2 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Long is amazing. It is so hard to find doctors that listen to you and explain you what is happening with your body. Dr. Long takes the time to do that. The only thing that could improve is that it's hard to get an appointment with her. But it is probably because she has many patients. Something that I'd improve too is having the ability to get tests done in their office. It is inconvenient to go somewhere else for each thing you need.

4 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Dr Long is an amazing clinician. She doesn't rush you, in fact, she will sit and have a discussion as if you are the only patient in the world. She has great medical knowledge and stays current. Great bedside manner and an all-around stellar doctor.

Also, she is excellent at explaining medications and and possible side affects. I cannot recommend Dr Long more highly. Have been going there for 25+ years and have never been disappointed. She is very respectful and a great listener, as we do have varying opinion on things.

She takes time to thoroughly explain everything and you never feel rushed during the appointment. She is very responsive and always follow-up with a phone call or online portal. She is by far the best doctor I have ever had.

She is consistently thorough and kind, and her humanity, patience, and work ethic always shine through. Dr. Long believes me and takes my concerns seriously. I feel like we are partners. In the past couple years, she took the time to help me find a medication that works and causes minimal side effects for me. This was a time consuming trial and error process, but she did lots of research and listening. It was clear that Dr. Long wanted me to feel as good as possible, and I now do! I am so thankful for Dr. Long and the fabulous work that she does. Her impact on my quality of life has been tremendous. I am so grateful. She is also mindful of finances and provides tips on saving money at the pharmacy. Lastly, Dr. Long responds very timely via phone call or online portal. She is the best!

5 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Long has been my Doctor for over 31 years now... she delivered my daughter, who is now 30! She no longer delivers babies, but has provided me with the most incredible health care possible. She is empathetic, caring and an amazing Doctor, who really listens to you, stays up to date on medical knowledge (truly amazes me the extent of her expertise!) and explores all avenues determining the best and safest treatment. I couldn’t recommend her more highly and am so grateful she’s been there for me all of these years.

Dr Long: Personable, respectful and kind with excellent, up to date medical knowledge and diagnostic skills. She takes time to explain her diagnoses and her recommendations for treatment.

6 years ago Experiencia negativa: I hate giving bad reviews but I want to give a heads up to new patients... the 0 star is for the receptionist Maggie. I changed my PCP to Dr. Long after reading so many good reviews but after calling the office to make an appointment it was a nightmare dealing with this girl over the phone. The phone call was on 8/15/2019 around 3 p.m. From the moment we started speaking she was generally unfriendly and it just felt like pulling teeth trying to schedule an appointment. She kept rudely saying things like "As I already told you before, the ONLY available appointment would be on 8/20 at 11 a.m., but other than that specific date there is no availability until end of November." When I asked about possibility seeing Dr. Goodfellow instead, the receptionist brushed me off and made it seem like that wouldn't work out either because apparently that doctor is in surgery for most of the year? I get scheduling can be a challenge, but at least be friendly about it. I figured it was the end of the day and she must be tired, but after trying to brush off her rude tone I started to get the feeling that she genuinely did not want to help me make an appointment. Very odd and uncomfortable. Overall, I got the impression that it would not be a welcoming experience if I ever went to this office...
We appreciate your feedback, which we take very seriously. Particularly true due to the nature of this unique situation, as well as being our general preference, we would like to have spoken with you directly regarding your concerns. However, we have been unable to get hold of you. At the moment you had called, one of our own staff was suddenly challenged with a potentially life threatening problem and the paramedics were arriving. The individual you were speaking with was very shaken up by the emergency unfolding, and she normally would have worked to better understand your needs. Please know that what you experienced is not consistent with the standards we have for our staff.. We are committed to rendering care with compassion, from the first call to our office, as yours was.

6 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Dr Long went over and beyond my expectations! I am so glad she is my primary care provider. This is my first time seeing her and I did not feel rushed, she patiently explained things to me. I know she has a full schedule of other patients but I felt like I had her full undivided attention. She is too good to be true. I am very thankful to be under Dr Long’s care!

6 years ago Experiencia fantástica: Besides being a superior diagnostician, Dr. Long' approach to this appointment was one in which she was kind, empathetic, and respectful as she examined my torn Achilles tendon. She also provided the extra measure of making sure that I was booked to see an orthopedic specialist a few hours later.

I called with a problem at 10 a.m. and the doctor make time in her busy schedule to see me at noon. I've never had such a terrific doctor. She's the best.
