The therapist was not willing to have my family complete the intake and consent forms on the spot like I previously did. I’m giving them 2 stars because Amanda is great on Instagram with boundary setting.

My therapist Jess was instrumental in the progress I've been able to make and Dr. Eli is a thoughtful psychiatrist who takes his time and gets to know you as a person. She has met me where I am and has always made me feel safe, seen and heard. We started with walk and talk therapy while the weather was still warm and I think it helped my first experience with therapy get off to a smooth start.

When starting out with the practice, I felt the concerns I wanted to address and the goals I had in mind were taken into account in selecting a few therapists to learn about. The manager helped me finalize who I wanted to see and I was even able to get a therapist who worked with my schedule. I have only done virtual and it has made a huge difference with being able continue therapy since I work in healthcare and cannot do regular 8-5 appointments

Experiencia fantástica: I have been with Therapy for Women for about a year and a half. I can honestly say it saved me. From the time I inquired for a therapist to now I've had nothing but a positive and helpful experience. After filling out their form they reviewed my concerns and actually matched me with a therapist they thought could better suit my needs. I've stayed with that therapist, Arielle, since then. I've been to both offices in Bala Cynwd and Old City, both are welcoming and relaxing. I think that helps take the edge off of some anxiety that comes with therapy. Arielle is amazing and I truly am so grateful to have a therapist who is understanding and clicks with me. Overall I've had a lovely experience with Therapy for Women and would recommend to all.

Aleks is a phenomenal therapist. The center itself is very quick to act if you need anything. I see a psychiatrist within the practice as well and he too is amazing. They just genuinely care about their patients. You don’t feel like a time slot to them. Highly recommend if you are contemplating any type of mental health assistance/therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I've attended a couple of exceptional TFW online workshops so far. One was a seminar-style presentation on healthy sleep with Becca Adleberg, who was both informative and entertaining. I came away with practical knowledge I've already been able to use. The other was a four-week overview of dialectical behavior therapy with Kathryn Hilton, who did a fantastic job explaining DBT skills for 90 minutes each Wednesday, helping us work through understanding and applying the concepts, and fielding some difficult questions about heavy subjects. I greatly appreciate the time, effort, and passion that TFW and all their employees put into the care they provide. Highly recommended.

I have been consistently impressed with Amanda’s approach to working with women struggling with a variety of issues- including substance use disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, and transitional issues. Amanda is compassionate and caring, but never afraid to challenge her clients. I would recommend Amanda to any clients or colleagues looking for a modern and relatable therapy practice. The new center is a safe place for women to explore their mental health, create community and feel less alone. I am so excited to see that the practice has expanded and now has the ability to touch even more lives.

Experiencia fantástica: Amanda and Maddie are both fabulous, and I'm so excited to see how they grow with the new space. I've worked with Amanda for 2 years now and I can't recommend her enough. She offers a fresh and modern view on therapy which involves empowering her clients to see the change in themselves. She gives you literal tools (ex. non-violent communication) to supplement what's talked about in session so you can go home and practice life skills. This step has been so crucial for my long-term recovery and emotional stability. She also checks in with you about things you talked about the previous week without having a notepad in front of her. She genuinely cares for each client. In addition to individual therapy, I'm in Amanda's weekly group. I've created wonderful friendships here. It's also functioned as a safe space for me to experiment with things like stating my needs, getting vulnerable, setting boundaries, and receiving feedback from a non-therapist. No matter why you go to Therapy for Women, these women WILL change your life. I really can't thank them enough. They saved my life then stuck with me to help me rebuild it from the bottom up.

She is a tremendous talent in the field and a model amongst her peers. She has an eclectic array of specialties and offerings for her clients. Her innate ability to instantaneously establish rapport makes her extremely influential with her clients. I highly would recommend Amanda for any client in need of addiction therapy, mental health counseling, yoga, and overall composite wellness.
