Experiencia negativa: This place is an absolute scam, after weeks of waiting to hear back from them to do insurance verification I finally got a call back that they were finally referring me to the shipping department to get my in home sleep study equipment. A week later I get a phone call from a random unknown 925 area code number asking me for my credit card info to pay for shipping charges? At first I thought it was a scam so I called their local 562 number and confirmed that they apparently subcontract out the sleep study to a place called iSleep but bill Medicare as if they are doing the sleep study themselves, pretty sure that's fraud. Seems like they are getting kickbacks or fraudulently billing Medicare for services they aren't even providing themselves. Apparently if you have PPO insurance they do in center sleep studies, any other insurance they subcontract it out. Never made it to their mouthpiece sales pitch, it's probably just one you can do yourself on Amazon that they'll bill your insurance company an egregious amount of money for. I would steer clear of this place, I will seek a new referral from my primary care physician to another place.

Experiencia negativa: I just had my 15 minute consultation, and I will begin by saying the person doing the consultation was very nice and professional. Five stars for him. However, I was looking for a place I could get a sleep study done and a diagnosis whether I have sleep apnea or not, THEN consider treatment options. Looking at the website, this appears to be a sleep center, where they conduct the sleep test (yes, at home, which is what I wanted), and you have the option of treatments, which includes a cpap if needed, etc. This is not the case. They outsource the sleep study, another doctor provides the diagnosis, then Everest center doctor goes over the study with you and discusses the custom mouth guard thing with you. Upon hearing the cost of the mouth guard, I told the consultant that it would not be my first choice, and that I would probably do the cpap if diagnosed. They do not have the cpap or supplies, as their website seems to show. They refer this out as well. I feel as if I was tricked to sit through a 15 minute commercial for an expensive mouth guard when I clicked to have a consultation from what I thought was a legit sleep center on whether I should even consider having a sleep study conducted or not.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Qui takes forever to see you. I've had to wait a number of hours before being seen and this place & it is a long drive for me. Dr. Qui is not that knowledgeable and doesn't feel responsible for complications from the oral appliance. My TMJ has gotten worse from this treatment and they expect an absurd amount of $$$$ even if you don't want treatment anymore. They charge you for a full treatment but if you don't pay for the "full" treatment within 45 days they threaten to send you to collections.

Experiencia negativa: If you have ever had a sleep study done before, you will likely notice a different feeling all together. I think it's largely focused encouraging at your home sleep study (not in clinic sleep study) and selling an expensive mouth piece instead of a CPAP. Quick at getting me to do an, at home study. Quick at getting the results. Quick at seeing the doctor to go over the results. Everest had all my insurance information and knew what I qualified for before doing anything at Everest. I have had sleep studies both in clinic and home. Now all they do, is send the prescription and sleep study to a provider to furnish a CPAP. I asked them last week why they haven't sent it to the provider and they said they still had some insurance to clear up. (They would not have done the study or doctor visit if my insurance wasn't verified). I asked them if they would give me the prescription and study and I would find a provider. Big pause! I'll ask if I can do that. IT'S A PRESCRIPTION! Well that was last week and we are now ending another week and nothing has been done. I let them know I had no interest in the mouth piece and I just wanted the CPAP. They want to sell the mouth piece. They have nothing to sell or gain now since another company provides the CPAP machine. I have since had to write a letter to Everest Sleep Center: I have been waiting for a call, text or email to pick up a CPAP and have yet to receive any contact from Everest or DME. I did sleep study Jan 9, 2025 and turned in Jan 13, 2025. I went over results with Dr. Henry Qiu on Jan 15,2025. I called the DME to confirm they had received results and prescription and they had not. I call Everest approximately a week later and they needed more time. I asked for my sleep study and prescription but woman at Everest told me they don't do that but she would ask. Not a word since. I was perfectly clear with Dr. Henry Qiu as well as his staff that my CPAP was giving an error message and had already shut down at least once. It is imperative to my health I get another CPAP and therefor will hold Everest Sleep Study and Dr. Henry Qiu liable should my health suffer in anyway which can be attributable to not sleeping. Whether I receive a call from Everest Sleep Center or not, I will be filing a complaint with Medicare and my secondary insurance today for not providing proper healthcare. Feb 4, 2025

Experiencia negativa: This place is a scam, You pay $395 upfront for a sleep study (then they don’t want to send you your results) and bill your insurance or out of pocket of 5k+ an absurd amount. My insurance was billed and we haven’t started anything. This is a dental office looking to attract more patients by pushing unnecessary mouth guard treatments causing unnecessary weekly visits. The reviews are all 5 star because they bribe you to submit a review in front of them and they enter your name into a raffle. They push their treatment or nothing else, they stop being accountable once you decline services. Update: Still no word or call back smh

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic experience with the sleep guard. The sleep test results show marked improvement. Dr Q takes time to explain and answer any/all quedtions that arise.

Experiencia fantástica: Very welcoming staff and very high-tech equipment! Dr Qui is gentle and very professional in his approach to dentistry. One stop does it all, cleaning (top-notch), fillings, implants and crowns (did not have to go to different specialist for each procedure.)

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Qiu has a great bedside manner and you can tell he really cares about his patients. Also the office staff is super friendly. I appreciate that they call to confirm appointments etc. I went in for help with my sleep apnea curious but skeptical. After getting the appliance, I went from epic snoring, Embarrassed to have anyone Sleepover, falling asleep during the day at work, while driving, at the movies, etc., to very light or zero snoring and being able to actually get the rest needed from sleep. Now I have energy throughout the day, I can do sleepovers and I can stay awake through a full movie! Life changing! Life saving actually…

He’s now sleeping 7-8hrs which is something he wasn’t doing. He would only sleep 3-4hrs and feel like he wouldn’t rest.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had a mild form of sleep apnea for as long as I can remember and it was just something I put up with. I would wake up in the middle of the night and constantly felt like I needed to use the bathroom which in turn interrupted my sleep. I would feel tired mid day and it wasn’t until I finally decided to get a sleep study done with Everest Sleep Center where I discovered exactly how many times I was waking up. Dr.Qiu did an amazing job explaining potential causes for my sleep interruptions and recommended several different options I could pursue to improve my sleep quality. I opted for the oral appliance as I wasn’t looking to do a full on Cpap machine. The procedure was simple and easy, all I had to do was get my mouth measured by Sleep Everests 3D scanners and a mold of my bite was generated within the same day. They then ordered my appliance and Dr.Qiu did custom adjustments to ensure it fit perfectly. So far so good, as I’ve been sleeping uninterrupted! My partner is happy and I’m feeling amazing. Highly recommend Everest Sleep center.. this place knows what they’re doing when it comes to optimizing sleep quality.

Experiencia fantástica: When I first found out that I had sleep apnea, I didn't really believe it. I wasn't overweight, didn't drink, didn't smoke, and exercised regularly, and felt that my sleep was fine, and I especially didn't want to use a CPAP machine. After being diagnosed and talking with Dr. Qiu, I started using a sleep guard at night, and though I didn't initially notice a difference, there was a period of time when I stopped using it and found out that I was more lethargic and had less energy in the mornings. Whenever I have questions, Dr. Qiu responds to them in an informative and timely manner, and I found that now, I have a better sleep schedule and wake up naturally and more refreshed. It's been a pleasant experience for me, from the teeth scanning, bite check, and initial usage of the sleep guard to now, and I'm grateful for him since I feel much more well rested and know that I'm able to get the questions I have answered quickly with issues or concerns. I highly recommend going to Dr. Qiu if you have any sleep issues and want to improve the quality of your sleep!

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to this clinic when I found out that I may have sleep apnea. Staff is super friendly and supportive. They made me feel very welcomed and comfortable before I saw the doctor. The wait time was very minimum and the lobby was very comfortable. First meeting: Dr. Qiu consulted with me on what sleep apnea is, and what kind of devices are used to help resolve that issue. After our conversation, we ordered the sleep study device. The sleep device arrived very quickly and was very easy to use. It stayed on during my sleep and logged a lot of information on my sleep patterns. Second meeting (2/7/2023): Dr. Qiu went over the results and informed that I have moderate sleep apnea. Unfortunately that means I stop breathing at least 114 times and my heart rate goes up to 115 bpm which is a light jog. I also found out that my nasal cavity may be impacting my sleep quality as well but that's a conversation for another vendor. After analyzing my sleep data, we did the molding for the mouth guard that will be used to help my sleep apnea. The process was very easy and noninvasive. Dr. Qiu was gentle and checked in with me during the whole process. He also provided check up on my wisdom teeth and the state of my teeth since he is also a dentist! Great care and service. Third meeting (3/2/2023): I came back to the office to pick up my mouth guard. The process took some time since they needed to make sure that the guard fit perfectly with enough adjustments to help support my health condition. Dr. Qiu and his assistant gave a lot of suggestions and advice on how to take care of the device and what to expect from using the device as well. I felt very supported and confident in using the device after I left the office. Fourth meeting (5/3/2023): We did a brief conversation on how its going with my experience. My sleep quality has improved significantly in the last couple months. I have not experienced brain fog nor had the need to take afternoon naps. I was informed that I still have around a full month of adjustments to go. I highly recommend this clinic. They genuinely cared about my experience, and gave me a lot of supportive tips on how to take care of my sleep health. The mouth guard was really easy to use and easy to adjust. I highly recommend coming to this clinic to learn more about sleep health, participate in their effective sleep study, and learn if you have sleep apnea. If people in your life snore, experience brain fog or have poor sleep quality, you should share this clinic with them.
