Experiencia fantástica: I would like to just say for the record that I have been going to Dr. Johnson for approximately 30 years for various issues. From very aggressive back and hip pain, to just general maintenance and preventive care . Everyone at the office Is extremely professional, kind, caring, and extremely good at their job. Recently, I went in for extreme edema in my legs and feet, and Dr. Steve was a miracle worker. He used a laser treatment and you could see my legs and feet just go back to normal right before my eyes. I can’t thank them enough for all they do there, and I have my daughter and husband going there at various times. Thank you so much for your good work.

She has massage therapy to lock in your adjustments and I've used all therapists and all are great. Kurt has been great in helping see what is lacking in my body and what vitamins can assist with better health. For years I’ve had severe debilitating chronic pain, have used pain medication, & tried every modality, gadget, or treatment I could find over several years without lasting results. I was in severe pain, very depressed & definitely hopeless. My activities, including my ability to work a full time job, were very limited. After a January 2023 car wreck I became a client here (went from my usual debilitated state to an added complete inability to raise my right arm). For weeks I’ve been treated 3X/week by Dr Steve Avitabile (now 2X/week). He uses “The Activator Method” to do safe & gentle adjustments with cutting edge technology that he also taught other chiropractors for years. Dr Steve added 1X/week work with Savannah Fisher (Masters in Kinesiology & CPT) for stretching, posture, home programs and now adding in strengthening exercises, plus weekly therapeutic massage with Becky Troyer CMT, LDHS that has made an incredible difference, & soon I will address my gut health with enzyme nutritionist/digestive health specialist Kurt Johnson. I received a posture pillow & have been measured for custom shoe leveling orthotics to align my feet. The combined wholistic approach from this amazing team of professionals has made a miraculous change in my pain, my health, my energy, my life, my work, my activities, and my quality of life. I’m more hopeful about my life and my potential than I’ve been since my pain started. I always feel wonderful after these massages. This practice also has kinesiotherapy. With her masters degree in kinesiology, Savannah helps with specific exercises and stretches to help reduce pain while improving my ability to move. I rate this practice all 5's! I’ve never been pressured to purchase a treatment package or pre-pay for treatment. Dr. Johnson makes treatment recommendations based on what’s happening with my body. Shortly after a car accident I needed adjustments 1-2 times a week. Other times I may have an appointment every 1-2 months. She offers wholistic treatment with massage therapists, and nutritional recommendations. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time going to a chiropractor and I was very surprised by the results. Dr. Johnson was able to pin point the exact areas where I was feeling discomfort. I was shocked at how misaligned my body really was, but it was validating to know that there were real reasons why my body aches the way it was. My head also tended to lean to the right but just after my very first adjustment, my head naturally stays straight and I walked out feeling taller! I will definitely keep coming. A very quiet, clean place with friendly and knowledgeable staff!

With back issues dating back decades, she has kept me comfortable and mobile enough to ride and compete in Eventing. Massage services with Becky, Lily and Kriss are integral to this as well, and I've been really happy with how my massages have relaxed tight muscles and restored flexibility, especially after an adjustment. Experiencia fantástica: A Healing Place: This is a place where you walk out feeling better than when you walked in. After moving here, I tried two different chiropractors before finding Dr. Johnson. She was able to find what was out of whack and correct it, plus offered preventative exercises so that I can do more with less pain and have been able to reduce my adjustment frequency over time. Kurt has also offered excellent advice that has increased my energy, and Becky's massages are the icing on the cake. All members of the staff are helpful and professional.

Experiencia negativa: They do not check if your insurance is in network with them ( well I was told I was in network with them ). Make sure you check it first before signing any papers at the office ( they are not clear with that ). You will have to pay out of pocket after your first session around ($130) then you will get an extra bill! Make sure to call your insurance first.

Experiencia fantástica: I want to express my appreciation of a positive outcome of dramatically reduced pain by the cold laser procedure by Kurt Johnson. I had back fusion surgery in November '19 from L4 to T10. I have had consistent mid-back pain for the past few months - not just when laying down at night but also during the day. After 3 procedures by Kurt Johnson the majority of the pain was gone and the swelling across my back was reduced. That situation allowed me to increase my rehab with a trainer to strengthen my back muscles. The combination of effective pain treatment and rehab to strengthen my back muscles has been very beneficial.

I had always been skeptical of Chiropractic care, but yet, I have my horses adjusted! Anyway, I suffer from vertigo, and then I had a neck injury, from riding. It was causing me daily nausea and headaches. I was really miserable and having a hard time focusing. My neck was out of alignment causing muscle tension, which was impacting my nervous system. I felt my that my quality of life was declining. I decided to make an appointment with Dr. J, and wow, I feel amazing. I have not felt this good in a really long time. No more headaches, my mind is clear. Not to mention, my horses are going so much better because they are not compensating for my body being out of alignment. I am a true believer. My husband has seen the difference in how I feel, so he is planning to schedule an appointment to get started. The staff is wonderful, and I highly recommend!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have to let everyone know that enzyme therapy WORKS! I was told my medical doctor that the results of my Boston Heart blood test showed that I have a particular kind of cholesterol that is hereditary in nature and was climbing higher with each test. She wanted me to start taking a Statin. I of course, didn't want to, knowing that they can cause as many problems as the ones they solve in the long run. So, I talked to Becky, she did the research and recommended that I take Vascular, which I did, along with adding Vit E and Flaxseed Oil to my daily regime. My checkup with my doctor loomed....and I had decided that if my cholesterol did not improve, I would go on a statin. BUT, THE BAD INDICATORS DROPPED OVER 300 POINTS INTO THE NORMAL RANGE!!!!!!! I was so very excited! All of my other markers also improved, and my medical doctor was so excited that I am to continue what I am doing, and see her in 9 months! I can honestly say, enzyme care is not as cheap as the statin route. But this is my philosophy. You can pay it now and have good health.....OR you can pay it later with multiple manufactured meds (ones that treat the side effects of the meds you go on.....it becomes a vicious circle!) I know that I am a firm believer in enzyme therapy and along with chiropractic care, it will be my first go to treatment whenever possible. I fell on the ice years ago and was told by a surgeon that I would need a shoulder replacement. Dr Johnson, after examining me, determined that the problem was in my neck, and after a few treatments, the pain is greatly reduced. I am so happy with the results that I will continue to seek her help first if I incur other issues.
