Experiencia fantástica: Ezia is the best of the best! One of my favorite things about Ezia is that it has more personal, boutique feel vs. a massive mainsteam gym. It is a very luxurious facility with gorgeous bathrooms, new equipment, massage area, sauna, cold plunge, and even a little deck to rest or stretch on before or after your session. Everything is VERY clean & well maintained. Their staff is exceptionally knowledgeable & friendly. I've been training with Chris for several years & his attention to mobility is something I was missing in my routine. I see people of all ages training here - no one is too young or old! Whether you are here for vacation or live on island full time, you are going to love it!

I love the upstairs to start my stretch before working out, then hitting the sauna. The small group training sessions with Chris are also great. It’s the perfect self care routine.

I joined EZIA in the Spring of 2023 as an individual relatively new to fitness and I am beyond pleased with my decision. I have found EZIA to be a welcoming community where I am challenged to work hard towards my goals. I truly feel that the trainers and members alike are a community of like-minded professionals and individuals dedicated to health and wellness and an active lifestyle. I can’t say enough about the camaraderie and sense of community at the club since I came to EZIA with few connections on the island…the expert guidance and authentic friendship have meant a lot to me personally. And beyond the community, let’s talk about the facilities…the club is state-of-the-art, clean and like many of its members, packs a punch! There is equipment for all your needs…from cardio to strength to stretching. My favorite featured items are the cold plunge and sauna. The best part of my experience is the actual training. I have personally enjoyed and benefited from the one-on-one training where I get to use all the equipment and everything that the facility has to offer. I have been working with Victoria, 3 days a week, for several months. Victoria has been an invaluable part of my health and wellness journey and consistently challenges me. I leave every training session with a sense of accomplishment (and usually quite tired and a bit sweaty…but there are plenty of fresh towels for that!) and always excited for the next one! Big shout out to Victoria for the professional service and expert coaching! This season, EZIA has also started a weekly run group, led by Victoria and Michael. This Monday night run group has been a fun way to stay committed and challenged as running has become a big part of my regiment and a true passion of mine. In addition to the training sessions, I have also enjoyed the sports massage and sports therapy services offered by their in-house TB12 Body Coach and in-house masseuses. It has been a great spring and summer not only at the Club, but beyond as we have had exciting and memorable experiences with member cookouts on the beach, watersports activities and other events and social activities for the benefit and enjoyment of members. And speaking of beyond...EZIA has now launched a health and wellness retreat in Baja, named “Verano Sin Fin”. I was so excited to book this beautiful private compound for a weeklong immersive wellness retreat in March of 2024 for myself and guests. Again, I am so pleased that I made the decision to invest in health and wellness with my membership at EZIA. Thank you, Team EZIA!

There is plenty of equipment for all experienced lifters and inexperienced fitness goers alike. Previously, I had gone to Nantucket Health Club for past 10 summers and the 24/7 access paired with the barrel sauna and cold plunge drove me to switch to Ezia. Whether you are looking to get bigger and stronger or whether your goal is to get fit they have you covered. From squat racks and dumbbells to rowers and assault runners. They also have the awesome added benefit of cold plunges, sauna and hot tub which are essential to recovery. Well run spot. The gym is always clean. They have great trainers to help you achieve your goals through well designed programs catered to people of all ages and ability.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a member at Ezia for almost two years - watching this place grow from a "gym in a house" to the world-class facility it is today. The serious investments made include creating an open floor plan with distinct areas for strength training, cardio, and stretching/recovery. Staff feels like family - always available to answer questions about proper form and nutrition. Conveniently located in mid-island - there is no where else I would work out at on the island!

Experiencia negativa: Worst gym ever. The owner thinks they are a high end facility but it is far from it. It's a old house that was spruced up with cheap materials that isn't much larger then 1,000 sqft. The gym has a few free weights, 2 tread mills and 2 sqaut racks. The owner raised his prices from a already high of $1800 a year to $14,000 per year and a few limited memberships at $3,600 per year for locals which was offered to me. After being a member here for 2 years and dealing with limited access to the gym equipment due to renovations, I kindly told the owner "the facility simply is not worth the price increase although I would consider it and that I was not happy about the limited access to equipment" he got offended and canceled my membership on me. A $10 a month planet fitness has more to offer then this place and after how I was treated by the owner I would never recommend anyone to this place. I am not a person that ever writes bad reviews but this one was definitely necessary. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I highly recommend staying away from this place. "Thank you for your feedback Bruno, we did our best to satisfy your needs during a multi million dollar renovation period in the winter months, including making a refund for your discounted local membership despite our no refund policy. We chose to cancel your membership as we do not appreciate or accept being threatened by anyone, your choices and behavior were not appropriate or reflective of the private clubs requirements of our members. We reserve the right to terminate a membership for any reason. Our apologies it did not turn out better for you. All the best," Let's make one thing clear, you did not do anything to satisfy mine or anyone else's needs thoughout the renovations. That is why I reached out to you with my concerns and you got upset and canceled my membership. I did not threaten you at anytime other then to take legal action if I did not receive a refund for your childish decision. All my actions were appropriate and I have no problem sharing our conversations that transpired to prove it. No need to be sorry for how things turned out becuase I left a realistic review as I promised and joined a much better fitness club. By the way thanks for the refund, it was the only professional thing you did.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother and I signed up for EZIA while on Nantucket for a couple of weeks. Pricey but worth it, we made full use of the facilities and personalized training. The personal training provided customized direction that worked for both levels of abilities. Nelson, Truman and team delivered awesome service. The compact gym provides everything we needed from hand-weights to ergs, and other cardio machines. EZIA only permitted a small number of guests at any given time, less than five, and everyone had to wear masks, so we felt comfortable and safe. EZIA provides a high-level of service combined with expert training and modern, comfortable facilities. Thumbs up.

Experiencia fantástica: Over the years I have seen my fair share of physical therapists but none as healing, caring, professional & knowledgeable as the ones at Nakoa Fitness & PT. Last November I had shoulder surgery for a torn Supraspinatus Tendon & Bicep Tendon along with other major shoulder repairs. My therapist, Erin Davis, has done a fantastic job of returning my range of motion and quickly rehabbing me back to my 3-day a week workout routine with Nakoa Coach John Welch. Now that I'm back to my regular workouts, Coach John & Erin, are collaborating to make sure that we ALL as a team continue the rehab process in a safe and effective manner. Also, recently my good friend Monique Mason asked me where I was going for my Physical Therapy (having noticed my rapid shoulder recovery progress) and of course I was excited to tell her how happy I am with Nakoa. Much to my surprise I just found out that a referral to PT can earn you a free coaching session at Nakoa Fitness & PT. I gave the free coaching session to my wife Laura Christiansen. See how happy she looks? I don't believe there is a business anywhere in San Diego County that has the unique HEALTH & FITNESS capabilities that Nakoa Fitness & PT offers. What are you waiting for --- go check them out! You can't go wrong with either Erin Davis or Allison Chico Nelson, they are the BEST Physical Therapists I have ever dealt with! Thank you Erin, Allison & John and the entire wonderful staff at Nakoa! Note: I could have gone to Kaiser PT but elected to pay cash at Nakoa. The out of pocket expense was worth it to me! I have no complaints about my surgery at Kaiser.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Ezia because I wanted a more balanced and intense workout than I could get at a regular gym. I played college sports and I have been a runner for years but I wasn't making the progress I wanted to; after one month with Rob I am in much better shape and I am a faster runner. I think that Ezia has the best trained and most knowledgeable staff of any other fitness facility. I would highly recommend Ezia for anyone that is serious about fitness.
