Experiencia negativa: Two weeks ago my wife and I had a consultation with Skandii MedSpa in Mansfield, Texas to discuss EMSculpt Neo treatments. After the consultation and a demonstration of the proceedure, we were presented with pricing for three package options of 4, 8, or 12 treatments. We informed the staff that we were leaving on vacation in a couple of days and they told us that that the pricing was good until September 9. I called Skandii MedSpa today to sign up for two packages, one for me and one for my wife, totaling $5,100 in services. However, when I called Skandii, I was quoted a new amount that is $900 more than they previously quoted. I had kept the written quote from Skandii (which they had done on a sticky note) and sent it to them today to show what I had been quoted previously. Upon reviewing the written quote the staff member at Skandii said they had misquoted the prices previously and would not honor the previous quote. I asked for consideration given that we had thought long and hard about the decision to spend such a large amount of money. The staff member did not even seem empathetic and stated that we are "welcome to shop around". So, based on my experience, I would be cautious of relying on price quotes from Skandii MedSpa. I feel like they did a bait and switch on us. $6,000 (their new quoted amount) is a lot of money. Perhaps it would be better spent on something more tangible than a treatment that may or may not actually provide noticeable results. You might consider this as well before spending your hard earned money at Skandii MedSpa. I suppose that a provider can claim that a MedSpa service is worth any amount of money. Two weeks ago the service was worth $5,100. A couple of hours ago it was worth $6,000. And a little later today it was worth $8,000 (according to Skandii). MedSpa services are like art I guess. They are worth whatever the person with the twinkle in their eye is willing to pay. But at some point, most of us don't have unlimited resources and we have to draw the line somewhere. I draw the line at being asked to pay an extra $900 from the already expensive number that I had initially talked myself into paying. If the quote was an honest mistake and not a bait-n-switch, then I hope that Skandii MedSpa will consider this. A good business pays for it's own mistakes. It doesn't expect it's customers to pay for them. Simply saying "I misquoted the price" and "you are welcome to shop around" isn't taking care of the customer.

Experiencia negativa: Based on my recent experience, I would not recommend this place. I cannot speak of their other services, but we were very disappointed on their Vanquish (non-surgical) procedure. We were told this procedure will help us lose fat on targeted area (abdomen in our case) at least by few inches. We paid for 6 sessions: each costing $300 for 1/2 an hour. And sessions were once per week. After spending $3600, we expected see some results. But six weeks later after completing the procedure, we did not see any results. We were told it takes 6-12 weeks to see the outcome. And again, after another 6 weeks when we did not see any results, we were told by Dr. Toker that we did not maintain a proper diet or count calories. She forgot that we paid for a specific procedure not a diet program. And they never mentioned about any diet program during the sessions. And we have been following same diet, rather better since we started the program. Since we started confronting about not seeing the outcome as they have advertised, their attitude towards us changed. They tend to avoid eye contacts, not greeting us properly or replied to our emails. Dr. Toker even told us that we are not their average customers. I wish they have told us before what the profile of their average customer is, so we could decide beforehand. Anyway, it was all our loss… money, and time both. So, I hope this helps to make your decision.

I love Tonya so much and she is so sweet and personable. The other staff is very welcoming as well. I ended up doing more treatments than just Botox and filler and have had the best experiences. Highly recommend stopping in and meeting the team and seeing what they can offer you.
