We recently needed cough, cold, and flu items, along with Band-Aids, and analgesics for Ukrainian refugees in a project my nonprofit organization, Living Water Global Initiative, is doing in Charlotte with a plant church there That serves the needs of some of the 10,000 Ukrainian refugees in Charlotte alone. There are over 500,000 in the United States seeking asylum from a country that has been at war for years now under the oppression of Russia. Because of the help of the pharmacist, Whit, along with his associate, Cathy, we were able to make our small amount of money go a long way. Whit helped me decide what the families needed most because he knew our budget was very limited. Moose Pharmacy also handles our personal medications and always goes out of their way in that regard also to meet our personal needs regularly, too. These small, personal pharmacies are few and far between and need all the support they can get. I just wanted to leave a review so that other people would know what great people were at Moose Pharmacy and how much they care about helping the community, as well as their customers. Experiencia fantástica: Our family has been using Moose Pharmacy for several decades! The Pharmacist, staff (Robin) and all other employees have always been professional, caring and friendly.

Experiencia negativa: I've been going here for about a year now and I have issues with them every time I go. The staff is rude to me.

Experiencia negativa: Although it’s always nice to utilize a local business when possible, it’s my experience that this pharmacy uses this “home field advantage” to provide much less than average service. When it comes to service at a pharmacy, sub-par service can be extremely dangerous. I have had an experience in which a pharmacist not only gave me an incorrect medication, but when confronted about the issue was dismissive and less-than-honest about steps they had taken to attempt to get the medication correct. They said they called my doctor to seek clarification, but neither they nor my doctor could locate any records proving this contact. Additionally, the pharmacist told me they “left a note to speak to me” before I was dispensed the medication, but I had not left from the time I asked for the medication to be filled to when I picked it up. This was two instances in which I was shown a complete and total lack of respect with weak excuses that were easily disproven. This medicine cost a copay of $220 and a total of over $850. It was obvious that the most important thing to moose was not losing this money, and nothing else. I was told that I should keep the medication in the wrong dose because it might be useful in the future. What was not communicated was any small amount of concern that I could have overdosed on the medication or any concern that I had no usable medication. There was no concern that I had spent $220 on something I couldn’t use nor any concern that I would have to spend over $$850 to replace it in the correct dose since insurance wouldn’t pay again in the same month. They just couldn’t care less as long as they had their money. Additionally, it took four days for anyone to contact me back. I tried the form on their website, and that was totally useless, I called three days later and finally got a call back on the next day. I believe that this Pharmacy takes advantage of feeling “small town” but does not respect the people that they serve, and with the current dismissive and condescending pharmacist on staff, they never will. By the time I was called by the Pharmacy, I had already visited my doctor, consulted with them, found that they had no record of any contact with Moose and I arranged for a different pharmacy to handle all of my entire family’s needs. If you insist using Moose Pharmacy despite knowing these shortcomings I recommend you check your medication thoroughly before leaving the premises as you might be stuck with them and it’s possible they will not help you further. Edit: As far as the response from the owner goes below: it’s great that they are “glad” but as far as I am concerned this has been a huge waste of time and money. A quarter of my very expensive medication is wasted because of the screw-up, and now I have to make adjustments to my health care systemv with new vendors and new prescriptions. Literally the only people not bothered by any of this is Moose Pharmacy who are “glad we got the chance to talk”. Well good for you. Thanks for creating a dangerous situation and being “glad” to learn about it. Also now find attached the results of the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy in which they found the pharmacist at fault (I don’t know why his license is associated at wal mart, he did this at Moose).

I love the Moose Packs, my medicines are sorted in Packs with the date, day and time I am supposed to take them . No more messing with bottles and wondering if I took my medicine. They go that extra step to make sure their customers are taken care of. If there is an issue with any of my medications they take the time to talk to me and keep me informed of what’s happening. I’m 60 years old and I grew up in a generation where people actually talked and visited with one another. All you see now are peoples noses in their phones. Experiencia negativa: They used to be the best pharmacy around .I dont know what happened i was a die hard customer for years and years I had to go. every month there was issues with my medication I wish things could go back to normal I would go back if it was the employees are good people I think they got to busy to fast and might be over worked I think they are trying they are just not together like they once was i sure do miss them I am not sure if hiring more people will even help they are growing and thats hard on any company yes I have seen some employees get mean there but ya know maybe they don't understand why people are upset miscommunication i think is the big issue they do seem to care deep down im hurt but I do want to go back when things change maybe we can encourage them and see them take pride as they once did its hard when changes are made

Experiencia fantástica: We're new to mt pleasant, and we do know that we have travel into concord/Harrisburg for most items/stores. So when my daughter showed symptoms of a cold, I thought I'd have to travel all the way to target for a certain brand of medicine we prefer. (hylands cold n cough for children) which is a homeopathic medicine without the dyes, artificial colors, and flavors. I decided to stop at moose pharmacy first (5 minutes verse 25 minute drive to target) & they had this exact brand! I was so relieved and thankful I didn't have to waste an hour and a half just for a certain type of medicine ! So happy you guys carry this and we will be back :)
