Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient of Alive Wellness and IV for nearly a year and it has changed my life. I had a concussion (traumatic brain injury) in July 2022 and suffered from dizziness, nausea, vertigo, visual processing issues and exercise malaise (dysautonomia). I couldn't exercise, got tired easily, and could barely work 50% as most of my work is on screens and the visual processing challenges were just killing me. I saw every doctor I could imagine -- neurologists, cardiologists -- and got PT, almost no progress. In May 2024 and Dr. Nani immediately diagnosed me and noted that my history of multiple concussions and PTSD meant that my brain was in constant low level state of activation and trauma, and wouldn't be able to heal and benefit from PT until it calmed down. We started on a regimen of IVs, including NAD+, and more recent ketamine treatments. Much of this has been out of pocket, but Dr. Nani has been flexible and respectful of my financial limits, and worked with me every step of the way. A constant source of support and frankly, touch love, which I needed. Since then I am 80% better and more to come. Moreover, my underlying issues of anxiety and depression are also much improved. Laurel has extensive experience with administering Ketamine and it shows. Prior and following each ketamine journey, she evaluates my vitals to ensure that my body is in good shape for the procedure. She is so very gentle and kind. These attributes facilitate an environment of safety. Upon the completion of the journey, she places her hand on mine with a lovely sense of caring. This is her healing manner to let me know that it's time to open my eyes. Laurel has been exceedingly accurate with her dosing recommendations which has been extraordinary for my healing. I have been dealing with moderate treatment-resistant depression since I suffered a concussion 6 years ago. Within the first treatment, I experienced the first ray of sunlight with the depression. Each subsequent session has enlivened my body with JOY.
