Experiencia negativa: The front desk lady's are so rude. If you ask them a question they get a attitude with you. They don't wear mask, but they get upset if you pull your mask down so they can hear you. The Doctor doesn't care about his patients, he's in and out. He will forget to call your medicine in to the pharmacy. All this office cares about is taken your money and pushing you out the door. I would not come to this Doctor.

He is understanding and kind. He listens. Some Drs come in and out, but not Doctor Roy. He will spend time and talk to you. He explains medical and diseases in detail to me and my wife. Plus, he sees me in the hospital when I admitted. I specializes in internal medicine. For me that is important. He is a great physician and primary doctor.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible Experience – Only in it for the money I had an absolutely horrible experience at this office. From the moment I walked in, I felt like they were just trying to squeeze money out of me. The doctor insisted on doing unnecessary checkups and procedures, none of which I actually needed. It was clear they were taking advantage of my lack of medical knowledge, pushing me into tests and treatments that didn’t make any sense. What’s worse, after I left and did some research, I found another place that did the exact same thing for $200, while this office had the nerve to quote me a whopping $1500! I feel completely ripped off and would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money, and go somewhere that actually cares about your well-being—not just their bottom line. This should communicate your frustration while highlighting the financial disparity and lack of trust.

Dr.roy himself is very informative and allows me to voice my opinions and answer any questions I have . Overall I'm happy with how I've been treated and will continue to consult with Dr.Roy

Experiencia negativa: In all my life I’ve never been such an unprofessional clinic. The front desk lacks common sense to the fullest extent and the nurse in the back with the offices is rude with whoever she’s on the phone with and you can’t understand her due to Marlboro I’m assuming. My appointment was make for 10am and wasn’t seen until after 12pm and still waited in the room for over an hour. The whole entire clinic is disgusting so I guess a cleaning crew is out of the question. Dr. Roy himself tried to argue with me and my sister on what kinda valve was put into my chest and told us we were wrong but yea buddy, you’re right they put a tissue valve in there so I guess that ticking I’m hearing is the pigs mouth chattering its teeth. Also, instead of listening to us and talking to us, he was on Snapchat. The secretary or whatever the old woman at the front is wants to act like she’s a RN or doctor and make demands, just tell me the appointment time, Karen. Call me rude I don’t care, I had open heart surgery and then to be treated like that, nah. Save your time and go somewhere else. The ONLY 2 nurses there I liked are Ms.Rose and I cannot remember the name of the other, props to you two, you’re amazing. Everyone else, do better. Also, along with the nastiness of that office, there were literally gnats in my room.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave no stars, I would. My husband used this office to complete his physical for his green card approval. We spent around $1300 out of pocket with no OOP discount and he was treated with nothing but unprofessional behavior. The office, operatory, and bathroom were in disgusting condition. When it was time for the results to be picked up - they called and told him it was ready and all he had to do was sign and he could leave with the documents. He went on a Friday and arrived between 9:30-10am and was told that the doctor would not be in until 10:30am. He left and came back at 11am where he waited until 3pm (four hours for quick math) for them to tell him that not only were the results not ready for him to take but they missed two labs in the initial appointment. So he had to wait another 30 minutes for them to get a phlebotomist in the office. He told them he was going to get some food while he waited for the phlebotomist to arrive. To which the manager finally said something to him, “We close at 4, and the phlebotomist won’t wait on you.” Seriously?? Once the phlebotomist arrived she said that the two labs that were missing were caught by the office that received his other tests and that Dr. Roy’s office would have been aware of this. Which means they knew before his arrival that it was not ready for him. He did not get to leave the office until 4pm (5 hours accumulated) and this caused us to miss a family gathering we were meant to attend in Baton Rouge. He returned today (Wednesday) and waited another hour after calling a day ahead and the morning of to make sure they were ready. And, of course, when he arrived they were not ready. Again the office manager refused to speak with him and did nothing but eat at her desk and avoid conversation and did not apologize about their mistake. We also received no apology or acknowledgment from Dr. Roy. We live 1 hour away from this office and their hours are not flexible. So he had to take off two separate days because of their neglect and poor communication. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS OFFICE.

Experiencia negativa: I cried. 1) UNPROFESSIONAL-Argued About My Medical Diagnosis regarding the fact I am on a mood stabilizer which helps my swings, rapid cycles, levels me out, and the migraines . The several-times-a- week migraines quit and I am calm , focused, feel stable and less obsessive. But he wants to say I think you're lying. You're not ocd or BP . MF You Aint Even sat with me for 5 mins!!! And You Gonna Argue About My Medical Treatments and Psychiatrist. For context I am in between trying to find a new one due to insurance. I also had to put as PCP on medicaid to make an appt. I needed meds refilled which I was told by staff otp that they wouldnt mind doing that for me and that they would happily help me. . Also they never confirmed appt nor advised I would need my physical insurance cards. Most take my LAWallet/the numbers and can verify on the computer. For someone who uses lyft/uber and had to leave work early to come. I wasted quite a bit of money and it wasnt worth it. I was so angry I marched home crying . I felt so degraded , and hurt. 2)They requested me to return for bloodwork in morn and that they wanted me to come back in a week. 3) They also could have made my doc excuse for work when giving a copy of my RX as i requested. But no suddenly we just ready to leave you can call in morn to have it faxed over. My work does not have a fax number !!!! Did I mention felt degraded, disrespected, and like there was piss poor communication? I was someone desperate for help and asked advice for docs that maybe under my plan from the Internist. He was just a straight A double S. I also developed a headache in in the cubicle room . And they waited to last second to see me! I never wish to go back. Don't make him your pcp. Not worth it.

He will go out of his way to help his patients. I was in the hospital after an emergency bone fracture, he seen I was there under an orthopedic doctor and saw me while doing his nightly rounds

Experiencia negativa: The office receptionist is incompetent, not attentive and informative. They act as if they don't care about the patients. I called last month to schedule an appointment for 9am. The day before They did not call to confirm so I called to make sure. They instructed me to come in at 9:45am the next day. At the appointment time The receptionist was aware that I was a new patient. She gives me the paperwork and afterward she asks for my insurance, Then she states after I had been there over 30 mins. I can't be seen by the doctor because he is not listed as my primary physician on my card. If I'm a new patient and first time visit how would his name be listed on my insurance card. That information should have been explained the day that I scheduled the appointment. At least before she even gave me the paperwork, That is not even being considerate of the patient. So I couldn't be seen by the Doctor until I get his name on my insurance card as my primary physician!

Experiencia fantástica: Very efficient and friendly atmosphere. A little bit of a long wait to get to the exam rooms, but Dr. Roy and staff then take all the time you need for questions and work up. You don’t feel rushed or like your on an assembly line. The only complaint was a lot of tests were ordered (but that’s my fault for putting things off). Overall a very good visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I am Bruce heath I am 62 years old I've been going to Dr Roy for 15 to 20 years the reason that I'm still going because I had a serious problem with my carotid artery on the left side of my neck did not know it Dr Roy found it set me up with Dr White leading heart surgeon in this area and we got it fixed and 2018 I had a spot to come up on my arm and went to Dr Roy and he told me he said Bruce you need to have that checked we made an appointment with Dr Lewis Virginia Lewis it was melanoma cancer they removed it in the lymph nodes under my arm and he's always been there for me that's why I am still going and I appreciate all that he has done for me and he is one of the few that still makes his rounds at the hospital when you're there.

The first time I went the staff was rude and I waited two hours to see the doctor just for him to say “well don’t eat fatty foods” when I told him I have stomach issues (turns out I have gallstones). He schedules me an ultrasound (only because I asked) and I had to come back for a follow up appointment. Waited two more hours, never saw the doctor. I asked the nurse how much longer he would be and she said “he’s in room 2” and then slammed the door. I finally got up to walk out and the same nurse asked if I saw the doctor and I said no, I have to get back to work can you please make copies of my records? She snatched the papers from my hand without saying a word and took them to the receptionist. The receptionist (who had nobody at her window or around her) said “I’m too busy I can’t print your records right now you’ll have to come back at 1”. She said this after I had already waited two hours and did not even see the doctor. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE staff and doctor I have ever been to in my life. I am patient and don’t mind waiting but for them to make me wait that long THEN be so rude on top of it is unacceptable. Go anywhere else but here, trust me.

I am writing this review just because of the experience when I called and asked about an invoice that I paid in full with cash at the service day. I guess because I am an Asian, still have some accent when I speak English that make the lady either couldn’t hear me or understand me, then she hung the phone up. I called in the second time and she kept saying “what, what is it”. I then said OMG you couldn’t hear me, understand me or what, she hung up again. When I called again, she asked if I am going to be nice to her or what, I said that was because you hung up on me. There were she hung up on me again. I called AGAIN, the other lady picked up the phone and she could understand me perfectly and helped me solve the problem. That make me wonder why the First Lady couldn't. I think it was just simple that I just had a question about the service that I paid $800 cash and was still got billed. I CAN SWEAR THAT EVERYTHING I SAID ABOVE WAS TRUE. IF I SAID ANYTHING WRONG, ANY BAD THING CAN HAPPEN TO ME. Dr Chris, when I was talking to you on the phone, I could still hear that First Lady talking about me, like she had no care if I could hear her on the background. This is so RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. To Dr Roy and Dr Chris, if you two see this review, please fix the problem. And please don’t let this issue go any further. Thanks

After informing her she was deceased she begin to ask questions regarding her death as if I was lying .
