Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience with IFS coaching. It is incredibly hard to find available IFS coaching or therapy, so I feel like I really lucked out with Plum Springs clinic. They have a great deal of expertise and IFS and are very adept at compassionately working with people to help them heal psychologically.

Two vitamins and my depression, anxiety WNL and the suicidal ideation is gone!! Now i need to do some talk therapy and im very happy with that also. So happy with Lorre and Dr. Sharp.

Experiencia fantástica: I can say with confidence that Plum Spring Clinic restored my health and my wellbeing. I went to see them after having had unexplained digestive issues on-and-off for at least a year and a half that eventually landed me one day at the nearest ER with sharp abdominal pain. I had a CT scan and was diagnosed with colon inflammation and given a bunch of antibiotics. At that point I had completely lost confidence in trying to get better by going through the regular channels (seeing doctors and getting “medication” treatment at one of the two main medical centers in the area). Knowing what I was after, a friend mentioned Plum Spring Clinic. I immediately read every word they had in their website, but what made me call and make the appointment was the little video of Dr. Sharp explaining the process he himself went through, that led him to abandon traditional occidental medicine, do research on other ways of healing and open his own health center. The minute I stepped in their beautiful Medicine House, set in a gorgeously landscaped large yard, I felt that this was the right place for me. Immediately after my initial appointment with Dr. Sharp, where he proposed what he considered the right length of treatment and the cost and briefly described it, I made my decision to go ahead and sign the contract. I had such confidence in him and Nate (who I also met that first day) that I made a really big commitment of time and money without major hesitation. I knew that the nutrition part and the supplements were a big part of it and that there would also be health coaching and sessions of Somatic Experiencing. I knew that they were going to look at my whole lifestyle - physically, mentally and spiritually and try to show me better ways of going about things, but I didn’t know how they were going to do it. And they delivered. The care I got from Dr Michael Sharp, Nate Kelly (Nutritionist) and Kathleen Williams (Health Coach) was exceptional. My gut is completely healed. But the process was so much more than that. I was at a very crucial time in my life when I started the program, right in the middle of a very difficult personal crisis that I’m sure contributed greatly to my digestive problems. With their expertise and compassion they gave me the tools to have the strength -physical and mental- I needed to go through my crisis and come out on the other side a changed, healed person, inside and out. I will be forever thankful to them.

Kathleen, the coach helped me identify life goals based on a wholistic approach and use strategies to focus on my realistic, achievable goals.

Experiencia fantástica: So happy Plumbspring Clinic is back! I went there to the original clinic a few years ago but they unfortunately had to close the practice. While I was there, I was so pleased with their approach to figuring out what was 'wrong' with me and help me to feel better! I may go back again now that they've reopened. My previous experience was definitely positive and helpful and everyone I dealt with there was kind, helpful, knowledgeable and informative. If you feel like 'crap' and don't know why, perhaps this is the answer for you. They look beyond the surface and look for natural ways to help you without discounting that sometimes people do have health issues that actually do require a prescription drug to combat. They treat the whole person. I think that is key.

Rather than see my issues as list of different symptoms, to be fixed with a cocktail of several different medications, he listened to everything I had to say and looked for the root causes of my medical problems. Exactly what you would expect from a Holistic doctor, of course, but this was my first experience with alternative medicine; needless to say, it was a positive one. Several of my medical issues have been resolved, including being able to get off of injected insulin and the end of my insomnia. My only complaint is not with Dr. Sharp, but with my health insurance provider which forces me into the one size fits all, cookie cutter health care system.
