Experiencia fantástica: What an incredible office this is. Everyone is so friendly! Big shout-out to Jillian, Jenear, and Tami. As of my first visit I was 256 pounds any simply hoping maybe I could get back down to 210. Incredibly enough, what I thought would be not possible turned out to be really easy! Just 2 months in I'm already at 220 pounds! In fact, it's been so easy that I was able to modify my target weight to 195 like I was originally too afraid to think I would fail to get to. Even if the next 25 pounds takes a little longer than the first 35 to achieve, I am now confident that I'm in the right hands to accomplish any goal I am aiming for. Dr Jillian is even running with me in my first 5K in May and I am looking forward to it!

I appreciate the individualized plan I have with Dr. Ziltzer. He has helped me to understand that obesity is a medical condition that needs medical attention just like any other medical condition one has. I can’t do it on my own. I need help. I recognize that and welcome his ongoing support and that of his staff. I have always loved the approach given by Scottsdale Weight Loss Center which is nonjudgmental and a very positive approach! We have access to live online classes with psychologists and registered dietitians. Don’t be afraid to ask for help everyone at SWLC makes you feel very comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a SWL patient for 10+ yrs, first in Scottsdale and now, Gilbert. I still visit the clinic monthly. Amy Kalfus, FNP runs the Gilbert clinic. The staff is knowledgabe, friendly, and helpful. Appointment run on time. My time with Amy includes a review of the numbers and how each one affects the final, a review of systems to hone in on my biggest challenges, and an action plan for the next month. It may sound cut and dried but, it's really quite deep and personal. Sleep, constipation, sex, relationships, negative emotions, sabotage, and guilty pleasures. This is where the clinician can make all the difference in the world. Amy can take on any topic. Clearly, her extensive preparation and experience for this role is evident. Amy's warm and compassionate nature, her smart, practical and reality-based suggesstions and positive, non-judgemental approach leaves me feeling inspired and capable, ready to take on the world. i love SWL!

I’m still on my journey and the choice of maintenance options is an outstanding feature. I’m confident I’ll get to goal and stay there. This isn’t a diet that I will be “on” then “off” but a continuous program. Update: Steady process, steps from goal. This phase has been my downfall in the past - so close to goal, feeling healthy and in danger of regain - but the SWLC program has a plan for this phase, too! SWLC is a medical practice treating my disease with a broad set of treatment options.

I gained a lot of weight the last two years. I did not understand why. I went on the diet plan. I immediately stopped taking the short term insulin. Cally my weight loss doctor asked me to get tested to see if my body was producing insulin, so I did. It turns out that I am Type 2. From the moment I check in I am always greeted with a smile by Luana. Through the process of weigh in I am informed of how I am progressing in my treatment by Alyssa who is really sweet, and lastly I meet with Cally who is AMAZING at what she does. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. Overall, I feel the entire staff truly cares about their patients. Since I have been going through their program I have lost 43lbs and have continued to keep it off. I highly recommend this place and appreciate what they have done for me. They changed my life and can do the same for anyone willing to listen to cally’s advice!
