Experiencia fantástica: High Gear has been my gym home for almost 4 years. In the 4 years that I have been going it has become much more than a gym. It is a place of refuge and healing. That may sound like an odd thing to say about a gym but for me, that is the best way to descibe it. I have made many, many new friends and continue to make more. If you a curious about attending they always have a special for Gear Up classes (beginner). For more advanced athletes the programing is challenging and relevent to what you see in the Open and Games. I hope to see you soon.

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place! Clean and inviting atmosphere! Friendly and encouraging people. Best gym I have ever been a member of. Something for everyone, Strongman, Powerlifting, Olympic lifting, kids and teens, Crossfit, yoga, personal training and nutrition! In the Cafe you can get Keller's Meats, Whey and Vegan Protein, snacks and recovery drinks, and all the sweet gear you need to get swole & flexy. Also, several bible studies are available and some service projects too!

Experiencia fantástica: From day 1 when Chris showed me around the gym and Anna coached me through the WOD to that very next day when Heidi (one of the owners) came up and introduced herself and then PARTNERED WITH ME, this gym is welcomed me with open arms. There is a lot of camaraderie and a place for everyone at whatever fitness level. Experiencia fantástica: I've been doing CrossFit for around 5 years now and I've been to some quality gyms with some great people, but HighGear is a gym like no other. The coaches are experienced, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The programming is great, it is always challenging and produces noticable improvement. However, the coaches are more than capable of helping those with injuries or less experience to scale things to their level. The owners are amazing people who put a lot of money back into the gym and the members with give aways and new equipment. You can tell they are passionate about fitness and helping others! You will find top level athletes, weekend warriors, and fitness newbies. There truly is something for everyone with all the different classes offered. But, the best part of HighGear is the community. There are members from all walks of life that come together with the common goals of fitness and fun. They are all so encouraging and friendly, and everyone really supports one another, not just in the gym. We have made life long friends in this community and we can't imagine going anywhere else. It wasn't by accident that HighGear needed to move to a giant facility or that they have celebrated 5 years of being open. You won't find a better place to get fit!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a member at Highgear for two years. I’m amazed at how welcoming and accommodating this group of people are. Highgear welcomes all into this crazy community. What I love most about HG is that everyone is the star of their own show with fans cheering everyone on. They/we push for the first to last place finisher. We celebrate the largest and smallest accomplishments. My favorite part of HG is that no one cares about what modifications, scaling options and inabilities anyone has, they are all on their own journey and just care that everyone is putting forth their best effort. I can’t imagine beginning my day at the 5 am class in any other gym. HG makes my days and my life better. Being a foreign in this Country, basically knowing no one around here in Ohio, to now where my wife and I know so many awesome people, that we can call family! It’s a great community that not only will help you physically, which will sound weird because you thinking it’s only a gym, but will help you became a better person! Experiencia fantástica: By far the best gym, programing, facilities and community around. One of the best decisions I ever made was to come to go hg!! Not only am I better mentally but my fitness is the best it’s ever been. There is so much room to do anything you want, classes for literally everything and anyone, best coaches around and best of all some of the greatest people you could meet and be around. There are so many good athletes everyone pushes each other to be the best they can be and gets you outside of your comfort zone. It is my home away from home and my favorite place to be!!

The programming is challenging but set to all levels! The coaches are uniquely different but all care about your growth. The brother and sisterhood is second to none! 5-6 days a week 20-30 of us before dawn pursuing health, happiness and fitness. The ownership team unparalleled! #livingthehighgearlife! Savage life!

After taking the leap and trying a class, my family was hooked. In just one year I have gained strength, muscle, endurance, and improved my health in so many ways. However, that's not all. HighGear has also given me confidence, accountability, encouragement, and a community for which I am forever grateful! And it's not just Crossfit. They have a multitude of other classes, including rowing, yoga, Strongman, and strength training as well. I strongly recommend giving this place a try! Experiencia fantástica: I messed around with P90X, Insanity, normal gym memberships, etc. for more than a decade. Then I tried HighGear 2.5 years ago and I was instantly hooked. The workouts are intense and constantly varied. The community is supportive and competitive at the same time. The coaches truly care. And the owners are genuinely passionate. I am in the best shape since my early 20s. HighGear has had a huge positive impact on my life.

Experiencia fantástica: I decided to try out CrossFit HighGear 5 months ago at the urging of a friend. My youngest was 6 months old, I was 20lbs overweight, and I hadn't excercised in over a year. 5 months later, I just today finished my last workout of the crossFit open; accomplishing things that I didn't think were possible even minutes before the beginning of the workout. This is all thanks to the amazing coaches and other members at HighGear. Joining this wonderful, supportive community has been life changing.

The support and motivation you receive from within the community is unbelievable, I can't say enough great things. For me it was just what I needed to continue on my journey of becoming a healthy person!

Experiencia fantástica: I love being a member of CrossFit HighGear because of the great coaching and wonderful community that encourages and supports each other. The workouts are scaled to everyone's abilities so I don't over do it and I stay within myself. I am 70 years young and are two and three generations older than most of my box-mates. I just got word from my doctor today to cut my cholesterol Meds in half. Since July I have also had diabetes and blood pressure Meds reduced significantly and have lost nearly 20 lbs. I took up CrossFit to become healthier so I hope to be 69 next year, then . . . Thanks to Heidi and Tom for their hard work and dedication in creating such a great environment where I can rejuvenate myself!

Experiencia fantástica: Tom and Heidi were my first CF coaches. Started CF with zero free-weight or group exercise experience 2 yrs ago. Travel often for work across the US and NEVER found a box/gym with better coaching - not even close. Extremely knowledgeable and sincere with technique, patience, "why it's done this way", weight amounts, helping everyone succeed and safely getting the most out of each movement/athlete. Moved out of state and greatly miss the challenge. CF HighGear is set-up to provide first-class service!

Experiencia fantástica: I have known Heidi Bogue for over 10 years. Her character is strong and her leadership skills amazing. Tom Karos is a focused and driven individual who can bring about great results whatever he puts his mind too. I have been lucky enough to experience their coaching in multiple situations. Both of them demonstrate professionalism in top form. They pay attention to your body form first and help you achieve the best results in your workouts. Anytime I was injured or struggling, they would change the level of difficulty to fit my goals that day. Both of them are a blast to work out with and I find myself laughing often. They will also push you to excel on your own level. Unfortunately I can't be there to experience this new box but I would recommend to anyone looking for a new home, this is the place to go. You won't find two better coaches under one roof and it will change your life for the better.
