Experiencia negativa: I'm starting on a positive note. They answered the phone, which is rare these days. If you have any medication related to mental health (even if it's prescribed for other reasons), you may be treated with little respect. It felt like they were ready to pull out a straightjacket over the phone. I called a week ago to transfer my prescription from CVS (who never answers calls) to Moose (who does). My question was simple: how can I get all my medications at the same time? My husband stopped by to pick up the prescription, but they gave him a full bottle with the wrong dosage of a "C2" medication (a term I wasn’t familiar with). When he pointed out the error at the counter, they essentially told him to leave. I called right away and politely introduced myself, saying, "I’m new to your pharmacy. I have enough medication to last through Friday, and insurance will cover everything by Saturday morning. Also, the dosage of the medication I just received is incorrect." The technician put the phone down, spoke to the pharmacist, and I overheard the pharmacist say, "SHE HAS ENOUGH UNTIL MONDAY" without talking to me. I was told my profile was "flagged" because, from their perspective, I kept asking for a higher and CORRECT dosage of the "C2" medication. They also misinterpreted my request to sync my medications as trying to get them filled early. After my doctor contacted CVS, I now have two full bottles of this high-level narcotic. One from CVS with the correct dosage, while the one from Moose is incorrect. Meanwhile, for another medication I rely on to maintain my actual aliveness, they outright told me I’d just have to deal going two days without it, even though I wasn’t asking for it early. I’m not a drug addict or a criminal. I’ve never even had a speeding ticket. My husband has a commercial driver’s license, and I’m in my third year of a PhD program. I’ve worked at Google—feel free to check my LinkedIn for verification This experience was eye opening and what could have been a life-threatening situation for me was completely dismissed. On a positive note, I had no idea this is how people with addiction or mental health challenges are often treated. My family and friends are now motivated to take action and advocate for this marginalized group. I asked to speak with the pharmacist who made that quick judgment today, but they refused to give me a name or let me talk to anyone. If I were them, I’d prepare for an audit.

Experiencia negativa: Moose Pharmacy switched my medication a few months ago to the cheapest, most disgusting tasting pills you could imagine. It's the same medicine, just a new brand. And it is HORRIBLE. I'm begging yall to go back to the original Buprenorphine pills that you used to have. I have to let those disgusting orange pills melt under my tongue 6 times a day for 30 minutes each time. 3 pills, each cut into a half. So that's literally 3 hours everyday of my life I have those rotten tasting pills under my tongue. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING GOOD, GO BACK TO THE ONES YOU HAD BEFORE. I can barely get through a half a pill, much less 3 entire pills everyday. They are absolutely disgusting!!! Please go back to the old kind!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Stop playing…. Moose is on the loose !!! All those “chain operations “ like CVS,WALMART,WALGREENS have No personable persons just Bot ppl programmed to fill scripts. Moose has a personable staff, not long lines, friendly faces and you can actually talk to a pharmacist instead of a litany of, press 1,2,or 3 to reach another voice prompt! For me ? I’ll stick with the smaller entity which serves me better and respond in a timely matter, instead of getting my meds and bread at the same spot. Peace.

Experiencia negativa: I have just had it with Moose Pharmacy Salisbury. My entire family has gone there since 1962 when it was Towne Pharmacy. When Moose took over, at first they were great, but it has gradually turned into more and more of a hassle. They do not listen to my doctor and me. They second guess us, don't bother to call with their made-up questions, then don't have it when I go to pick it up. Or, refill a prescription I don't need and didn't order. Or make robocalls telling me I'm not taking my medications when indeed I am. Then they demean me for being dissatisfied with their lousy service. Finding a new pharmacy! One that will work with me, not do their own thang.

It offers an option to pay by credit card but then moves you to open a PayPal account and there is no way around it. I will NEVER again have any PayPal account. I almost lost thousands of dollars because of PayPal

Experiencia negativa: I've been with this pharmacy for quite some time now , and every month I tell myself it's gonna get better, but it doesn't it just gets worse. I'm on several medication's, but I always have a problem with my pain medication, it's either I have to wait a couple of days, or they don't have it, but the thing is a friend of mine gets the same kind of medicine that I get, and she never has a problem, as a matter of fact she even gets her's 2 days early every month, and she also goes to the same doctor as me, but they are always giving me a hard time. I do not recommend going to this pharmacy, and I will be switching pharmacy's..

I upped my dose to account for my size (I’m fluffy not fat )!!!!lol An I think I will try the 20 mg to c if that works all looks good 1 thump up if the price goes down a little that b nice

Experiencia positiva: I used to use Innes Street Drug. Their customer service was exemplary, and Moose said they would offer the same. It is most definitely not. When I can get someone they are usually helpful and apologetic, but I keep jumping through the same hoops as far as getting things set up. I am moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I realize there is a good chance that Innes Street Drug was just so good that I got spoiled, and that the expectation that Moose would carry on in the same way may have been unrealistic. I prefer to shop local, but I guess I will start using a chain. Today, 3/19/18, I spoke with Kyle, the owner, who had read this review. that I posted earlier, giving 3 stars, He was extremely nice and very interested in finding out where things had gone off the track and getting it fixed so they would be able to offer their customers the high level of service they are committed to providing. It appears that the problems were largely automation and communication issues arising out of the merger. He reviewed the corrections and discussed how he has used this as an opportunity to train his staff and troubleshoot the system. As a result, I decided not to move my prescriptions to another pharmacy, and change my rating to the 4 stars (for now- 5 stars has to be earned over time).

They have a nice store front variety also.. as well as a ice cream parlor inside. Definitely my choice.. I drive a 35 minute trip once a month to get all my prescriptions and will continue too.. unless they open up a place in Statesville!
