Experiencia fantástica: Dr Lawson has treated many of my dogs and cats over the years with incredible results! She helped one of my dogs deal with vestibular disease which improved her quality of life dramatically! She helped my cat when his jaw was dislocated and he couldn’t eat and the chiropractic vet said she didn’t feel confident adjusting his jaw and told me the only route was surgery at the vet school which would cost thousands of dollars. I was desperate and Dr. Lawson came to his rescue and fixed his jaw with one adjustment. As he got older, it became a chronic problem and she continued to treat him, always with great results! She has helped my dog with spinal issues and my other dog when he was limping. When I couldn’t afford to pay her, she saw my animals for free or let me trade with her. She has always helped to improve the quality of life of my pets and I have no doubt, she helped prolong their lives. When they aren’t having particular issues, I have brought them in for maintenance. Dr Lawson cares deeply about animals and I will always be so grateful to her for her kindness, generosity and expertise in helping my pets live better and longer lives!

Experiencia fantástica: We found a small dog that had been severely abused and then abandoned. He was in horrible condition and in pain from being hit, or kicked in the face and upper body. He had a broken jaw and a bone fragment pushed up into he sinus. He could barely move or eat. My vet recommended Meg Lawson, she worked wonders on him. He began to eat and actually chew, and he was not just walking, he was prancing around the house. I have, and will continue to recommend Meg Lawson for pets who need her knowledge and skill in caring for their fur-kids!

Her skilled knowledgeable talents corrected my Boxer puppy almost immediately . When I took him to his dog shows all the judges said his movement was great. They couldn’t tell he broke his leg. Experiencia fantástica: Amazing healer with my dogs! I had a litter once and 1 puppy wasn't walking but his siblings were. I took him in to see Dr Meg and she adjusted his tiny pelvis and just like that he popped up and started walking! I had an older girl who was in a lot of pain from her neck and a slipped disc. My vet recommended euthanasia. I brought her to Dr Meg who got her to live a pain-free life with regular chiropractic adjustments for another 5 years!!! I recommend Dr Meg for humans and animals too, every chance I get!

Experiencia fantástica: Updated post after a few years: About five years ago, my dog's back went out and she was in so much pain she couldn’t lift her head. The vet has her on a nerve medicine, pain medicine, and muscle relaxer and said the only other option was to have surgery at the UGA vet hospital. I was seriously considering putting her down because I couldn’t hear too see her hurt like that. I took her to Dr. Meg as a last ditch effort. After a few adjustments, my girl was back to new, jumping over 5 foot fences and running at a crazy fast speed. About two years later, her back went out again and immediately set up an appointment to see Dr. Meg. This time her back legs wouldn’t hold her body up. Dr. Lawson's adjusted the vertebra back into place and used laser therapy. My dog got back to normal after two visits. My husband has horrible migraines and at the time had a migraine and it lasted for at least a month. I got him to go to see Dr. Meg the last visit we took my dog to. We immediately both signed up to get chiropractic adjustments. He was terrified of Chiropractor ‘s prior to that from previous experiences. He got relief after the first or second appointment. Now my husband, my five year old son, and I all get our backs adjusted by Dr. Meg (Dr. Lawson) once every three weeks. She’s the first chiropractor we’ve had who does a completely different adjustment on all three of us. My husband and I my back problems are totally different so it’s awesome that she uses completely tailored techniques with each of us. For my young son, she does very simple adjustment but he always feel so much better and he loves to jump on the table and get adjusted now. I think Dr. Meg is the best chiropractor. I wish everybody had to train under her. A lot of chiropractors only specialize in one technique. She is trained in 24 techniques and actively uses 12 of them to tailor each person’s adjustments as well as lasers, percussive instruments, ice packs, stretching, etc. I selfishly wish. I selfishly hope she never retires! Thank you, Dr. Meg!

I had only been a patient for a few months when I was T-boned by another driver. After a trip to the ER and X-rays, I was sent home with a few prescriptions for pain relief & muscle relaxers. I saw Dr Lawson the next morning. By then the bruises, aches, pains and mental fog had really set in. After a gentle and thorough exam, she gently did a little adjusting, moist heat, wonderful advice for the serious bruises from the seat belt, scheduled another appointment with her for in a few days AND the strong recommendation to see my primary care physician that day for a probable concussion. I have had a few other serious and painful problems that her timely care was the healing touch I needed. I say all that to say why Dr Meg Lawson will always be my chiropractor, she will always be part of my wellness journey. I so appreciate her gentle, professional chiropratic care. (She was not my first chiropractor, but she’s my forever chiropractor! And my family!) About nine years ago, my Atlanta Functional Medicine doctor referred me to Lawson Family Chiropractic. I'm so glad she did! Dr. Meg is efficient and effective. Experiencia negativa: This office is apparently short-staffed and full of excuses. I initially made an appt for a meet/greet even though I had a gardener's back pain at the time of my call. Thought it would subside. It got worse. Called the day before the appt which was 3 days later, leaving a message on the answering machine, to see if it could be changed to an adjustment only to NEVER receive a return call. Called again only to get the machine. Show up a FULL 26 hours later and THEN am told the appt could not be for an adjustment, just a meet/greet. Full of excuses that she worked until late hours alone the day before and didn't open until 1pm today. I guess for her assistant sitting at the desk to take FIVE minutes to call me and say no adjustment can be scheduled at the appointed time would be too much of an effort. Well I met and find this lack of courtesy to be horrendous. Guess they don't need the patients.

I have been going to see her for 20 years, and I have referred countless friends and UGA co-workers to her, all of whom are as pleased with her care as I am. I have seen her over the years for running- and weightlifting-related issues, back pain and shoulder pain, and preventive care and overall health maintenance. On every visit Dr. Meg has been extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. She spends plenty of time with me, listens thoroughly as I explain my problem or symptoms, and asks thoughtful questions to make sure she has all the necessary information. Then she clearly explains—in language I can understand, and often with visual aids—what she thinks is going on and the treatment she recommends. This is exactly the kind of interaction I wish I could have with all of my medical providers. I always leave Dr. Meg’s office feeling much better and if I came in with pain, my pain is reduced (sometimes so significantly it seems miraculous). She regularly gives me printouts of exercises I can do at home and makes recommendations for other home-care strategies. Dr. Meg and her staff create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere and the office is in a very nice, clean, well-kept building that was originally built as a ranch house, so the reviewer who references a “trailer” has clearly never been there.
