Experiencia fantástica: I just completed the 6-week challenge and I’m so proud of the results! It was definitely challenging, but not impossible. The coaches gave me the structure, accountability, and encouragement I needed. The entire community is super welcoming! The workouts are fast and short (50min) which I love. It’s something different everytime and the music is always on point. I followed their diet and workout plan, and it worked. Over the 6 weeks, I lost over 5 lbs, cut my body fat by more than 7%, and gained 4lbs of muscle at the same time. The program wasn’t easy, but it showed me what I’m capable of when I stay consistent with training and nutrition.

Experiencia fantástica: Did the 6 week challenge here at The Camp in Downtown Long Beach- great experience! This environment definitely instills a different level of discipline and accountability. At first, I was intimidated but the staff is very motivating and non-judgmental; you can tell they want to see you make progress! The people that attend the classes are just as friendly and encouraging. The classes are a total of 50 minutes but it is very well paced, and the instructors give demos of every exercise before asking you to do them. They also have a variety of competitions, group trainings, and one-on-one training. I would definitely recommend this gym and challenge to anyone that wants to kickstart a fitness journey or wants a sense of community for their workouts.

Experiencia fantástica: I visited this location while traveling into Long Beach for a conference. The location was only 3 blocks from my hotel so was able to stick to my normal workout routine. The staff was very friendly and helped out a first time drop in member with parking info and signups. Coaches were great as well! Workouts kicked my butt and got me ready for my long days! I'll definitely stop in again when in town.

If you're looking for an even bigger challenge, their Elite training and other programs will take your fitness journey to a higher level. Most of all I love their super friendly staff; who sometimes put together gatherings/activities (non fitness related) we can all enjoy. The Camp isn't only a gym, they've become a second family for many love you guys!!!

I want to especially recognize the manager at this location, Marisa. She has always been so welcoming! When I first dropped in to inquire on joining, she took her time to walk me through the membership process, she didn't pressure me, walked me through how the workouts worked (I'd never done HIIT workouts before joining) and it was her approach that convinced me to join. As I've been coming here, you'll always see her at the front desk smiling and welcoming us in by name and the other staff are also very friendly. That has made a huge difference and has created a unique and unforgettable experience! I HIGHLY recommend this Camp location.

The location is tucked away within the Promenade lined with restaurants and although small, packs a punch with every workout. The gym is clean, equipped with well quality equipment, and the staff is superb. You are always greeted with a warm hello as you enter by the wonderful staff members. The Director Marisa is charming, sweet, and super supportive to the members and her staff. The coaches are ready to hit each class with thrills, laughs, and lots of motivation to get you through those tough reps. Coach Joee, Jam, Jordan, and Donny are AMAZING! I joined in 2019 and I was nervous at first being so out of shape but the trainers and staff are so supportive and encouraging. If you’re unsure about doing a certain exercise the trainers have no problem giving a modified version for you. They really take the time to build personal relationships with you and motivate you to keep coming back!
