The entire cardiac rehab team was absolutely incredible—from start to finish, they supported me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. From day one, their positive attitudes and genuine care made the rehab process feel a lot less intimidating and so much more empowering. The exercise physiologists guided me through every workout with the perfect balance of encouragement, safety, and just the right amount of tough love. I not only got stronger physically—I regained confidence in myself. A special shoutout to the team’s dietitian as well—thank you for changing how I think about food. The cooking demos, recipe ideas, and approachable advice were actually fun (yes, fun!) and totally life-changing. I now feel more prepared to make heart-healthy choices that don’t feel like punishment. Thank you to every single member of the team for your knowledge, your patience, and for always making me feel like more than just a patient. You’ve made a lasting impact on my health—and made the journey genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone going through cardiac rehab. This team is top-notch. ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience over 36 sessions. Very much liked the Cardio focus with both physical and educational aspects each session. They made the Pritikin eating plan tasty and sensible. The staff was knowledgeable and focused on using data - my performance, my thoughts - to tailor the program. They pushed me just right based on physical data. While being friendly and listening. Thanks!

She explains everything and includes you in patient care decisions. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a caring, thorough, primary care physician!

I’ve seen a Cardiologist as well as another Internist with no luck of finding the right medication or treatment plan for my hypertension and obesity. Dr. Okoro has switched my medication as well as altered my lifestyle (I.e. diet, exercise, stress, etc) to ensure that I get on the right track. I’m so grateful !! I would recommend Okoro to anyone who’s looking to begin a healthy lifestyle journey.

Experiencia positiva: I am sick and have a newborn. I’m late (5-10 mins after their grace period ends) and they call my husband to say that they are waiting for me. They make me walk in while I am very sick only to tell me that they will not be taking me as a patient. I told them how I have a newborn and that I was sick so everything just got delayed can the doctor please see me. The rude receptionist at the McKinney office said no ma’am she is completely booked and that she wont leave a message for Dr. Naveed as she was busy with a tele-med appt. I drove 35 mins just to get an appointment with them. This is how they treat a sick and weak patient on postpartum. Don’t recommend! New offices are the worst. No manners by the receptionists and no ounce of kindness for the sick. EDIT: Updating to 3 stars for this office because the director of operations called me immediately and the head of teams spoke with me to understand the situation better. They were very kind and apologized about the misunderstanding. I’m happy about how they handled this situation.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Naveed is amazing, she is listen and pays attention to all my concerns. She is very kind and even took her time to write down all the English detail info that I needed since I mentioned to her that English is my second language, therefore I'm not 100% understand the medical language. And now my husband and my parents will be going there as well. I just found out from their Allen office now a Cambodian translator is available if my family needs it.

Experiencia negativa: I will not talk about the physician. I am talking about the system of this clinic. It is weird. The staff is not professional at all. They will bother you with many reminders to submit your pre-check questionnaire even after you do it. However, they are forgetting to ask you about the most important things like to be fasting before coming to do your lab tests. I reserved two separate appointments for me and my wife. However, we did the two appointments at the same time in the same room. I think it is not professional.

She prescribed me a good treatment which worked for my health improvement and would definitely recommend her for future visits.

Experiencia fantástica: The Doctor was awesome and the staff! The only thing I noticed to many urine cups in the bathroom with names and DOB! HIPA. And no paper towels to dry hands in the bathroom.

Kristen is very caring, polite, interested in you, takes the time to understand the problems, ask questions to clarify, and most important, she is genuinely concerned about you. There have been 2 visits with Kristen and both times she has displayed the above qualities and she is very knowledgeable.

Experiencia negativa: Very long wait time's, 2nd appointment left me in room for an hour, they forgot me. 3rd visit tried tele-health, didn't send link until 15 minutes into my appointment. Now I'm waiting on a refund for meditation they never sent, won't return my calls.

Experiencia negativa: I went for my Annual visit which is 100% covered by my insurance. However, I am surprised to receive a bill of $166.54 for an outpatient visit. When I called the doctors office about this, I was told I had questions which doesn’t cover under Annual visit. All that I answered was whatever the doctor has asked me, which was always the case with my previous Annual visits in Michigan and NJ. It is billed for insurance for both my Annual visit and an outpatient visit. 2 charges for 1 appointment. Extremely disappointed.
