I had a fantastic massage yesterday from Nancy which helped me loosen up my tight neck and shoulder muscles. And today I had my first chiropractice appointment with Dr. Ashley. She did a very thorough assessment of my multiple issues from soccer injuries and my tech neck issues--including xrays. It was very helpful to hear her assessment of my xrays and hear what she would be working on for my adjustments. Feeling some relief already and looking forward to continued visits to correct these issues and prevent further damage. She also recommended better ergonomics for my desk. I like that she gave preventative tips to address the cause of my tech neck.

Experiencia fantástica: I am an active, athletic, healthy 58 year old. While moving 200 pound oak logs on the back of a truck, I slipped and wrenched my back. First back injury ever. Went to see my regular doctor who prescribed rest, ice, muscle relaxers and pain killers. A week later I had no relief and was in worse pain than ever, I could not even breath properly. I was flat out in bed for 2+ weeks. When I called Renew Chiropractic, Dr Stalmack's office manager squeezed me into the schedule immediately. An x-ray showed that my sacrum was twisted out of position, causing my hips to tilt, left to right, approximately an inch. Dr Stalmack was empathetic to my pain, gentle/precise with her adjustments and carefully explained (with a model and or illustrations) what was going on. I felt relief after my first visit. By the 4th visit, my hips were back in position and we focused on releasing spasmed muscles. Dr Stalmack was the key to restoring my strong health. My issues were chronic headaches, neck and upper back tension, and lower back aches that radiated down my legs at times. I used to take ibuprofen 3-5x a week to deal with the various aches and muscle tension.
