All questions are answered by all the Nurses, Staff Therapists & Psychologists. Knowledgeable, Experienced and Caring. I would recommend this to anyone who needs or just have someone to speak to about things bothering you. Helping you move past things. You’re not Alone.

Experiencia negativa: I got there at 12:30pm for lab testing and they told me to wait til 1:30. I waited patiently until almost 2:00 pm . The lab staff told me to keep waiting after I already was waiting for long. Disappointed is the word I want to say about lab. This wasn’t the first time.

Experiencia negativa: I been coming here for years and every since they moved me to the hub it’s been a disaster I have to call for my own refills been out of meds for 3 weeks, you can never speak with a supervisor this place is a mess if you have somewhere else to go do it my mental health has declined all over again and it is as no joke I’m waiting for a televised call since 9:15 the representative told me they can send the link up to 20 minutes later I have never heard of such I ask Ana can I speak with a supervisor and she said they are not in this is a complete and utter joke.Im pissed off

Experiencia negativa: Please consider getting medical care from somewhere else. EVERY and I mean EVERY single time I've arrive for my appointment there is a 2 hour wait to see the doctor even when my appointment is early in the morning. My doctor forgets to put in my referrals and send me a doctors note after my appointment. I would call numerous times, just for them to say “they will send a message to my provider” and nothing after that. My case manager is no different. Please consider getting seen at a different location, this place needs to be shut down.

Experiencia negativa: Dr. McPherson is negligent. She's dropped 5 appointments without even telling me about it. I had to follow up about the appointments. One time, I had to call her superiors so that she would release my medication to my pharmacy; had I not held her accountable, she wouldn't have released my prescriptions, which were HIV preventative. She really needs to her doctoral license revoked and SunRiver needs to fire and replace her. I've been a patient for about 5 years and she only neglects me.

Experiencia fantástica: I ve been a patient since 2012 im not going to sugar coat it its been up sand down with some terrible unprofessional and careless staff/ doctors but since i met my primary physician Dr Paul De Guzman i fell cared , the best treatment have Ben since his there wherever he refers me is a convenient place for me he is amazing so informative although his super busy for the amount of patients he has due to his outstanding work . He still makes sure you get the service in place or refer you I wish I can give him a 10 stars along with the care manager Robert Peña perfect always on pint to meet patients needs very sweet and caring staff also my psychiatrist Dr C. Williams therapist Ms Gardner makes a perfect team which are working to ensure my life and health go in the right direction . The only problem is I moved to queens is very difficult to make it to the Bronx specially due to parking issues etc other than that love my team.

Experiencia fantástica: I love Dr. DeGuzman, hes professional, listens to his patients, I feel my issues are truly heard with him, he truly is one of a kind, the best doctor I have ever had. Sky, is so amazing, I truly like her a lot, shes professional, kind, funny, makes you feel okay, even if you are not, and Jose the Manger, hes great, has no issues stepping in and giving shots or whatever is needed of him. The staff in the back, I can't say enough good things about. The front staff are good, but today doing new patient paperwork took almost an hour as the staff kept asking her for help which delayed our paperwork. Overall, this wasn't her fault I feel they need more staff as patient to staff ratio is crazy.. They need more help in the front. However, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a client since 2018 unfortunately this will be the last time I will enter the premises because no one shows any accountability for their actions and their lack of custom servers to taxpayers. They undermine their clients and do not take accountability for anything that there employees do or say it seems that they do not have any standards. They just want people to just come in to work as a Chef, accountability, and respect. This is the most important thing to me. It’s impossible to give respect to a person who doesn’t even respect their selves or their job, I hope this helps someone when they are looking for services with some River health. Maybe it would be better to go to another location or different company that has the proper training for mental health health patients.

Experiencia negativa: Disgusting location, people shooting up & literally doing drugs right outside & across the street. Nasty disgusting filthy location, who would want to visit a place surrounded by depression. The doctor Nicketta McPherson is late on absolutely every visit and the wait exceeds 40 mins. So I decided to arrived 20 mins late instead of sitting for 40 mins & they cancelled my appointment even after I called and alerted them that I would be late. I just had to get some results read & they told me to reschedule even tho the doctor was busy and I would have never been seen at my initial time because the doctor was already busy with a patient.

Experiencia negativa: Folks...I have already written a review and felt the need to add that Sunriver Health is absolutely not recommended. When you have problems, you can't directly call the clinic. Your call is received by a call center representative that isn't anywhere near the facility and it is very difficult to resolve issues. Folks, its an absolute nightmare! I had difficulty receiving mediations ...filed formal complaints with no resolution. Tried contacting Anne Kaufman Nolon, CEO at the corporate office....no luck! It's one big ugly beauracracy. If you bothered to read the reviews, do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else...its not worth it. One star is too many stars...absolutely!

Experiencia negativa: I went for a simple hiv test the coordinator was calling me so often but she can’t do anything but make the appointment I waited 45 min was seen by a female african American doctor she took seven valves of blood from me and when I returned for my results the test was never requested but they needed more blood I wanted to hurt someone and I felt disgusted that I was disregarded younger women of color should never go here they will be ignored my experience was terrible haven’t been to the dr since thanx sun river u solidified my distrust in the medical system

I can say I have an awesome doctor who understands any medical problems and do a quick referral to specialists. But this wait time is horrible. That's the only thing thst needs to be fixed if paitents have an appointment at a certain time why have them wait 2 hours or longer?

Experiencia negativa: Poorly trained and uninformed staff, with very little phone etiquette. No consideration for the privacy of patient information. Staff makes irresponsible decisions for patients without their consent. Referrals are poorly coordinated. Medical team is unavailable to answer pertinent questions. Appointments are scheduled but you still have to wait for hours when you arrive. No follow-up on labs once they are delivered to the clinic — I had to constantly call to confirm if the lab tests were completed, then it took one month to get an appointment to review said results.

Experiencia negativa: This Brightpoint health is one of the most unprofessional places to seek treatment. The therapist act as you shouldn’t see them until you’ve worked out your own issues on your own time and not theirs. I’m sure it has something to do with them working from home. The First Lady told me I need to just deal with my problems simply. The next person kept complaining on the phone how my file was done right as if I wasn’t stressed enough. And I guess when things started to look like work. He made me feel very uncomfortable by recommending that I switch to someone else.

Experiencia negativa: I needed a permanent place where I can see the Doctor. Someone recommend Brite Point Health to me. My first experience was horrible. It's set up like the DMV and it's packed. You wait in line (there are a few of them) and when you finally get to the counter they give you paperwork to fill out. As any first time client would. I waited a long time until my name was called. And I had an Appointment. Once you get in back your given a Doctor who will be my primary care. I needed a referral & couldn't get one without one. They gave me many referrals for all kinds of things. A few of them were not necessary so their definitely a place that likes to hit your insurance card (hard). I wasn't given dates to these referrals which I had to stand back in the same line as when I came in to collect. I received a quick physical and they did blood work. I got there in the AM when the Sun was still coming up & Left when it was starting to go down. I hope it was just that day and my next appointment is different. I'll be glad to change this if I'm wrong.

They said they only got 2 personnel seeing people...why schedule people for a 12pm appointment when they cant feasibly be seen until nearly 3 hours later? Billing medicaid that's why, I'm guessing.

I wasn't just a number. The staff is good. Transportation picked me up and brought me back home. They even feed you too. Nowhere is perfect because people are not perfect. Thanks so much.
