Experiencia negativa: Great providers but poor management/ business practices. I was a patient here for 1.5 years and decided to leave a couple of months ago due to the absurdly high fees. It is ridiculous for a practice that relies heavily on insured patients to charge $100 (10x my insurance copay) to cancel an appointment. This practice is located in the middle of a city full of working professionals that sometimes need to adjust their schedules. It shows that taking care of paitents well-being is not the primary concern here just short term profit (doesn’t even make business sense long term considering I left as soon as I was charged this and they had been charging a larger fee to my insurance on a weekly basis).

Not only is she a very talented practitioner, she is a lovely human. I have only seen a handful of the rest of the team, but I would have no hesitation working them because of fact that they have chosen to work with Elyse - says all I need to know. I started at CBHA with chronic digestive and sleep issues, as well as cystic acne. I won’t say that acupuncture “cured” those issues, but with Elyse’s guidance I found an integrative medicine approach that worked with acupuncture to address each of these concerns. Experiencia fantástica: I came to Cherry Blossom a couple of months ago, and started seeing Vallerie for acupuncture treatments for lower back pain due to scoliosis. She is fantastic! Honestly so is the rest of the team - nothing but friendly and professional. I first came in as a definite skeptic that acupuncture would be effective for my lower back pain. I have now had about 2 months of treatments, and my pain has gone from about constant 4-5/10 to minimal. I started feeling better the day after my first treatment and have continued to improve. After going to a chiropractor multiple times a week for years and not experiencing substantial change, this was an unexpected but most welcome surprise! Vallerie is a stud, and I'm very grateful.

Both have asked me what it is I am trying to accomplish with my treatments and have worked towards that goal. They seem to keep meticulous notes and track your progress as you go. This is great when you go from one to the other because it ensures that everyone is informed about the treatment plan, which is essential to me. The best thing about this team for me is personalized care though. Both ladies are great at what they do and have never let me leave without going over the treatment received, possible physical effects of that treatment, and what follow on treatment is suggested. They both are very aware that people use their services for self-care and work hard to ensure that you feel rested, relaxed, and more balanced when you leave. Experiencia fantástica: For those of you wondering if you should try acupuncture - do it! I started seeing Elyse about 8 weeks ago and when I came to Elyse I had just received some medical news that seemed pretty scary! My primary doctors were sending me for tests and MRIs... they wanted to treat me with medicine for things I felt they were really guessing about. At the same time I was in a career transition out of an incredibly stressful job and a lot going on in my personal life. It felt like everything was falling apart! I decided to give acupuncture a try mostly to calm my anxiety and stress, as I had been thinking about it for a while. I stumbled upon CBHA via a google search and saw that CBHA accepted insurance -- how great! The initial consultation was super easy to book online. Elyse was helpful in answering all of my questions about acupuncture at the session and she even put my mind at ease about the needles themselves (I hate getting shots and blood drawn)! Most of the time, I can hardly feel the needles. Now that I have been for about 8 sessions, I can tell it is working! First, I'm completely off all medications (I decided to ditch western medicine and give holistic and ancient techniques a full blown try) and I'm feeling healthy for the first time in a long time... second, my painful headaches are gone... third, my stomach and digestion seems to be much better... as well as my overall mood! A few times I have told Elyse about a pain here or there and thanks to a few extra needles, it's gone away almost instantly! Also, don't be afraid of cupping if she suggests it -- it works! I'm starting on herbs this weeks too! For those that have tried acupuncture, you probably already know that it works. I had never tried it before CBHA. What I can say to those that are looking for a new acupuncturist is, you can't go wrong with Elyse. She is warm, she listens and I really feel like she cares about her patients (keep in mind I ditched my doctors because I felt like they weren't listening and didn't truly care so this says a lot). To summarize, 5 stars: - Elyse is very personable & warm - great treatment that works - easy to book appointments & good hours - cute and inviting office - parking is usually no trouble, good location

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Cherry Blossom for about 6 months and I just wanted to share how incredibly freeing it has been for me. I don't experience much pain, but our sessions have focused on my digestion, circulation, and anxiety. Elyse has a gift that allows me to feel more connected to myself through the acupuncture. The office space is so warm and intimate too. Elyse listens and allows for the space to really recognize the places we need healing.
