Experiencia fantástica: We are so grateful for Dr Achari and his staff. I can't imagine going to someone else. We feel safe with his decisions he makes on our behalf.We trust him with our life. His staff, Nurses, Secretary etc have ALWAYS been quick to respond to our messages. They are the back bone of this Dr. They all seem to work together to make test, appointments go smoothly. I find them very organized.Thank you Dr Archari for ALWAYS taking your time with us, understanding our fears and concerns. God Bless you and your staff.

Experiencia negativa: How does he have such a high rating??If my dad had continued going to him he would be dead or in a nursing home. He went to him for years and thankfully we convinced him to go elsewhere. His cholesterol was already very low and this Dr. wanted to up his statin from 40 mg to 80 mg!!! He felt awful, depressed, body aches, etc. It would have killed him if he had listened to Dr. Achari. He went to a new Dr. and he lowered it to 20mg for now. May lower it more. My dad hasn't felt this good in years!! He is a different person. Dr. Achari is definitely getting kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies and doesn't care about his patients, just the $$$. Please go elsewhere and find a Dr that cares about you, not the $$$. So sad, Dr's care about $$$, not the person.

Experiencia negativa: Dr Achari is a great cardiologist however his office is managed poorly and it is very difficult to reach his secretary to make an appointment. Calls go immediately to her voice mailbox. Her message says do not leave multiple messages. There would not be a need to leave multiple messages if they call back timely! I’m one of his patients and have been trying for almost 3 weeks to make an appointment without any success…they have not called me back although in my vm I indicated I currently live abroad and will be in Houston for a short period of time and need to see Dr Achari while I’m there. This is not an isolated experience. He has been my cardiologist for a few years but at this point I have no choice but look for another cardiologist.

Dr. Achari's staff arranged the tests before the appointment. Even this is the first time to meet Dr. Achari. He made me feel like a friend. His warm voice explained the test results and the plan for me in the near future. His medical assistants are all nice and provided detail instructions to follow. I will recommend Dr. Achari to my friends.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr’s Achari and White are my HERO’s……….I initially saw Dr M White in 2017 who immediately referred me to Dr A Achari………Together they diagnosed, evaluated and directed some very complex therapeutic options……Treatment was a resounding success and they have continued to follow and care for me closely!!! As a physician I can tell you that BOTH of these gentlemen are superb physicians in EVERY respect and I am alive today because of them!!!! Experiencia fantástica: It was a nuclear medicine stress test first thing in the morning with no coffee allowed. Ugh. The follow up was with Dr Achari's nurse first. After getting my blood test, she got me a wonderful coffee. They take great care of me there!

He takes his time to answer every question and doesn’t try to rush you. His staff is also very helpful and as accommodating as they can be. I highly recommend him.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a treadmill stress test that was ordered and observed by Dr Achari at The Medical Clinic of Houston. I arrived fifteen minutes early for my appointment and, as usual , I was taken almost immediately to the stress test area. The test was conducted and I was out of the clinic about fifteen minutes past my scheduled arrival time. Dr Achari and the staff at the clinic staff turned what is usually a stressful event into a pleasant experience. This is the normal experience I have had with Dr Achari and the clinic.

As a cardiologist he is constantly dealing with critical issues, issues of life and death - he is professional with a very caring touch, always encouraging and respectful of the patient's needs and requests. He is very knowledgeable about the state of the art developments in his field and makes them available to his patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent operation. I went to see him this morning, and had all the diagnostic tests done early. Nuclear stress test, echocardiogram, and blood work. The staff at the diagnostic center could not have been friendlier. They were pleasant, and caring. As a physician, I am looking closely at how the staff treats their patients. They were timely and walked me through every test. Later that morning when I went to see Dr. Achari, his front desk was attentive and friendly. I was an hour early to the appointment, but they got me in early. Dr. Achari was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and approachable. He reviewed all my tests before coming into the room; and went over the tests with me. He answered all my questions, and even came back into the exam room after leaving to ask me a few more questions. My impression of the entire day was positive. From start to finish; the day exceeded my expectations. A+

Experiencia positiva: I have been seeing Dr. Achari for seven years now after having suffered an unexpected heart attack in Florida and a quadruple bypass. Through his care he has helped me to restore my life to an active lifestyle that I enjoyed prior to the heart attack. He has been unbelievably thorough and has always answered any questions I have had. The only issue I have experienced were occasional long waits, but he has made great strides here as well. I have been completely satisfied with his skill and care.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Achari is very knowledgable about meds {and tends to prescribe in too high dosage causing a alarming immediate need lower]. We too experienced that he is arrogant, very controlling, does not at all welcome questions or review of lab work, and staff repeatedly did not provide medical records needed for another appointment to us nor to the recommended follow up doctor despite five pleas. Finally told, after we had our critical meeting with follow up doctor without needed reports - oh you have to go to medical records for that. Nurse behaved passive-aggressively... Truly odd experience with this doctor and staff. And yes, as other patient stated Dr. Achari will blind-side you and send letter of dismal of his services out of the blue. Does not discuss with you anything regarding his concerns to continue he just sends a certified letter and tosses you aside despite your need or current condition . Dr. Achari and nurse does not engender a warm, stable and collaborative health partnership with his patient, rather master - subject relationship. Only time in our 60 years have we experience such callousness and odd-abrupt end.
