Experiencia fantástica: Coach KJ was amazing and very welcoming as were the local members. I am sure this location is used to a large number of drop ins especially during vacation season. I can tell you I didn’t feel like an outsider. I met some very nice people and Coach KJ was very accommodating to adapt to my mobility limitations after knee surgery and upcoming shoulder surgery. I will return and I am grateful for the experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a member of this gym for about a year and a half. The programming is smart, coaching is personalized to my goals, gym/equipment is clean, parking is easy, and the community is the BEST. It's NOT a super "CrossFit-ty" gym. Like, people wear shirts and there aren't a lot of big egos. Good mix of ages and abilities. I love the Summers because we get so many drop-ins and it's fun to make new friends with similar interests!

They pushed me, and even lent me wrist wraps when I forgot mine. The members were super welcoming, and friendly to drop ins. Highly recommend!

I’ve tried many gyms in the area, and this gym has incredibly friendly people, a great atmosphere, very reasonable prices, and it’s a no-brainer as far as I’m concerned. If you’re looking for a gym in the area, don’t hesitate, this place is the real deal.

Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I had the chance to spend 4 + weeks with COIB. We were very pleased with the programming and attention to detail by the majority of the coaches. We could generally always count on a solid warm up, the WOD being broken down piece by piece, an engaged coach during the WOD, and specific mobility focused cool downs. The atmosphere was equally great. The COIB family really adopted us and made us feel at home from day one. We hope to return in the future to train with our friends.

Experiencia fantástica: I own CrossFit Simplicity in Burlington NC and was down in Ocean Isle with family this week. I dropped in to CrossFit Ocean Isle twice and had an amazing experience both times! Facility was great, coaching was very good, and atmosphere and vibe was very welcoming! They obviously get a lot of drop-in’s this time of year and Karen did an excellent job managing larger classes and making the experience a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend CrossFit Ocean Isle to anyone in town dropping in or anyone in the area looking for a good CrossFit home! See you guys next year!

This type of workout reminds me of the old school gyms back in the day, no mirrors, no pretense, no judgement, just good solid hard work with someone there to help you if you can't figure it out. The spin classes are great as well, not "easy" like everyone thinks! A real workout! I love it there and am glad to be part of the CFOIB Family, best decision I have made for myself all year!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Attn all travelers taking a vacation near OIB NC - this is your place to drop-in and get a WOD. I have been to close to 500 boxes across the world and can fully appreciate a well run gym and a great community. CF-OIB is top notch. Beautiful facility with all the gear you need and a great balance of 'attention to detail' without getting too 'posh'. I dropped in on a Sat morning and had free reign to get my own programming done. I met some awesome members and a bunch of other drop-ins! Great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Such a nice little gem in Ocean Isle! It was a little tricky to find (don't trust your google maps!), but the programs were great, the equipment was nice, the space was huge, and the people were so friendly. They're really flexible about open gym time, too, so you can do your own programming if you want, but their wods are written really well. Just make sure to get there about 15 minutes early and get the warm up in! I even got a little bit of help with muscle ups. Austin and Teisha were great, and I got to meet both Karens. I'm a lucky girl :) Thanks, CFOIB!

Experiencia fantástica: I dropped in for a week at CFOIB while on Spring Break. Karen, Stephanie, and Amy are all awesome trainers. The WODs were great, and CFOIB has a great community. I felt welcomed as if I was at my own box. The trainers were big on safety and one-on-one instruction when needed. Everyone was super friendly and encouraging. I look forward to dropping in again for Spring Break 2017! Keep up the great work, CFOIB!

Experiencia fantástica: Great Gym! I often visit the North Myrtle Beach area and this is my Crossfit Gym away from home. I have tried others in the area but this one is by far my favorite. Everyone is extremely friendly and felt very welcomed just as if I was one of the regulars. See you again real soon!

Experiencia fantástica: I wish that I lived here so that this could be my home box! My family has a house in Myrtle beach, so whenever I have the opportunity to stay there, I always schedule time to head out to Crossfit OIB. There are three or four other Crossfits places that are closer, but nothing matches the friendliness of the trainers and members. The workouts are varied and I have been there for various partner workouts as well. I'm not much of an extrovert, but the members were so inviting and quickly asked me if I had a partner and made sure I was ready to go with someone. Stop in, because this place is great!

Experiencia fantástica: My sister and I went here last week. She left a few days before I did, so I had to go by myself for the last couple of days. It was a blast! The workouts were great, the people were so friendly. The Box was nice and big and there was enough equipment to accommodate everyone. I really appreciated how they took the time to help with moves that I'd never done before. It was a great time, and I got to pet Fenway and get my dog fix in for the week!

Experiencia fantástica: Attended a Friday 6am class at Crossfit Ocean Isle Beach while on vacation. The coach(Ralph) was very personable from the get go. I arrived a few minutes early and the gym was already open for free warm up time. I had already completed the WOD at my own box so I was a little hesitant about attending but the atmosphere was awesome. Athletes of all ages, sizes, and genders were busting their butts to complete the WOD. Everyone was friendly and accommodating as I knew where nothing was! It was a great overall experience! Will be going back when I vacation at Ocean Isle Beach!

Experiencia fantástica: I had the good fortune to visit CFOIB while vacationing in Oak Island. It's worth the 40 minute drive! I was able to attend two WODs while in the area and both were very challenging! I got to work with Karen Jones Jeff Beck and Richie while in town. All were very professional and very encouraging. The regular members welcomed me like one of their own. Can't wait to make it back to the beach!
