In the early days, the Family Practice of Bellview with Dr. Steed & their whole medical staff was exceptional. That 5 star Practice did become The Villages Health that we respect & love still today. & still 5 star! My Villages Health location is currently Santa Barbara & Dr. Pead & his staff. Their staff is excellent . His nurse practioner Syvia Wallace is beyond A Plus. My husband & I also have been patients at their Colony Cottage & Creekside locations and 5 star as well. Experiencia fantástica: I have been with the Villages Health for almost 9 years and am loving the care I have received. First is my primary who is incredibly bright, warm and a wonderful listener. Dr. Giovannelli!! She will work with you to achieve the health goals that are important to you. The best part about Villages Health is they are always available to you. I never have to go to urgent care. Today I was having an incredible pain in my thigh. I new if I went to the emergency room I would sit there for hours and in the end they would refer me back to my primary. So I called Villages Health and they saw me within an hour! It was with Dr. Giovannelli's nurse practitioner but that was fine. I knew if she couldn't handle it, Dr. Giovannelli would be there. However, the lovely and impressive nurse practioner, immediately sent me for xrays to determine where I had a pinched nerve. And quess what, the xrays are right there. No dealing with Lake Imaging! The xray tech was also amazing! I am waiting for the results with the knowledge that Dr. Giovannelli and her nurse practioner will both review the results and come up with the right game plan!! The only way I would leave the Villages Health is if they throw me out!

Experiencia fantástica: A new review, date 10/4/24: I was having some issues with tape, EKG pads and surgery sticky pads following my aortic valve replacement surgery. I was nervous being a male and Kaley being a female nurse practioner since many of the issues with skin torn removing the sticky tape, bandages and pads were in my genitals area. I'm almost 70 and standing with my genitals exposed to a stranger is not a thing I want to do. Kaley was very professional, put me at ease, provided a course of action to take as well as what not to do. The staff, nurse practioners, and Dr Ramsey are always professional, very caring, understanding, helpful, and make me feel better about my conditions and confident that I'm in good hands. This facility is awesome! Dr Ramsey is my primary care Dr. She listens and is very caring. Never rushed you and always asks if there is any other issues I may have that I have not mentioned thus far. She is very thorough and it always leaves feeling positive about the future of my health. I like her personality and "bedside manner" so to speak. Very little wait time when you arrive for your appointment. I mean wait a few minutes! You're also waiting in a living room environment, comfortable cushioned chairs and couches, with something to read. All staff including the Medical Assistants are are always smiling, cheerful,very caring and considerate. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Every time I have to visit the villages health in Santa Barbara I am never disappointed. I always get in on time and dealing with the nurses is wonderful but the cherry on top of the cake is my doctor, Frank Melidona. He never rushes you. He answers all your questions but most while he listens and he hears what you’re saying he doesn’t just shake his head and act like he’s listening. Now of all the doctors in the village of like him, we probably hear less complaining on next-door.

Dr. Snyder immediately came in after my vitals were taken and we reviewed my blood work up and had all questions answered. I received my yearly flu shot and everything went as smooth as possible. I was very happy with the service and the office staff in its entirety.

This terrible disease affecting elderly people, affects not only the individual but those who in the background assisting their loved one. The classes that Melissa Denham has taught, we had never been exposed to previously, and found them both personally beneficial as well as enlightening, in areas we never contemplated before. I would highly recommend Melissa Denhams’ Dementia Program to anyone who is involved with or in this terrible disease. Melissa has put together a 10 week program for the dementia caregiver and patient that helped prepare us for what is ahead. All my questions were answered plus Melissa provided good reviews of all the many resources that are available in the area. Melissa has a passion for helping the dementia family and it shows. If I could give her 10 stars I would!

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I just completed the 11 week Dementia Care Group, run by Melissa Denham. In this program, the caregivers meet separately and are educated and guided towards how to deal with things that may occur in the various stages that their loved ones may travel through. During these sessions, the "patients" are attending "Brain Gym" where they get to exercise their minds along with doing physical and agility activities. The entire staff is very dedicated and everyone is treated with the upmost respect. I would highly encourage anyone who is dealing with caring for a loved one in a dementia situation, to get into this program. It is cost free and essential.

My best experience ever with a Practitioner. Kaley listened to me, made logical recommendations and put together a plan for me to follow.
