It’s a great environment with great equipment and coaches that is built for athletes to succeed. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Experiencia fantástica: PCSP is not your average gym, they range from entry level fitness classes to personal 1 on 1 training sessions dedicated to your sport’s specific needs. This is nothing like a commercial gym, the community at PCSP is unmatched. the support you receive for any goal you’re trying to reach, each and everybody dogs included want to see you succeed. 24/7 access, dog friendly, you forgot your snack or drink… vending machine full of protein snacks and pre workout drinks at the front this gym is a gold mine

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first experience with a smaller, non-commercial, sport specific facility. It was overall a great experience, 24/7 access and the times I attended, I was typically the only person there, which I prefer. The gym is dog friendly and I brought my pups a handful of times. I would have loved to keep my membership but it's a bit out of the way (easier for me to walk to the UNCW rec center) and I'm transitioning away from strength sports. If you've got a need for specialized equipment(log, yoke, competition benches/racks, etc), this is the only place probably within an hour of Wilmington that will satisfy those needs. I highly recommend it for people who are interested in powerlifting, oly lifting and strongman in the area. It's hard finding a gym for those sports that doesn't focus on crossfit as their primary business model. PCSP serves multiple sports and disciplines very well. The staff are quick to respond via text/social media, and always have your best interest in mind.

Experiencia positiva: It’s an awesome gym! All the powerlifting equipment you would ever need. Only draw back is it’s SUPER hot. No AC; just a bunch of fans. If that doesn’t bother you and you’re super dedicated, this is the place for you!

Recently cancelled simply for the fact I’ve invested more in my home gym and focusing on my Olympic training. Could definitely see myself signing back up in the future. Experiencia fantástica: PCSP is one of the best gyms I have had the privilege to train at! The powerlifting and strong man equipment is world class. The collection of chains, bands and power racks is impressive… However the real magic of this gym is the people. From military active duty/retired veterans to professional Highland games competitors, powerlifters, college athletes, competitive bodybuilders, world class BJJ champions and professional MMA fighters. PCSP has incredible athletes!! I recommend this gym to any one that wants to take their training to the next level.

Experiencia fantástica: Port City Sports Performance is a one stop shop for any serious power lifter, strongman, or bodybuilder. Those were the amenities that stuck out to me, but they offer so much more, and there was a real sense of community as well. I came to the gym for the first time to attend a seminar, Coach Lewis greeted me at the door with a smile and a tour. Great atmosphere! If you are looking to train in the Wilmington area , this IS the place !

Experiencia fantástica: Had a chance to attend a seminar here. They brought in two of the best and were gracious enough to shut down the gym for the day just to avoid issues. The facility is top notch, especially for powerlifting! Check them out if you’re in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: Convenient 24 hour access, no nonsense, no pressure. Not a place to see and be seen, come as you are. Safe and comfortable even at 5am. Sometimes there are puppies!

Experiencia fantástica: I like Jeremy's beard. It looks manly. Also PCSP has a great atmosphere for athletes and regular gym goers that take their training seriously. The gym has something for everyone. It has all of the equipment of a commercial gym along with powerlifting and strongman equipment.

Experiencia fantástica: I signed up for Jiujitsu and did that for a year. This was my first time ever doing jiujitsu. The group and coaches are welcoming. The coaches and other students understood I was new, and they all just wanted to help. Its just a great atmosphere all around. Wish I could give 6 stars. Thanks guys, I look forward to returning soon.

Experiencia negativa: Got a month membership here during the COVID-19 shutdown since the gym was using the medical loophole to stay open. Pretty expensive, especially since all the equipment there is rusty. I showed up once and the doors were locked during normal hours; when I texted the owner about it, he was rude at first and then didn’t respond. Can’t wait to go back to my normal gym when this pandemic ends!

Experiencia fantástica: I decided to join after the YMCA guttes their weightlifting area, I walked in and instantly felt that this was the gym for me, the coaches and staff are excellent and preach form and the quality of lift vs quantity of weight. It's family and dog friendly as I bring my dog all the time. The BJJ is headed by instructors at the level of UFC professionals. Bring your kids to learn self defense while you get your pump on. This also provides true 24 hour access with options to play music on the speakers instead of wearing headphones that get covered in sweat from your workout.
