Experiencia negativa: I had the misfortune of seeing this provider after a referral from my PCP. She was condescending, offered little advice or resources outside of generic, easily accessible and free handouts from the internet. After explaining I had to extensive knowledge of food labels, carb counting from previous nutrition counseling she had nothing new or helpful to add to the conversation. After reading the appointment summary report, she also greatly embellished what was covered in a 15 minute session including subjects we did not discuss and misconstrued my comments to take them out of context. She might be helpful if you are completely inexperienced with things such as calorie counting, carb exchange or what foods are a complex carb vs simple carb, how to calculate fiber intake, etc and their functions within the body. However, if you are looking for a collaborative effort that requires not reading from a handout, I would suggest a different provider.

I am a new patient and I’ve only had one interaction so far but it has been a very positive experience. I made the appointment on Monday and saw her Tuesday morning. This clinic is awesome! The front desk lady was super nice and accommodating. The heartbeat of the clinic is not just the providers but everyone else making things happen.

Experiencia positiva: My only disappointment was that the clinic is no longer stocking the Calorie King Journal for patients who do not use cell phones to record diet intake. This is a major problem for me. They can order as few as 20 from the publisher but I am having troube finding any elsewhere. I will probably need 3 before I take off my desired amount. The staff told me some others are also disappointed.
