Experiencia negativa: I have been a patient of Dr. Guss for many years. I only write reviews when I have something nice to say. This is an exception . I was 10 minutes late for an important pre op physical that I had scheduled 3 weeks earlier and Dr. Guss sent her nurse to the waiting room to inform me she had cancelled my appointment. The reason given was that 10 minutes of my 20 minute appointment had passed. This was shocking and humiliating as well as costly for me in many ways. I now have to reschedule a surgery I had been waiting for for months. And find a new PCP. I should note that a few months back I was solicited by phone to sign up for concierge with Dr. Guss. I was caught off guard by the sales call from my primary doctor's office and did not commit at that time. I did continue to consider it but since I am healthy and only go in for physicals once ish per year it did not seem wise to pay the extra $1000+ per year for additional access on top of my already costly private insurance, deductibles and copays. Nonetheless I was still considering concierge with Dr. Guss so that I could keep my primary care physician. But Dr. Guss' heartless and humiliating treatment of me yesterday as a long term patient (and I might add community member as we also were acquainted through our daughters' Christian private school) simply for arriving 10 minutes late demonstrates she should not be a doctor to be considered for concierge, and certainly not a good option outside of her concierge program.

Experiencia negativa: I have never had a worse experience with a physician. She treated me with a complete lack of empathy and respect. I would give zero stars if I could.

Experiencia positiva: Every time I go there is little to no wait. However, I wish you all had electronic medical records and my chart or something similar where I can track my labs and schedule apts

I had an annual physical which also included bloodwork, chest X-ray and EKG and was in and out in about 1 1/2 hours. I had no wait time before being called back and Dr. GUSS gave me all the time I needed answering any questions or concerns that I had.

Experiencia positiva: I thought that all visits to Dr. Guss went well, she seemed very compassionate about me as her patient. My insurance changed years ago and I was unable to return back to her office for care. Years later my insurance changed again, I made an appointment and then was told it would need to be rescheduled. I was then told my file needed to be requested from administration on several occasions, then advised the Dr. was no longer taking any new patients. Now i'm notified that i have been dismissed from the office with no relevant reason. This is bad business, as a person who wants to find out they are dismissed without a reason and no one seems to know or care to provide me with information. Very unprofessional to me.

Several of my friends have become her patient based on the years of her caring for my mother-in-law, husband and me. I love that Medical Clinic Houston also provides the services for an MRI, mammography, X-rays, etc. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful doctor who cares for me as a person and a patient.

Experiencia negativa: We lost my grandmother in January of 2021. She was under the care of Jennifer Guss. To date, Jennifer Guss has not signed the death certificate. We are getting calls left and right due to other facilities needing a copy of the death certificate. My family cannot have closure due to Guss’s lack of concern and follow up.
