Experiencia negativa: I wish I could give them 0 stars!!!! Don’t come here!

Experiencia negativa: Do not work with them. I was charged over $300 out-of-pocket for appointments two months ago and have been trying to resolve the incorrect claim. Every time I call, I'm told that the only person who can help me is unavailable and that I will receive a call back as soon as possible. I have explained to them ad nauseam that I have been trying to speak with a higher-up for weeks and I'm told the same thing every time. It seems that their strategy is to keep bouncing you between people until you forget that they owe you money. Their billing department also never answers the phone or replies to voicemails.

Experiencia negativa: My Providers are amazing however, the billing department is horrible. I was double billed and have been trying to get a refund all day. Every time I call it’s an excuse about no one is available. This is poor customer service and unacceptable. No accountability at all. Shame on you. Do better.

Experiencia negativa: The receptionist scheduling the appointment was very rude when asking for payment information prior to having appointment, I requested more information on what I can expect from the visit and types of servicies, she told me to do my own “due diligence” and I explained I needed more information if I’m going to be paying for a service, she then said “you called us” I will be seeking more effective information and assistance elsewhere. No, thank you!

Experiencia negativa: I was incorrectly billed and double charged after 2 sessions (which were more or less useless, tbh) and I've been trying to get them to refund me for literally 8 months now - people just keep bouncing me from one contact to another. It's almost as if they want people to eventually get exhausted of pursuing their refund so they can keep the money. Do not go here if you can avoid it.

Experiencia positiva: My nutritionist Shelby , I am seeing is very sensitive to my cultural diet and has really help me in Understanding my diet more and how I can approach food in a healthier manner. I enjoy the fact that she does not advocate for the all or nothing . She has placed me in a mode of not even wanting to take alcohol as I used to. She works diligently with who I am and does not force me to work against the grain of things I am not used to. One think though is that I think the nutritionists should familiarize themselves more with other culture diets so they could help better. I really like my nutritionist . Shelby has really been able to support my cravings, curve my drinking and encourage me with better diet choices through her constant advice and ability to place herself in my position. I have really found it quite helpful to have a nutritionist walk by my side.

Experiencia fantástica: My nutritionist was randomly assigned to me by WNC, which was on my insurance list of providers. She very quickly helped me overcome some wicked gastro symptoms, with the full support of my doctor. We are now working on long-term healing. At every session I learn something new, and I continue to heal. That's a win for me!

I never thought I needed to consult with a nutritionist. I have gained knowledge that I can use for the rest of my life. Experiencia negativa: Called into schedule one appointment and a receptionist by the name of Crystal booked me two other back to back appointments without notifying me. She also lied and told me we spoke the day of my appointment on the 12th and we did not, I only spoke to the therapist that morning. If you’re going to enforce an appointment cancellation policy, why would your office book appointments without the patients knowledge? How does that work? The therapist was very nice which is the only reason why I’m coming back for another appointment.

I decided to reach out to a Dietician for some guidance to help get some health concerns under control and my nutrition in order, and my visit with Shelby exceeded my expectations. She is incredibly knowledgeable, clearly very passionate about what she does and helping her clients (she really cares and took the time to get to know me and my concerns), and is very personable. I feel confident in her recommendations and I look forward to meeting my health goals with her help. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment off with Dr. Robyn Davinic on Zocdoc and I got a text to provide more information and I did. I got another text to call Washington Nutrition and Counseling Group to provide more information. I called, nobody picked up and I left a voicemail. On the appointment day they called me several times before I woke up early in the morning. I called after I woke up and they asked about my insurance and I told them the insurance information and then they asked if I have Medicare and Medicare and I said no. After all that the person said the Dr is not available today. Why would you state the dates and times you have available and then say you are not available at that time unless you are screening people based on a certain criteria! It doesn’t make any sense. It is unfair and a waste of time for a person who tries to get an appointment. Very poor customer service!

Experiencia fantástica: Great initial consultation with Shelby, the nutritionist. She was very informative about how to understand nutrition labels and the breakdown of carbs to protein to veggies/fruit I should consume on a daily basis to reach my health goals. I look forward to my follow up visit with her. The location is tucked away off Duke St in Alexandria, very quaint and serene office space.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with my counselor Bru has been life changing in allowing me to process some things I've dealt with since my childhood. He is patient thoughtful and insightful when helping me process thoughts and subsequent behaviors.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I scheduled my appointment about a month in advance and confirmed the time. I showed up on time to my appointment and checked in with the receptionist. I had an early morning meeting so I can head to work right after. The nutritionist showed up to the office nearly 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I should have left after 20 minutes waiting but I gave them a chance. That's actually not even the reason for the poor review. Four months later, I received a letter in the mail from COLLECTIONS for a $40 co pay I never paid. First, I never even received a bill, which goes to show the poor scheduling and overall poor logistics of this office. It was certainly not worth the ding on my credit score. Save yourselves the headache and negative credit reporting and avoid this place at all costs.
