Experiencia fantástica: I have been seeing Dr. Shipes and her team for years. On occasion I have to visit another spa because of logistics, and I regret it each and every time. If you ask the ladies to ‘freeze your forehead’, they will freeze your forehead. They will not leave you in a weird spot between kind of being able to make a surprised look and seeing those wrinkles or dropping your eyebrow so you look like Quasimodo. I have been 100% happy every single time. Dr. Shipes knows everything about your face muscles and how the work and how they work together and has perfect results. It’s magic. I have had perfect Botox, perfect lip injections, the High Frequency Ultrasound Vaginal Tightening which I’ve had no complaints about, and my mother has had threading. All perfect. 200% recommend.

Experiencia negativa: Put me on hold for a long time just to get an appt. The bot service is useless , no one calls back when you msg them. The guy at the reception is rude and has no manners at all. Beware .

Experiencia negativa: Horrible. They do not stand behind their services, products or word. They lack the expertise and knowledge needed to run a real medical spa. The staff is not familiar with their machines or how to use them. I had to seek alternate medical treatment for the damage done to my face. I would not recommend Luxe Medical Spa or Dr. Shipes to anyone ever under any circumstances..

Experiencia fantástica: This place is breath of fresh air compared to other spas. The staff is not only incredibly knowledgeable and talented but they are so incredibly kind. I feel safe and comfortable with these people and I know that the products and services are being sold and performed by a well trained staff and physician. I came in for low energy, poor sleep, and overall poor sense of well being. After an exam and some testing, the treatments that I have received have changed my life. I honestly feel like I’m 18 again. Thank you Dr Shipes and your wonderful staff for the world class care you provide. You’ve got a customer for life!

Experiencia fantástica: I have to confess I am utterly shocked by the negative reviews of this facility and Dr. Shipes. She and John have been phenomenal from the get-go. I found them originally through Groupon -- bought several for laser hair removal from different spas when I first moved to TX -- and Luxe was the best facility with the best laser and the best staff hands down. Dr. Shipes takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions. I've also seen her now for Botox and for threading, as well as HRT and she's been phenomenal through every procedure. She never gives the hard sell and always ensures I understand exactly what to expect. And having compared to other area spas, as well as those I visited back in Philadelphia, her pricing structure is more than fair. If you are interested in stalling the aging process, but want more information, and the chance to ask a myriad of questions, Luxe is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Best IPL treatment I have had. Dr. Ships made it real comfortable and went over the worst spots for a better treatment. She scheduled a follow up visit to see the changes. I had expected her to recommend a 2nd treatment. She was very honest and explained to me that I didn't need a 2nd treatment and just needed to wait and keep exfoliating my skin to remove the remaining spots.

Experiencia negativa: I am still on shock at the terrible Botox I received. I bought a package that included up to 45 or 50 , before in other spas ...you get about 35 or so.. then come back and get the rest so you can judge and decided where to inject... Not this place. They loaded all of them in. Let me tell you what happened as a result.. the injections left my eyes in that comical over Botox way, super surprised and artificial. Also, one eye was higher than the other. However, the part in which I came close to legal action over... she injected above my upper lip...saying easy quick way to plump up the top lip vs injections into lip. Well let me tell you the result of that.... I was left with a LISP for four weeks. Embarrassing one. It was terrible and humiliating. I went to a real plastic surgeon who was horrified at the entire process. In further research, the doctor is recently licensed and moonlights at an urgent care..... Also, the injections hurt incredibly. Leaving a dark bruise outside my eye. She is nice as well as her brother. However, I cannot overlook the sense of chaos at the facility. You do feel like cattle getting the cheap Groupon deal. You get what you pay for. I saw them at the previous Allen location, which was inside a strip hair salon experience. Lots of running back and forth from random offices and just chaos. Never again. This experience affected my ability to do my real job and the embarassement of seeing friends and general public talking like an idiot.

Experiencia negativa: This place is awful. I don't know how this place any good reviews. I have been nothing but disappointed with them. First of all, Sheryl has stood me up twice. I used to live in the area, but now I live in Forney. I have driven all the way to Luxe in Allen and Frisco from Forney to have her not show up to my appointment. Secondly, the laser hair removal doesn't even work. I have gone nine times now and I still have hairy armpits. Sheryl has told me that this was due to the incompetence from the other employees. And for the grand finale, Brooke and Julie (the other employees) are extremely rude. They are judgmental, sassy, and disrespectful. I will not tolerate this attitude from any place of work that I am giving my money to. Do not waste your time, money, or your stress.

Experiencia positiva: Although my appointment was somehow lost, they did take me in for my Botox. Both ladies were wonderful and very informative. I have already mentioned this med spa to my coworkers. Work done was impressive. Thank you ladies!

Experiencia negativa: I purchased 6 laser treatments in June. I scheduled my first appt June 29th. I scheduled the remaining sessions every 4 weeks. In July I added an additional 6 sessions for another area. I was told by Dr. Shipes that the laser went out and had to be replaced. She said she was giving me 3 additional sessions for the inconvenience. I always had great service till today. When checking out the rude receptionist said I didn’t have anymore sessions. I then explained what Dr Shipes told me when the laser was out. She had the nerve to tell me they were running a business and couldn’t give away free sessions. I’m not asking for free sessions. I want what i payed for. The laser was out and the sessions continued. I noticed no results. This is why the 3 additional sessions were given. She said this was my 9th session. I left and said I’d call when I could check my emails to confirm my sessions. Each visit you get a Thank you email. I called confirming i had 6 sessions on one area and 7 on another. She said I don’t know what to tell you. You got all your sessions. I simply only want the sessions that I paid for when the laser was working. She hung up on me. It’s simple do the math. One appt per month. You can only schedule at the earliest every 3 weeks. I choose 4 to make sure the follical fell out. Because legally they didn’t give me my last session I’m filing a lawsuit. I was treated horribly. Please go somewhere else. I was humiliated! I had all intentions of scheduling another 6 sessions on another area after the holiday and will be going to another practice. I was referred by a friend and told her how horrible I was treated and she won’t be returning. Sorry for the typos. Im upset and using my iPhone.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been here 3 times and every time Dr Shipes is SO informative! I have referred a couple friends here because I love her cleanliness, kindness, and knowledge! I will never go anywhere else and can't wait for her to open her own spa in a few weeks!!

Experiencia positiva: I was impressed with the services. I went in for 20 units of Botox (purchased via a Groupon) to treat my crow's feet. The doctor was very friendly and looked at the area and recommended the injections in several different areas around my eyes. The injections went well. It has been a little bit less than a week since I had them and I do see a noticeable difference. I will see how it changes as time progresses and how long it lasts. I think that this was a great price and the results were great as well. I will return possibly for other services and definitely for Botox. One thing to note is the office is in one of those buildings with multiple businesses and each office has their own room. The LUXE room was very clean, nicely decorated and inviting.

Experiencia fantástica: I was gifted a Groupon for botox, but after consulting with Dr. Snipes decided it wasn't the treatment I am needing at this time. I did a hydrafacial instead and loved it. Dr. Snipes and John were very friendly and educated. I highly recommend this spa!

Experiencia negativa: I recently bought the groupon Luxe Medical Spa offered for 20 units of botox. I traveled out of state to go to this place while visiting my mom. Due to traveling with children I was running late for my appointment. (5hr drive two kids: son 4 daughter 10 months) I called their office ALL day long. Never got ahold of anyone to ask to reschedule to a later time. Drove straight to their office where the lady who rudely referred to herself as an "RN" fought with my mother to agree to honor the groupon. I understand I was late but what business does not answer their phone? The lady also rudely said "We have 1,000 patients"...but not one person to answer their phone? And it's not like of those "1,000 patients" she's caring for every single day. This is a spa...not caring for sick patients in a hospital. The biggest complaint I have is while they did go ahead and honor my groupon (Thanks) I now have a LUMP IN MY FOREHEAD. and I'm two weeks out. I am beginning to wonder if they put saline or something in my face. Horrible service! Please just buy botox for a non-discounted price somewhere else. I've learned my lesson!! In response to the owner's reply...... NO this was my FIRST and last groupon buy from Luxe Medical Spa. That was a lie. I have never been to your spa before and I won't be returning. I don't think a business should be ran without a proper phone service. Step #1. Especially with your $200 cancellation fee you should be answering your phones. I wouldn't be as hostile of a customer had I not known how RUDELY you spoke to my mother. She's a human being. The blonde who gave us our injections was a hateful and distasteful person. This is not how you treat customers who give you their money. BUYER BEWARE

The doctor and nurse explained everything in detail and encouraged my input in every aspect of the treatment. I will definitely be back and I will recommend this facility to all my friends...

Experiencia positiva: This was my first time at this office. I usually get 20 units of Botox every 3-4 months. This is enough to keep the lines on my forehead away. However, there was a great deal on Groupon for 40 units and I decided to splurge. The girl that did my injections was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. I've never experienced any type of bruising ever and this time, I did. I had a bruise beside my eye and one on my forehead. They didn't cause me any pain but they were noticeable. The most disappointing thing though is that my forehead looks exactly the same. So, I'm wondering if Dysport was used in place of Botox? (Dysport doesn't work for me) or, if it was the placement of the Botox? Whatever the reason, it was a waste of $300. Unfortunately I can't afford to go somewhere else to get it redone for awhile.
