a nightmare for us after receiving a speeding warning from DOT finding out from DMV that the title has not been transferred making us still legally responsible for the car. They need to fix this IMMEDIATELY and should supply donors a copy of the transfer paperwork to be sure title has been changed.
Experiencia negativa: I donated a car in January. Its now June. I haven't received one call or email regarding the donation of my car once they received it. I called today and the manager informed me it sold and they begin sending the tax donation receipts in July. Not a great way to run an agency.
Experiencia negativa: The PCR tester at Daniel Inouye Airport Table 5 at 2:45pm on March 29th, 2022 (5'6", male, cropped black hair) was very rude and impatient.
Experiencia fantástica: Did the free rapid covid test at HNL on 08/25/2021 pre registered online the night before and arrived about ten minutes before they opened at 9am. There was a lengthy line but it moved fairly quickly and I had completed my test by 10am. I received my results 6 hours later.
Experiencia positiva: You have to fill the forms out online and then they call you and give you more instructions. Actually pretty simple.
Experiencia fantástica: They are doing such an amazing job. I was here for the Covid test and cannot imagine a person guiding the patients all day. I was annoyed just by seeing one cause they end up sneezing like crazy while getting the test done, and they work so patiently with all the people. The staff is very generous.
Experiencia fantástica: All the workers are friendly and helpful
Experiencia fantástica: One of the nicest people I have ever met works at The Foundation, and made a lasting impression on me.
Mahalo for your very kind comment, Quintin! We take pride in serving our community and hope to serve you again soon!
Experiencia positiva: Literally just a drop off point in a small parking lot. Extremely easy to donate!
Aloha John! Thank you so much for your generous donation and feedback! Mahalo for support kidney health in Hawaii!
Experiencia negativa: Crooked people that lie about picking up your donations, so they steal your donations and don't give you a tax write-off.

Experiencia negativa: Corrupt tow company (and the tow company's affiliates) associated with kidney foundation. After giving the location of the car and informing them its parked on the street they towed it same day when i had no problems parking in the same spot and area. The tow company said HPD citied it for parking in a tow zone but there are no sign and ive lived there for 8 years with no one having any problems. The only tow zone was further down and painted red with a clear sign, but what makes no sense is that theres a van parked there for 3 days because it caught fire on the inside and fire dept broke its front windsheild and is a hazard...but still there with no ticket. So theres a corrupt officer in on the fun and games, probably just helping out relatives or friends but this is so wrong when people are doing things for the good. Better to take the vehicle directly to the kidney foundation and drop it off, unless its in your own stall or property then you should be ok. So now what was totally a painless process to donate has become a pain, we have to pay 85 to all island tow and another fee to kuni's tow and a bogus ticket.
Aloha S Faafiti,
