Judy (the owner) is an angel that is truly doing God’s work. Her and her staff are incredibly informative, helpful, and most importantly KIND souls. For 20+ years I’ve been a loyal customer and never felt a need to go anywhere else. If you are shopping elsewhere, come visit Nutri-foods, you likely won’t go back!

Went in wasn't greeted and was walked right past even though no one was in the store except employees. Will not return. Only natural path in Ferndale where I feel I'm cared for. They had what I needed, or else I would have left it there.

Experiencia fantástica: First time stopping in this particular nutritional store and everyone was beyond helpful, there were a gazillion products I researched for Plasma Cell/Blood cancer disorders and restoration of cartlige online but once I got there I was greeted with educational tips, use directions, literature booklets and the best suggestions for my situation. I've only used the Multi Collagen protein powder in my smoothies, I'll be back with an update if all goes well with the other products.

Also, digestive bitters are available that help heal my gastritis naturally. Your choices in Gluten Free flours are many, and on sale sometimes and we use our SNAP card. That speaks volumes on how good a reputation, trusting and reliable a health food store it is. I'm a long-time customer for last 20 some years writing this. I appreciate it whenever I have any health or nutrition questions/inquires the workers here will gladly assist and help find the answers I need or offer helpful suggestions. Today, I came in to buy some Herb Pharm Better Bitters. It's helping me feel better. My gut has begun to heal, feel calmer, less bloated, nauseous and distended before and while eating. The bitters reduce my painful Gastritis symptoms. Before I knew about taking bitter extract I felt lousy and so many foods hurt my stomach, and caused loss of appetite before and during eating, instead I was pleasantly surprised with several months of continuous daily use a few times a day the bitters have begun to heal my gut. Every day, everytime before I eat anything I take one dropperful of bitter extract with some water. It's true that bitters are helping me heal the damage in my gut from antibiotics and GERD, and Gastritis I've struggled with for 5 years; way too long. I also took a NOW Super Digestive Enzymes tablet and it also calms my gut and I feel much better. Nutri-Foods still love you.

Bought flour, lentils and buckwheat. Their stuff is super high quality. For fun I asked them to add a mystery item and they did!

They have hard to find items, such as essential oils, and supplements, some of which I can't find in Whole Foods. The staff is extremely helpful, and quite knowledgeable.

Experiencia negativa: Since 1983, I was (until 2 days ago) a regular customer of this business. From now on I will head toward Ferndale for my nutritional and vitamin needs. Here is why. I purchased a Probiotic product. I went home and took a pill or two. The next day I was looking at the bottle and noticed the expiration date and it was 4 months ago. I went back to the store with the receipt asking for a refund. I was expecting no hassle money back. I was wrong. Despite me having the expired product in hand with the clear stamp + store receipt from two days ago, I was refused the refund when I asked. To make a long story short, eventually they did refund me but not before a long hassle.( clerk was nice and has no bearing, it was the manager directing the clerk). I do not need more stress in my life specially from a store that sells nutritional products. I will drive 2 more miles south to Ferndale and see more variety at lower cost. This small stressful event will turn this event into a blessing in disguise. By the way in my purchases along the last 30 years I never returned a single purchase. I will throw the stuff in a shelf and never use it if I don't like it, but never returned stuff.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Nutri-Foods for at least 20+ years. I know most of the staff by first name. I've been lucky to have lived from walking distance to 20 minutes away. I've used the big chain vitamin stores and I keep coming back to Nutri-Foods.

Experiencia negativa: I called down there today, Wednesday 7/23/2014 around 2:30pm. The female employee who answered the phone was not only very rude, she also set the phone down in the middle of the call and continued to talk to her coworkers. She wasn't saying very nice things. I wanted to bring this to the owner's attention through their website, unfortunately their contact option isn't functioning.. I don't like resorting to leaving reviews because I don't necessarily believe that poor customer service from one employee means that the company itself holds low standards for such. I hope with Nutri-Foods, Inc. this is not the case.

Haven't been there lately, but when I called about a particular product type, Craig gave me tons of information and recommendations. He also encouraged me to come in and remind him of our conversation, so he could share some more info with me online. Wow with a capital "W" for the customer service!
