Experiencia negativa: This was the most unprofessional practice I have ever experienced. Vague answers and stalling on questions about what my insurance would cover, then being told everything was covered only to receive surprise billing. I received pushy sales pitches for products they sell there on EVERY single appointment. On one appointment I was kept waiting over 1-1/2 hours in the exam room with no explanation. When I couldn’t wait any longer and explained I had to leave to get to another appointment elsewhere, I was treated as if I had done something wrong and offered no apology, just a weak excuse that they were behind. Then I was billed for bogus services I never asked for and had NOTHING to do with the back & neck problems I was there for. ( ex: parrafin waxing my hands) Most bizarre, Dr. Gibbs texted me at one point asking about a call she said I made (never made) to a woman (in the insurance realm) I never heard of and had no access to because she was on the practitioner side of things. I was dumbfounded. I never returned for treatment, of course.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place! I drive from Duluth to see John. I am a massage therapist and my body needs his work to feel great and keep working. His staff is so sweet and kind. They do their best to get me in when i need a visit and have some really great xtras!! Dustin does a great job at the front! Everyone I send there loves him and John. If you need a massage, they got you!! They have massage therapist there to help aid in your treatment. Johns kind demeanor, knowledge, and great touch makes him shine above the rest!!! Thank you for always being there for me!!!

Experiencia negativa: Care was good. They acted like they took my insurance…. Well 4 months after my apt right in the middle of the pandemic they put me into collections for services I swear I didn’t recognize. They may give descent care but watch out for the billing department. I will never go back to this place I found a way better chiropractor. Look on Instagram if you don’t see videos of them adjusting people don’t bother.

I always walk out feeling better than before. I've seen two massage therapists while there, both took the time to learn my body and tailor my services based on those needs. I appreciate the report I've built with the whole team! The office just finished a renovation and the environment is calm and clean. The waiting music in each room is a nice touch!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming here for a couple years and I love it. I've actually stuck with my current health insurance because of them! Dr. Harrison is great. I haven't seen Dr. Gibbs around in a while but her approach was always a great compliment to Dr. Harrison's. I love that they do electronic muscle stimulation before getting adjusted. Also, having massage therapy covered by my insurance has been life changing. I was a professional athlete when I first started coming here, and now my body is adjusting to a much lower level of exercise (abuse). Vanessa has been amazing. I look forward to the hot stones part every time. I get damn near giddy when I hear her bring them out of the hot water.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Gibbs helped me to start recovering from a chronic, 7 year struggle. Multiple doctor trips, xrays, physical therapists and even one other chiropractor couldn't help me with the pain in my ribs on my left side. I couldn't sit in a chair, nor could i lay in bed on anything but my right side. It had gotten so bad that most days I just wanted to curl up and cry. After a few sessions where the xrays showed no issues and my problem was getting no better, she was the first one to discover that I had something wrong with the muscles all over my ribs. We think there was an acid build up making little burrs in the muscle. Once she discovered this, we started heat treating the muscles with an ultrasound heat tool, lots of water and professional massage. The issue got much better so quickly after that. A few months later, I've since stopped going in, the pain in my ribs is almost completely gone, with only really deep muscles around my arm and pecks still giving me trouble as I work on massaging the acid build up out. My pain went from a daily 7-8 to a 0-2. They did forget about me once or twice in the waiting room, but the issue was resolved when I walked up to see what was going on. I actually feel like a real person again, and I can even sleep on my left side or back without being in pain. Everyone at the office was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr Gibbs and her office to others.

I am clearly happy with their care and I recommend them without reservation. I was impressed from my first visit with Dr. Gibbs' warmth, kindness, insightful questions, careful listening, and meticulous record-keeping. The same is true of Dr. Harrison, and I especially appreciate that I have never been pressured to make another appointment before I leave, or to set up a series of appointments, as other chiropractors have. Both doctors trust me to know when I need to see them, and their chiropractic treatment meshes with my belief - and my experience, with them - that regular chiropractic adjustments are good preventive medicine. They have also established an office setting and staff where I feel welcomed when I call or walk in, and where I leave, feeling I've just gotten a great "tune-up,".

Experiencia positiva: After years of seeing physical therapists for pain in my lower back and then trying acupuncture and getting no relief, I finally decided to give chiropractic a try. I found Dr. John Harrision at North Decatur Health Care to be very skilled in using multiple modes of therapy simultaneously to gradually improve my range of motion. I definitely feel less stiffness when I get out of bed in the morning. I know where I can go in the future if I have a return of pain.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to North Decatur Health for several years for chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, and massages. First of all, it's great being in a smaller mom-pop type facility where they all worth together to provide what's best for YOU! It's like Cheers! Everybody knows your name. I especially like the one-on-one personal treatment and caring you receive in each of the 3 areas. They are also as helpful as they can be with billing, working with insurance companies and trying to help you get the best price.

Experiencia fantástica: I did a search for a chiropractor through Castlight and NDHC came up with excellent reviews so I decided to make an appointment after being in level 8 pain for a week. The office was able to get me in the next day and I met with Dr. Harrison. Dr. Harrison has a good sense of humor and an excellent "bed side manner", lol. He listened, took notes, made me feel at ease and informed me that I would feel some pain after the first visit. He wasn't kidding, I felt immediately better after the visit and then toward the end of the day I was in major pain from the adjustment. I knew this was normal since it's been a year since I've seen a chiropractor and kept my follow up appointment. My pain level has went down to a 1 and my back and neck feel 10 times better. I'm thankful that I listened to the reviews and went to NDHC. Also, Tameka and the entire staff are Awesome; you're immediately greeted when you walk in and everyone has a smile on their face. If you're searching for a chiropractor, you can stop, you've located the right office.

I work in healthcare and it's unfortunate, but true that there are many doctors and medical professionals that either aren't personable or are just unprofessional. Well that isn't the case at this office at all. From the doctors to the billing staff I have had great experiences over the last 10+ years of being a patient. Dr. Harrison always makes me feel like I'm his only patient and has always been able to fit me in, sometimes during my lunch break when I need therapy. He is knowledgeable and trust me after seeing other chiropractors in the past, this is the only place I'll recommend to my family and friends.

I live a bit of of a distance from the office but it is worth the trip everytime. He knows exactly where my issues are just by touch and provides instant relief. The staff is also very friendly and accomodating with my busy schedule. They have squeezed me in several times at the last minute which you don;t normally experience with other Doctors. The other great point is Dr. harrison works alternating Saturdays until Noon and has great office hours during the week, which is a huge Plus. I highly reccomend this practice.
