Experiencia fantástica: I had a great initial visit at Jester Chiropratic. Scheduling that appointment had been easy and I got in the next day. Confirmations were done by texting. When I arrived for the appointment, the staff were friendly and efficient. Dr Jester spent considerable time getting acquainted and exploring my specific problem as well as my overall wellbeing. He took multiple X-Rays and, based on what he saw, provided effective treatment. He made a followup appointment 2 days later to discuss his findings and continue treatment.

Every one of the Doctors in this practice are top notch. I normally see Dr. Greg, but I've been adjusted by each one of the Doctors here and they are all fantastic. Strong but gentle, truly knowledgeable and compassionate - I feel relieved of stress and tension after each adjustment.

Experiencia positiva: Jester Chiro really did help me for the 9 or so months I went there. The reason for the 3 stars is the subtle overcharging of my HSA card that entire time. During one of my first visits I was by Dr. Jester that my copay was $60 which I found to be oddly round number when run through insurance, especially when other offices always charged me in the mid to upper $50 range. After many months, I finally starting paying attentions to the EOBs I was receiving and my suspicions were right, I was being charged an extra $2.70 per visit from my HSA acct. An HSA is triple taxed deferred, the most valuable type of saving acct you can have, so every penny in there counts. I eventually addressed this at a later visit and had them adjust it to the proper amount, but no offer to credit me for the money that was essentially stolen from my HSA acct or even a simple apology. It felt more like, oh, we're caught, just change it. The treatment did help, although you will be encouraged to go more then you need and often try to be sold products you don't need. My recommendation, if it's your only choice, they will help you out, just be cautious of their billing practices

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Jester Family because I was experiencing excruciating lower back pain during my 2nd pregnancy and needed help. I am so thankful that I found them! The pain I was having was so unbearable I found myself struggling to perform daily tasks, or even lay down comfortably. I started coming 2x a week, and after a couple weeks found myself feeling 150% better. Now after a little over 3 months, I just finished my last appointment with them before having my 2nd child, and I can honestly say that their help and expertise gave me the ability to thoroughly enjoy the remaining months of my pregnancy. I'd recommend to any and all experiencing back pain, but more importantly to pregnant moms because it really makes a tremendous difference. Thank you Jester Family!

Experiencia negativa: My 24 year old daughter recently went in with severe back pain. She had been a patient back in 2020 with good results then. However, when she went a couple weeks ago she was told by Dr. Jester that she would not receive treatment until she paid off an unknown balance from 2020. We didn't know about this balance as we were never billed for it. Along with that balance she would owe a $65 deductible for the current visit. Something we have never had to pay any other doctor up front for. Dr. Jester later told me it was because his staff checked with my insurance (before the visit) and found my daughter had not met her deductible yet. Again, no other doctor has ever charged us for an unmet deductible at the time of an office visit. And note, we have no copay. My daughter explained that I handle all the insurance and payments, and Dr. Jester asked how old she was. She said 24 and immediately felt humiliated because it was as if Dr. Jester was insinuating that she was old enough to take care of these matters on her own and not push them off on her mommy (I say with sarcasm). I later explained to him that she is on our (her parent's) insurance policy and she was doing as instructed by us: refer all billing questions to her mother. I handle payments, not her. Long story short, my daughter paid the outstanding balance and deductible just wanting the doctor to alleviate her pain. She had the adjustment and left, still in excruciating pain. She was very upset when she called me, mad and already searching online for another chiropractor. She felt as if she, the patient, wasn't the number one priority. It was all about the money. $115 from 2020 and a $65 deductible. So I called Dr. Jester and we discussed the matter. To his credit, he admitted the matter could have been handled better. He explained that his billing system never generated a final bill from 2020 and my daughter's visit that day must have triggered it. I asked him to see it from our point of view - that a patient went in for help with severe back pain and gets slapped with a "pay this now or you'll get no treatment" without a chance to even review the charges or an itemized receipt. And that I am the one who handles all insurance issues for our household as there are several of us on the policy and I handle the bill payments. And the deductible being paid upfront? That's bull. I just pulled up online the EOB for that office visit. My daughter's deductible has been met. Maybe it wasn't on the day of the chiropractor visit, but when the visit was processed by our insurance, it was met. Therefore, our out-of-pocket (what we owe Dr. Jester) is $35.50. That's it. That's all we owe for that visit. So, Dr. Jester was overcharging us. I wonder if he would have charged me the $65 if it had been me that day instead of my daughter. Because I would have held my ground and respectfully said, "No, I'm not paying that. Please put it through my insurance first." In the end my daughter ended up going to Patient First that night in excruciating pain. She ended up at her PCP first thing the next morning. And then started PT the day after that. I heard from Dr. Jester 3 times on the afternoon of my daughter's office visit. I called him and then he called me twice after that. All calls were about the billing issues and how he was getting to the bottom of it. He did refund my daughter the full amount he charged her credit card. And he sent me an itemized bill of the 2020 charges that I've since reviewed and will pay. And now that I've seen the EOB I'll pay the $35.50 for the recent office visit. Sadly though, I cannot recommend this practice. Dr. Jester seems like a good guy, but the patient didn't come first. August 2, 2022 Update: Just an FYI...I learned today that it's illegal for a practice to insist/require on payment of a deductible at time-of-service. They may only require payment for a co-pay.

Experiencia fantástica: I first came to Jester for functional medicine as I was having anxiety and wanted to deal with it without having to go on pills/medication. This is very unique to most Chiro offices around. Dr. Jenn was able to review my blood work, get me on a new supplement and diet plan and provide healing therapies. Now that the anxiety is manageable/gone I now see them weekly for adjustments for personal care and because, of course, getting your back cracked is awesome. Dr. Derin, Dr. Mark, and Dr, Greg are all great, professionals and care about my wellness. Amy at the front is the best too! Five starts team!

Experiencia fantástica: There are 3 doctors who do spinal adjustments: Deron Jester, Mark and Greg. All 3 are very thoughtful and careful, especially when they do my neck. That's very important to me! They always make sure that my neck muscles are relaxed before manipulating the cervical. The only thing that might be better is if they had a couple of roller therapy tables. Some chiros have these, some don't. The receptionists are very helpful also and there is a kiosk where you can label parts of your body where you are experiencing inflammation with a touchscreen.
