Experiencia fantástica: What a blessing this place is!

Experiencia negativa: My child was referred during a severe mental health crisis. Paperwork has to be brought in in person, so we did that, and then were told it would be several more weeks until a two hour intake, where they would decide who fits. During that time, my child self harmed and left home twice in the middle of the night, had more happen than I can write here. I called after seeing their pediatrician first, and spoke to someone named Kimberly and asked if we could be seen sooner due to everything going on. She asked if my child self harmed that day and said since it was not that day, there was nothing else they could do, no sooner appointments. I told her that the only reason there was no self harm is because I had locked up everything sharp but otherwise I believe there would be. She still said no. I took my child somewhere else. I don't think it's the whole office but Kimberly being the gateway to help for my child felt very unsafe and uncaring.

Experiencia fantástica: After their move, it seems the team at WHAT has gotten even better. Faster appointments and updated facilities are just the start. Great with the kiddos and even work with them at their schools. Awesome

Doesn’t answer your calls, doctors are unprofessional made me feel very weird as a young adult and the therapists don’t help anything they just up your depression meds every time please send your teen somewhere else I get incredible anxiety and have no trust for anyone in the industry because of this place and it’s not fair to do that to children!

Experiencia negativa: my friend and i went to the what clinic today in search for some assistance, but we were not greeted by anyone despite making our presence known. we’ve been told our whole lives to go to the what clinic if we need help, it’s a real disappointment that this resource was not accessible for us to use, contradicting its motto.

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough good things about WHAT! They are so willing to help my teen with anything she needs. I really like that she receives a questionnaire with anything she would like to discuss. I think as parents we forget about body autonomy, and her being able to express her concerns is important. They are always available to answer questions, and have her best interest in mind with all of their services.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for over a year now, and the service is excellent. They are always so kind, and the woman I see is very passionate about helping young people like me. In my experience, the people here will do anything to make sure you are satisfied and alright!

Experiencia fantástica: I went here through all of my rough teenage yrs. I had a great counselor&great advice from the doctors put to me in a "cool/chill" manner. Now wanting to put my 10 year old here.. Wondering if they will take her this young.. as she is very mature. Wanting to find her some counseling to prepare her for the teenage years ahead.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a college student and this is hands down the best doctor’s office I’ve ever been to. They have mental and physical health services for teens, the staff is so friendly, and they take most types of insurance (including Medicaid). I will be very sad to age out of coming here.
