Experiencia negativa: Only works if you believe in it. He started out great but fizzled out to not caring. In the end I think the only thing that helped was massage. He would try all this reiki garbage more than anything else. Reiki is ineffective according to science and from my own personal experience I confirm.

Experiencia fantástica: Follow up below... Joe is amazing! I went in to destress and just to relax and find balance and I came out brand new. It honestly truly works and feels great! Joe is very kind has small talk with you and really listens to what you need and puts you on the right path. Place is also very clean and does have multiple rooms so availability for an appointment at least for me was not a problem. Unfortunately my insurance was not covered by Joe so my time with him has ended which I really am heartbroken because he really is the good, but if you are covered or you don't care for insurance go! It is great and you will not regret it! Thank you Joe! Small follow up for those who care! Elizabeth who works in the front followed up with me and broke down my insurance down to the littlest detail. She was very patient and informed me that my insurance does work and I will be able to continue my follow ups! She was very kind and i am very grateful!

I have literally walked in bent over from back pain & walked out with a straight back. More than once. It works for me. He’s gotten rid of allergy headaches to helping my broken ankle heal faster! Lifelong back & neck/shoulder problems have been corrected; to my surprise. The nutritional testing & drug less products took away my daily stomach pain & bubbly tummy! Experiencia fantástica: I have several autoimmune issues that I have been dealing with for the last 18 years or so.  These issues cause joint, muscle and digestive pain.  I have ongoing care from my rheumatologist supported by my gastroenterologist, primary care and massage therapy.  While all this care certainly helps I still felt just plain lousy every day and began to resign myself that that would just be my life.  Then I decided to investigate acupuncture and contacted Joe Downer at Stratford Wellness Center.  After 18 years of feeling lousy Joe has been able to get me to a point where I can see real progress.  I have been receiving acupuncture and Nutritional Response Testing (NRT....check it out.  It is amazing.) since mid June of 2017 and can honestly say that, while I am still on my journey, I haven't felt better in a long, long time. If you have ever given acupuncture even a passing thought, take the step and give Stratford Wellness Center a try.  They are really helping me get closer to my health goals at a time when I had just about given up.

Experiencia fantástica: At the beginning of November 2016 I began getting debilitating cluster headaches. It was honestly the worst pain of my life. By February of 2017 these headaches, complete with double vision and a grotesquely swollen left eye, were 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. NOTHING helped. I went to a walk-in, followed up with my physician, saw my eye doctor, and visited my chiropractor several times, and even ended up in the ER. I was prescribed all sorts of medications, most of which did nothing, some made it worse. I wasn’t able to work, or drive, or do much of anything. I was completely at the end of my rope. In mid-March, I called and made my first appointment with Joe. In one session, Joe brought my pain level from “catastrophic” to “tolerable”. The swelling around my eye was visibly decreased. Later that day I had a few blissful hours where there was no pain whatsoever. I made two more appointments that week, and by the end of the third appointment, I was completely pain free! Now, whenever I feel pressure starting to build in my head, I immediately call the office and make an appointment. Liz always does an amazing job of getting me in as quickly as possible. Joe and Liz, thank you both for everything! I am grateful.

I'm thankful for his care during that time. Most western doctors would have done cortizone shots or recommended an operation.
