Experiencia negativa: I am over 39 weeks pregnant and due anytime now. Based on their website they provide pregnancy care. So, I went in to help position baby for smooth labor and help my body prepare for labor. But the doctor did not touch any labor acupressure points and told me he does not recommend acupuncture or acupressure unless you are in active labor in a hospital. When I called for appointment I specifically mentioned what my expectation is and they said Dr Flynn can definitely help. But during the appointment he told me he cannot do acupuncture and refrained from acupressure of any labor inducing points. Instead he did head/face acupressure as that would help energize my body. I ended up paying fees for something I did not ask for. Plus it changed nothing for me. Not sure why they would book me in when I told them what I was exactly looking for. It was just a waste of time and money for me. It wasn't worth the visit.

The task that was hardest for me to do was done with ease!! And so much more comfortable sleeping. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. I am elated that I came here! Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Wang is an absolute miracle worker!! And the front staff members are very friendly and patient. I had neck and arm pain for months! I had the most difficult time walking due to the shooting pain. I tried chiropractic and physical therapy work many times and medication from the doctor - nothing worked. My PCP wanted me to see an orthopedic surgeon. I wanted something less invasive before going down the surgery route. I'm so happy and relieved I insisted trying accupuncture. My pain has almost completely subsided after only one visit with Dr. Wang. I was able to actually go on a hike (Pleasanton Ridge) after months of extreme pain from even walking around the neighborhood and park.

Her staff has increased to include other practitioners of different eastern body practice- acupressure, energy therapy and reflexology. It’s great to have them Under one roof. I have seen them for foot issues after surgery, neck issues, and some lower leg concerns. I have generally found relief and no longer use medicines regularly or chiropractic, even. I recommend giving this office and staff a try!

Based on my ailments, particularly my back pain, I thought Jax Chou would be the best fit. And he was, very compassionate and understanding doctor. Experiencia fantástica: Came here on a whim, looking for help with low back pain (post outpatient surgery 1yr prior) and plantar fasciitis in both feet. I called, looking to make an appt, and was asked if I could make it to the office in 30mins due to a cancellation. My response, “I’m already on my way!” I’ve had Accupuncture done before, but not with these results. Then follow it up with cupping, which I’ve been skeptical of, and wow, I left feeling so relaxed. I’m now here for my third visit and can say, although the results weren’t immediate, and the pain hasn’t fully subsided, by the 2nd treatment, I felt a noticeable difference in pain levels. Key take aways, we’re hard on our bodies, sleeping less, working longer hours with poor posture (“tech neck”), what do you have to lose in caring for yourself? Consistency’s key here

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Teresa Shen did an amazing job helping me with ear pressure (Eustachian tube dysfunction) along with neck, back, shoulder, and arm pain. She utilized cupping, acupressure, and acupuncture all done in the office, along with herbs to take home. After the 90 minute session I am feeling very free, lightweight, and uplifted. I can feel the tension easing and my muscles feel very relaxed. Definitely worth the time and would recommend to anyone to come here and see what Dr. Shen can do to help resolve any problems you may have with your health.

Now I have asked him to attempt to try to fix my knees and shoulders. I would really recommend him as he is one of the best at his job.

Experiencia fantástica: Eastern Medical center is such a life-saver and life-changing place! My son is being treated there for migraines and nerve pain from an injury. He sees Dr. Shen and has finally gotten so much better—after MONTHS of physical therapy, MRIs and other specialists wanting to put him on medication with scary side effects. Here, they’ve been able to treat the root cause which has made all the difference. I see Dr. shen for cosmetic acupuncture which has been as effective as Botox. Dr. Jax has treated me for issues related to hormones and uses herbs to treat different issues. And my daughter sees Tatyana for help with her ADHD-she does cranial-sachrial(sp?) massage. The front desk staff is amazing-we have to give a shout out to Puck! Can you tell we love it here!? We see everyone for just about everything! And prior to coming here we were NOT acupuncture people . We are such believers now. I see Han for acupressure and it has absolutely helped with my aching shoulder. I highly recommend them for both acupuncture and acupressure. The office is also very clean and calming you almost feel like you're at a spa.

Experiencia fantástica: Best acupuncture in Bay Area, went there for sleeping, anxiety and stomach issue and Dr Eric and Dr Shen help me back to my normal self. Suffered a couple of emotional distress from couple of deaths in the family and in turned took the hardest toll on my health but Dr Shen and Dr Eric helped me not only on physical but also emotional recovery. Dr Shen put a balance to my well being by using acupuncture and Dr Eric helped improved my sleep. I am forever grateful for both of them.

Being that it was my first time, I was highly surprised at the immediate results. I was seen by Dr. Dooling who specializes in Seitai Shinpo (Japanese Structural Acupuncture). I felt like I was breathing fresh air once my treatment was complete. I also experienced with acupressure with Dr. Han. The physical therapy-like treatment was amazing and loosened me up. The best advice I can give is to give your body its rights when in need of rest. I look forward to trying the different methods of treatment Dr. Shen and her practitioners have to offer.

Experiencia fantástica: Eastern Medical Center is a life saver! I recently broke my hand and after visiting the orthopedic surgeon I was given a brace and pain pills... gotta love western medicine. Knowing I wasn’t going to take the pain pills I began looking for alternatives to help with the recovery process. Over and over again I was seeing and hearing acupuncture is the way to go. Seeing how I’m not a fan of needles I was a little hesitant to give acupuncture a try but figured anything is better than pumping myself full of meds. After researching a few local options Eastern Medical Center seemed to be the best option and let’s just say I couldn’t be happier. I was initially treated by Dr Wang and upon my next visit with my orthopedic surgeon I was told “your hand is healing extremely fast”. Needless to say I’m still going to EMC today. Recently I’ve been working with Dr Shen to eliminate some reoccurring headaches I’ve had for years... haven’t had one since my second treatment. I’m extremely thankful that I found Eastern Medical Center or as I like to call them “The Fountain of Youth”!!!

Every time I leave my appointment I feel renewed and pain free which is so important to me as I've suffered from pain since I was 13. He relieves any tension I have. He really works wonders. I've gone to different chiropractors but when I am in pain I go to him and I am instantly healed. He understands different meridians of the body and points in which to help the person. My mother and I are huge fans and pray Clinton never leaves!!! He is such a joy and has helped our health immensely. Another plus is the cupping they have here. I was in a car accident that has left me pretty much immobile for 7 years. I could barely walk, I wasn't able to play with my kids, I could hardly work without any pain. Doctors have given me many injections and tried many things to fix what was wrong with me. After spending countless hours, hundreds of thousands of dollars, and wasting seven years of my life, I was willing to try anything. Acupuncture was the first thing I should have gone to. Like many, I was skeptical about acupuncture and what a needle can do, but I was willing to do anything. I started seeing Dr. Wang last July and he told me to keep up with the treatments as I would progress overtime. Dr. Wang recommended me to see Clinton as Clinton's massages (active release techniques) can help with the combinations of acupuncture as it helps relaxes the muscle and the tissues for the acupuncture to work better. Little did we know, after 6 sessions, I was able to go to the park and play with my children again. As the sessions went on, the pain began to reduce dramatically and after about my 16th treatment I am pain free. I have my life back and I am pain free and I only spent $1600 compare to the hundreds and thousands of dollars on all these other things and medications and therapist and sessions. I no longer need acupuncture and haven't needed it in awhile but continue my session with Dr. Wang because it keeps my body strong. I also continue to use Clinton. The 7 years that I haven't been active has really put me out of shape and in bad condition (I gained about 60 pounds) and just beginning to work out again is tough but Clinton keeps my body loose and stretched and fresh. Again Dr. Wang and Clinton, I am forever thankful!

The decor and aura inside also helps create a positive environment. The main reason I started coming here earlier this year is because I was having some pain and discomfort in my wrist from the boxing workouts I do. I never look forward to seeing a doctor so I thought I would try something new and boy was I glad I did! I did an initial acupuncture and acupressure treatment with Dr. Shen and now I’m hooked. It’s a great experience all around — with your mind, body, and spirit. The acupuncture really helps stimulate the healing process and I have even noticed an improvement with my overall well-being. Recently I came down with a bad case of hives from a insect bite and decided to see if acupuncture would again be the magic elixir for my physical woes. Sure enough I’m noticing good results already and it’s only been a day since my treatment with Dr. Shen. She also recommended several methods for me to do at home on my own to further my treatment, which shows that she genuinely cares about the people that she treats. My rash is starting to itch less and is less dark in several areas. What a relief! These days my wrist pain is almost completely gone and I still like going just to take care of myself like routine maintenance on a car.
