Experiencia negativa: Just not what I hoped for it to be. Sauna consistently broken and stuck in a year long contract and no cancellation policy that allows you to get out of it.

Experiencia negativa: Been using this gym for three years now. It's not as updated or as bright as "The Gym" which is on the other side of town. I've put up with the roof leaks, the car sized hole in the wall for two months, and the non-existent desk hours (which have slightly improved) for proximity to my house, but 83° at 8 pm is unacceptable. I feel absolutely awful for the staff that must deal with irate members all day. Maybe take a business course. Correspondence. Open a laundromat. Something with a lower bar and lower effort.

Experiencia negativa: I had a one-year contract with this gym. Before that, I tried to cancel it twice due to health problems and was unable to do so. I tried by phone, email, and in person, but nothing was done. My auto-renewal was disabled, and on the date the contract expired, they automatically renewed it without my permission and charged my card. I'm trying to negotiate but to no avail. Terrible staff. Once my membership was supposed over, I didn’t left money to pay it in the day. They charged the double of the price . This is a robbery.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this gym so much, I’ve been going here consistently for 4-5 years now. The regulars are extremely friendly, I consider a lot of them my friends even though I’ve never talked to a lot of them before. The gym is always clean and the gym staff is very friendly. I think the best part of the gym is the fact it is rarely busy. If you are new to the gym and scared to work out around other people like I was when I first started, then NRG is the gym for you.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s never too busy, the machines are smooth and always are functioning. There’s more cables and the vibe is perfect if you are tying to lock in and get a solid lift in without socializing for a while. It’s my go to and I’ve made so much progress here!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a member at NRG for the past three years and I would encourage anyone to come in and check it out. If you’re looking for group fitness classes, I highly recommend Terry‘s strength and core options as well as Crystal‘s Saturday circuit class. The instructors are great and it’s a fun group of people to work out with. The rest of the gym has all the equipment you could possibly want, and there’s nothing better than relaxing in the sauna after a workout. Shout out to the friendly front desk staff, especially Nikki!

As someone who is tired of crowded gyms, NRG Lab is great because it's a small, intimate club with plenty of equipment for a great price. The staff are very friendly, it's 24 hours and they've added some new equipment since I've been going here for a few years now. The regulars here are great as well. Great and welcoming gym for bodybuilders as well as casual lifters!

There is a sauna at the Milford location and a juice/protein shake area at the Franklin location. They offer classes 7 days a week such as circuit, spin and yoga. Affordable prices and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Ive been a member for years and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

Experiencia negativa: MENS SAUNA PERMANENTLY CLOSED! I joined NRGLab a few months ago. When I spoke with a sales woman I expressed that the sauna was a big draw for me. At this point she should have mentioned that the sauna in the men's locker room had been permanently closed but she instead confirmed there was a sauna in the mens locker room? Pretty dishonest sales tactics. The gym itself is ok for the price and the fact that it is open 24/7 is nice. The equipment is not top teir but it's good enough for the price. I'm not sure how long I'll stay a member but "The Gym" in Milford is looking attractive with a working sauna for the same monhtly price (although it does require a year contract). Advice to ownership: Don't lie to potential customers and fix the sauna.

Experiencia negativa: I sent an Email to the NRG LAB in september 24 in 2024. Asking to cancel my membership, after a few weeks I went physically into the gym to ask them to cancel it, One of the people from the front desk told me that my Email went to junk but they would look into it. December i call them again asking to cancel my membership, And nothing. It’s January already and my membership that i asked to cancel months ago, is still not cancelled and they don’t want to refund my money that i have paid since I asked them to cancel, which is the total of $243. And apparently I haven’t told them 30 Days before I wanted to cancel.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this gym for a couple of years. I have always found it to be welcoming and comfortable. I have lost quite a bit of weight while going here and I was never made to fell like I didn't belong or like I was being judged in anyway. I had to cancel because I moved out of state and I will say this gym is one of the very few things I miss.

Experiencia negativa: Worst gym ever, they offer you a lot but everything is broken, sauna doesn’t even work… And you also have to pay $110 to cancel even tho they offer you something they don’t have it.

Experiencia negativa: I signed up in 2023 paid a full year membership in advance. After a year I asked the receptionist to cancel my membership and she said I was all set. I received a letter today from debt collector that I owe $800. This is very unprofessional. I have multiple corporate memberships and this is the first time something like this has as happened. I have the debt collector to provide all original contract. This is very bad customer experience. Please be aware when you sign a contact.

Experiencia positiva: The staff were great. The facility is good overall. Sauna was the main draw for me and my husband. However, the men’s sauna got closed permanently. My husband had to move to another gym nearby. I reluctantly had to follow since we often work out together.

Experiencia fantástica: One of my best decisions in 2023! New Year resolution that actually worked! In January of 2023, I was in tears because I realized my health was in terrible shape ( obese, no energy, body pain, sleep problems). I emailed NRG and Laura Cunniff emailed me back the same day and met with me. She assured me that NRG would support my goals and help, she assured me that I would never feel bullied or unsupported. I signed up and got some personal coaching sections with Laura, who motivated me. I also met my goal of attending weekly classes and I love all the instructors. I feel safe and happy and supported whenever I go to either the gym in Milford or Franklin. I might not have lost tons of lbs, but I sleep better, have more energy and have many other benefits. If your 2024 New year's resolution is to be a healthier You, Do yourself a favor and sign up no NRG today!

Experiencia negativa: There’s always broken machines or the sauna is always under maintenance. The sauna takes so long for it to actually get hot. The showers are either broken or have missing parts.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going here for almost a year and have only had positive experiences. Super clean facility and 24/7 access is super nice and the staff is great at answering any questions you have. My only suggestion would be to be able to bring guests!

Experiencia negativa: Sunday morning I decided to find a gym to get back to my activities. This gym is 2 streets away from home, I thought it was perfect. However, when I arrived at the place, there was a delay to be answered by the intercom (which I couldn't understand 100% of what was said due to the hiss) while the sun cooked me. I entered and waited thinking that someone would come to show me the place, prices and activities, the gym was empty (just 7 or 8 working out) and I didn't understand why no one came to meet me. I left, I was excited by what I saw on the website but the impression was only on the website. Maybe one day when the customer is priority things will change.

Experiencia positiva: I use this gym 6 days a week, mostly early mornings. While it has everything you need some of the equipment is in dire need of maintenance or repair. Since it is a 24 hour facility and not staffed at all hours it can also be a bit disorganized and messy in the morning from the slobs that workout overnight who also appear to be incapable of putting weights and cleaning bottles/rags away. I want to provide an update to this review. The cleanliness has improved a lot. So much so that i view it as a non issue. I have also seen a concerted effort to police the gym and keep things in order by the staff.

Ive been going 6 times a week, and have really been able to push my self to the limit; it’s a friendly environment and quite environment where the people who I have ran into talking with are nice and when i have my head phones in and just want to bang out some sets it’s perfect where I can do so. I really enjoyed taking the test with the personal trainer in the beginning to know where I stood in the beginning and motivates me to push even harder to reach the goals that I want and take another test in 90 days to see where I stand next. I can definitely say I throughly enjoy this gym and definitely plan keeping my devotion to there!

Edit: it’s good to see that your company takes google reviews more seriously than customer service. I have reached out MULTIPLE times by phone, email, and have gone in person. Not a single person has responded to me still. Even mid day during “staffed hours” nobody was present. I have asked multiple times to cancel my membership which has been met with 0 response. Now I’m being charged monthly for a gym I can’t even attend because MY BARCODE NO LONGER WORKS EITHER

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to NRG Lab in Milford since they moved in and have watched the gym grow into the great facility that it is now. The staff is always super friendly and management is great! The turf is a great addition and opens the door for a variety of active workouts that I would not be able to do without. I am proud to be an NRG Lab member and plan on maintaining my membership there for as far into the future as I can see, at the moment.

Experiencia negativa: Employees are friendly. But, the equipment is old, and there always seems to be something missing or broken. It takes them weeks usually months to replace/repair anything. If someone walks in behind you without scanning their badge then they charge YOU $10?!?! Also I was stretching on the turf one time and I looked down and there is hair everywhere, gross!!!! Funny how nobody has rated this place in 4 months. Then I give it a bad review, and suddenly they have three new 5-star reviews within 24 hours! Fake reviews!!!! Also, pretty arrogant of the owner to assume I’m with another gym. Maybe I just don’t like your gym?

Experiencia fantástica: I'm from Nebraska and came to Milford to visit some friends. I needed a place to work out and NRG Fitness was the best place to go. The staff was amazing, very kind and inviting. I really enjoyed the turf area. I felt very comfortable especially since I'm not from the area and didn't know anyone at the gym. I'll definitely be back when I'm back in Milford!

Experiencia negativa: When NRG came in, they gave the gym a much needed face lift, but customer service has gone down hill. Watch out for unannounced policy changes and rest room maintenance.

Experiencia fantástica: NRG lab took over from the previous owner about a year ago. This is the gym you want to go to if you are an athlete. They added the mini indoor field. I have seen high school football athletes practicing workout drills inside. They also hold mixed functional workout sessions on the field (for an added cost) This workout looks challenging and the members participate on a consistent basis. They have added some newer barbell equipment and have really cleaned up and organized the workout area. Also, newer updated cardio machines have been added. I spoke with Luther (the owner) personally about the short Olympic barbell that was broken and needed to be replaced. He made it a point to replace it with a new one. His attention to this matter may seem trivial, but it is important to me and it shows he does accept feedback from his members even if they are from the old school of training. One area I am concerned about is the complete change in staff from about a year ago. There were many more trainers / staff on the floor until a few months ago. New ones have come and gone. I am going to update my review around September.

Experiencia negativa: I agree with some of the other comments around improved equipment, but with the new company coming in I have seen a degrade in customer service. I had punch passes from the original company and when NRG took over the first comment was "welcome to the family, but not our issue". Then after not using the membership for awhile I decided to cancel, and they said they also need to charge me a $60 yearly membership fee because it crosses the line by 10 days. When asking for options the summary was "sad to see you leave the family but hope you come back". I do wish them well based on the investment they have made but to see it as a lifestyle and then lack customer service is not a place for me.

Experiencia fantástica: Cleanest facility I have ever experienced. Very friendly and motivated staff/trainers! All I hear is laughs and all I see is smiles! Also have a juice bar that is awesome! My favorite part is that they have shampoo and body wash dispenser in the showers along with towels! So, you do not have to bring anything with you! Great family friendly atmosphere.

Experiencia positiva: 4 stars because of price, a little on the expensive side. 1 Smith machine. 2 squat racks. Good amount of bench press, inclines, and even a decline. Plenty of free weights. Weights for deadlifts. It pretty much has all you need. The machine equipment seems a little old, but it runs. There also is a dry heat sauna. Would be nice to see some new equipment. The hours close at 3pm on weekends and 9pm on weekdays, making it difficult if you get out of work late and want to go to the gym late.
